    My Everyday Headset

Sorry, verbose review but I have a few things to say. I use my new Logitech G433 only for PC gaming (at the moment) playing SWTOR on my ASUS Q534 (which I purchased at Best Buy). My previous PC headsets were both Beats, a 1st gen Studio Noise-quieting and Solo 2.0 Bluetooth. My ears would hurt after an hour wearing either of them which disappointed me because these are expensive headsets meant to be worn for hours at a time listening to music. I had gone back to using an old pair of Logitech behind-the-neck chat headsets I bought about 10 years ago for PC gaming but still had in the drawer. When I first heard of the G433s I did a lot of research to convince me they were worth buying. 7.1 on PC and compatible for Xbox, PS4 and mobile, although I have other headsets for the consoles, plus the low price (got them for $89.99) and reputation of Logitech convinced me. I was able to grab a pair in Blue Camo last weekend and I have spent a week with these playing about 18-20 hours of SWTOR. The sound quality is awesome and I can wear them for hours without any pain to my ears. :) I love the blue camo look and fabric feel but this may be a turn off to some people. The padding around the ears is comfortable and the head band is padded. The volume controls are in a easy to find location on the wire. I'm very happy I bought these. I look forward to trying out the software to customize the audio and try them with my console for review purposes. Best thing is.. Good bye Beats!

In my PC gaming time, I've owned some extremely high-end headsets but never a 7.1 headset, so I had some high hopes, and for the most part, this did not disappoint. First, the styling is a bit different than what you'd normally see on a headset, it's cloth covered, which leads me to wonder if it will pick up dirt, oils from hands, etc. a little more easily than a plastic one that could be wiped off. Second, despite being marketed as a 7.1 surround sound headset, it's a stereo headset with virtual 7.1 surround capabilities through the Logitech Gaming application. The 7.1 surround capabilities only function on a PC when using the Logitech USB dongle. It does an alright job at it, but I imagine a headset with separate drivers would do a better job. This headset does not do 7.1 surround when connected to a console. Third, the cable is comically short for being a wired PC headset. Interestingly they included a second one to use with phones, but the one they specifically have as a PC headset wire is not longer. The boom mic is detachable, which I have my reservations about having experienced other headsets with detachable boom mics where that is the single point of failure for the whole system, so I'm hoping this will not be a repeat performance. Admittedly, those were not logitech headsets. It comes with a nice cloth carry bag and a separate cloth carry bag for the wires, I imagine they have it in mind people will take this with them when they go console gaming. The sound itself is actually quite good. I get more bass out of this headset than most that I've experienced with the exception of the super-high-end. The logitech gaming application has a 7.1 surround demo which sounds cool and displays what the headset's virtual surround can do for the most part, the bass portion of the demo left me wonder if my face was vibrating. As for outside of that, I did experience the surround in some games if I was paying attention, but it didn't really stand out. Bottom line, if you want a cool looking stereo headset with virtual surround capabilities, that sounds good and is reasonably comfortable to wear, then this is up your alley. It does a good job at what it does, without being terribly stellar.

Gaming Mic / Headphone fantastic on all PLATFORMS!

