We have two dogs that shed like crazy and the Roomba has been excellent in cleaning up the hair on a daily basis. The app for this vacuum allows us to set a schedule for it to come out and vacuum every day. I no longer have to bribe my 14 year old to pull out the vacuum which drove the dogs nuts and they would try to attack. The Roomba does a great job picking up the dirt and dog hair throughout our house. We mostly have tile with some area rugs. It does great going over both surfaces. It is easy to clean - just empty out the drawer which is full of dog hair every day!