Been a while since I got a set of wired gaming headphones and these pretty much suits every single of of my needs. This set of headphones/gaming mic with a set of items depending which platform you would like to use it for but more on that later. Logitech G433 7.1 Surround Sound Wireless headset with DTS X / PRO-G is something that if you want to get a mic for all of your gaming platforms this is it hands down. Presentation of the box is nice showing and telling you giving detail what the headphones can do. As for the headphones themselves I love the design. I ended up with the dark blue camo color headphones. The headphones are lightweight, like really light on on the head and fits very snug. Dark blue plastic feels sturdy enough around the headphones itself. inside the box comes an extra set of Ear mesh pads for replacement and also claim to be washable. The mesh material feels nice to hold and touch. Logitech did a good job in this regards. Inside the box, You get everything you need to plug the headphones to your gaming platform of choice. USB DAC with 3.5 mm for PC, Basic Console / PC mic cord with mute control, Mobile Cable for using with your phone...There is also a PC splitter are all inside as well. As person who own or at-lease tested most of these platforms I will tell you my experience with them all. Boom mic provided was pretty much the same across the board. It's a good mic. Every one of the members of the clan I am in could hear me clear with no problems and I'm sure if you are going to use for streaming with twitch everyone will hear you loud and clear. PC: This was the best experience with the headphones I had playing movies and games in 7.1 was a delight. USB DAC gave these headphones a boost in bass which these G455 are lacking without it. The drivers are the best to grace these headphones. Playing CS:GO / GTAV / Gears of War 4 / Forza I could hear every single gunshot and engine around me. These headphones might also be useful for VR as well. If you getting them of PC gaming you are golden with no issues at all. PS4 / Nintendo Switch / XBOne: Sound is downgraded to just stereo due to the fact that the DAC doesn't work for gaming consoles for obvious reasons. But the sound is great for what it is. While I have a gaming PC, family like to play on consoles so these headphones was mostly used for console time. While using it for hours the sweat/stain resistant fabric worked well. When using the G433 on the consoles the bass is awful in my opinion, it is just lacking. I really notice it when playing Killing Floor 2 on PS4 and a "BOOM" from a level 25 demolition rocket was not there. Disappointing. Still I can't fault these headphones since you are most likely buying these to use across every gaming device. The mute switch is well built into the cord and not loose so it seems to me these are built to last. Mobile: About the same as console as far as sound quality goes but at-lease they give you a mic cord so you can rock these like everyday headphones for music. Strange enough these headphones does a decent job of that as well. Played Soundcloud and Apple Music with an iPad and it sound great. Audiophiles most likely won't be pleased with these G433 though. Mids are clean but the bass is once again bad. Which when you look at the overall picture of what these headphones can do, I think its still a great thing. Logitech also throws in two carrying bags inside (One for the headphones itself and one for your cords. both the same color of the headphones themselves.) which is a nice bonus. I think G433 are awesome if you are looking for a jack of all trades for all of your gaming platforms at a fantastic price honestly. I am happy to own a set because I just want one set of headphones that work for every gaming device I got. These take care of that and I highly recommend theses to any gamer out there.

Logitech - G433 Wired 7.1 Gaming Headset is must have accessory for gaming and general use. It is very light and comfortable to use, 7.1 surround sound which is perfect for gaming. The ear cups have a cloth-like exterior to match the grille cloth. The right ear cup holds 3.5mm connections for both the audio cable and the removable boom mic, a flexible rubber arm that clicks securely into place. The headset comes with the aforementioned two pairs of ear pads and detachable boom mic, plus two cables, a cloth carrying bag, and a 7.1-channel USB sound card. The PC cable is 6.5 feet long and wrapped in cloth, features an inline remote with volume wheel and mic mute switch. There is another 5 feet cable included for phone. The mobile cable is plain rubber and features an inline mic with a single play/pause button. The carrying case is a soft, zip-up pouch that comfortably holds the headset with the ear cups folded flat. It also has lot of room for both cables and the extra ear pads. The included 7.1-channel USB sound card lets G433 simulate surround sound with audio processing and mixing between the headset's stereo drivers. Surround sound is great for all games and Mic quality is outstanding. The Logitech G433 is a very flexible wired gaming headset that comes with a ton of accessories which include two cables, two sets of ear pads, a carrying case, and a USB sound card enabling simulated surround all add up to a very good deal for $100.

Pros Connections for almost any type of device Comfortable over the ear fit Bluetooth DAC for 7.1 surround on PC games Positional sound in PC games can even place sounds behind Overall balanced sound Sound still loud even when wired to smartphone Breathable fabric reduces sweating during long sessions Tension on head strong enough without being too tight Extra earpiece pads are softer Earpiece pads are washable Includes carrying bag Cons Limited instructions Folding doesn’t reduce bulk Separate bag for adapters doesn’t have a place in the main bag Fabric on installed earpiece pads could be smoother for longer listening Changing pads could be easier Cables should have integrated straps to allow better organization Default sound without EQ adjustment makes headphones sound weak Many people purchase headphones for separate uses. Not because they want separate headphones but rather headphones did not exist with connections to multiple devices. For most people, it would be great to have one set of headphones that is good enough for nearly any use. The Logitech G433 headphones attempt to the type of headphones that are affordable and adaptable so that you don’t have to spend a fortune on multiple headsets. The primary focus is on gaming but with all the connectors they easily suit other scenarios. Included in the box you will find 2 main cables. Both have the smaller stereo headset jacks which fit most smartphones, stereos, tablets, game consoles, and PCs. One cable has built in volume controls and a mic mute button best suited for gaming while the other includes a push to talk mic that uses the volume controls on the device, such as tablets and smartphones. For best sound on a PC there is an included USB DAC which allows 7.1 surround sound allow positional audio within games. If you can’t use the USB adapter and want sound to your PC and you have a separate jack for input, there is an adapter that splits input and output to separate jacks so you connect to your PC’s headphone and mic jacks using the same cable. A boom microphone is also included that plugs directly into the left earpiece for in game communications. The boom microphone is listed as having a pop filter. Although not tested, any improvements to microphones for in game are a welcomed edition. The earpieces and headband are listed as microfiber. Although comfortable, if you are expecting the installed earpads to be soft you will be disappointed. The material is soft enough to be useable for long periods but is has a rough texture. This at first might seem to be a bad thing but it does seem to solve one nagging issue that can happen with extended use of headphones, particularly in gaming, and that is sweat. The material makes up for some of this roughness by allowing them to breath preventing the annoying sweat buildup that seems to happen on some. Thankfully, if you can’t handle the texture there are softer earpads included in the box. The whole package comes with two carrying bags. One for the headphones and one for the adapters. They do the job well but a more foldable design for the headphones in the future would be appreciated. Strangely, there is no storage location for the accessories bag inside the main bag. You are left with the choice of either jamming it in with the headphones or carrying it separately. One bag with accessory pockets or at least a secondary pouch for the accessory bag would make carrying easier. Another small tweak that could go a long way would be integrated cable straps to allow neatly bundling cables to put in the bag when done. If the versatility has you interested, you might find sound quality sells the whole package. Being realistic, these headphones are not top end audiophile quality but they are well balanced for most uses with an overall good range. The primary focus is on gaming and when used with the included USB DAC the 7.1 surround sound does quite well. Sounds were easily recognized as coming from a certain direction. If someone was coming up from behind you, you would hear the sound behind you as you would expect. This makes games more immersive and hair raising when you didn’t expect anything to be behind you. Equalizer adjustments are dependent on the connected device but they work well for watching movies, listening to games, audiobooks, and of course gaming. Surprisingly, for such large headphones they can achieve high volume even when driven by the amplifier built into a smartphone. The overall audio range is good enough to allow crisp dialog while including enough bass to give some impact when needed. Most people will likely want to make at least some basic EQ adjustments as the default audio just doesn’t do the headphone justice. If you are a person who likes headphones with heavy bass these are not for you. For others who would want to have a single pair of headphones that can adapt to nearly any situation with good sound quality and comfortable extended listening for an affordable price, the Logitech G433 headphones just might be the perfect fit.

The Packaging was very nicely done, Everything fit and was packed nicely. Included are the headphones, all cords needed for Aux, PC, and consoles, Carrying bag for Cords and for headphones and an extra set of ear covers (microfiber) for the unit. First I tried the Aux cable for my phone, the sound was phenomenal, all the tones hit on target and the bass was perfect. This can also be used to answer calls as well with the detachable microphone. I then moved on to my Xbox, Gaming was spot on as well as the mic I used in game on BF, The sound was spot on and crisp. You can hear everything around you and when I played on my PC, I actually knew what direction people around me were coming from with the 360 degree positional audio. One item of note the 360 degree only works on the PC when you download the Logitech gaming software and use the included DAC (digital audio converter plug in). You can set up different profiles to use for different scenarios or games. The fit is right on for me (big head haha) doesn’t feel tight, restrictive, or heavy. The fit and feel of the water resistant mesh earphones is great as they fit over your ears not on top like all others. Meaning your earlobes do not come in to contact with anything, forgoing the dreaded earlobe pain/sweating from marathon gaming sessions. When not in use the headphones swivel 90 Degrees so they can rest on your neck and not get in your way. Without a doubt I would recommend these headphones to friends and family! I am a happy owner.

When I first unboxed the Logitech G433 headphones, they looked nice with the blue camo coloring, but the feel of the earcups made me think that they might be cheaply made. The headphones come equipped with a pair of cloth covered earcups, but those can be swapped out for an included set covered in a micro-fiber type material. Although both sets feel a bit flimsy, this is to reduce the overall weight of the headphones and to keep your head cool for long gaming sessions. The headband is fully adjustable and the earcups rotate, so combined with the light-weight earcups, the headphones can be worn for hours with no real issues... even if you wear glasses. Connecting the headphones to my laptop was fairly simple: attaching the removable boom mic (which is a nice feature for traveling) and setting up the USB cabling took only a few minutes. The headphones can also be connected through the headphone/mic jacks, but to get the 7.1 surround sound you need to use USB. There's also a cable for use with a mobile device, but I haven't tried that since I don't use a headset with my phone when I'm at my house. I also installed the Logitech software which allows you to fine tune the surround settings to your own taste. The software also allows you to control any other Logitech devices (mice, keyboards, etc) from one location, which is nice. To start, I listened to some music and watched a few videos, and although the sound from the headphones was good, it lacked a bit of clarity at times when compared to some of the other headphones I have that are marketed primarily for those purposes. Don't get me wrong, these headphones sound good when listening to music, but when I used them for gaming, it was clear that was their niche; the sound in every game I've tried so far is great. Even though the earcups allow a bit more outside noise in, the sound that's delivered more than makes up for it. The mic is also crystal clear according to others in my Teamspeak channels. As of now, I'm not using any of my other headphones for gaming. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with these headphones. They're light, comfortable, keep my head much cooler than my other headphones, and the sound when gaming is much better than any other headphones I have. If you're looking for a moderately priced set of gaming headphones, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these.

This headphone is great for gaming and general use. I will brief my review indicating some pros and cons: Pros: very light weight and comfortable, 7.1 surround sound which is perfect for gaming, a lot of accessories from cases to cables and USB cable for PC use beside one for consoles and one for phones and tablet and extra ear cups. Cons: None as I'm very happy to have this headphone for my Xbox One S.

Four stars for overall but I’ll break it down. Sound is a solid 5/5 don’t touch anything turn off that surround sound just makes it worse. Quality is okay I’d say 3/5 still comfortable to wear but the ear pads could be better. These are replacing my g733 just because of sound alone. I wouldn’t buy these unless they were on sale

I bought this headset primarily for online PC gaming, but I have been using it a lot for just listening to music. It includes a cable for mobile use with a mic on the cable, a cable for PC use with both headphone and microphone jacks, a USB audio connector to use the headset with the Logitech software, a separate microphone that comes off, and a nifty storage bag. This is pretty great at this price point to have so many options. It can be used with PC, PS4, Xbox One, a mobile device, or pretty much anything else. The sound quality is also decent, not quite as much bass as most, but this is something I actually appreciate. It gives the headset more of a flat range making it great for listening to a variety of music.

So I went from console to pc and from wireless to wired headsets. All I am going to say is that this headset should be more expensive. You can customize with Logitech G hub if you want surround sound on, or FPS like sound arrangements. I haven’t seen a headset as comfortable and conforming to all the people who have worn it. Also with a slick design of an almost mesh like look, the headset is sleek but also light. 10/10 would recommend.
