The Ninja brand is one of those brands that I come to know as reliable and customer service forward. I've been enjoying their blenders for years now. Every time I had an issue it was address and replaced with new products. Now they are going forward with making coffee machines I've taken notice. The guessing is taken out of mix with coffee. I've enjoyed both hot and cold blends with this unit. It also makes it easier to set from 4 to 1 servings. The AutoiQ kind of reminds me of a Brewster at my local shop. Setup is easy, everything is easy to see as well.

    Quick gourmet coffee at home

Love this coffee maker!!! It is simple but makes excellent coffee with the touch of a button. Much better than the other high brand coffee station that we have. This ninja makes the perfect brew of coffee for a single serving up to a carfe. It does not make the coffee that leaves a bitter after taste but a smooth deep flavor that leaves you wanting more. The water compartment is easyily detachable for refills and easy to read as it is see thru and adds to the aesthetics of the coffee maker on your countertop. The over ice brew option is a dream if you like iced coffee and is an added bonus. Overall I can't say enough about this ninja as it has made me more into a coffee drinker than before.

This coffee maker does everything I need it to do. It comes with a glass carafe. It has a permanent filter which is super convenient because I hate buying and changes them out. There is a digital display with programmable brew. You can brew a single cup or even a travel size cup which is convenient right before I go to work. There a three different types of brew classic, rich, and over ice. It sits just a little tall on my counter just underneath my cabinets but still looks great.

    The Best for Iced Coffee!

I drink my coffee almost exclusively iced. I've tried everything to find iced coffee I like at home, from (messy) cold brewing, to Brew over Ice coffee pods and brewing double-strength pots. Nothing has been exactly like donut shop iced coffee until the Ninja. The iced coffee mode makes perfect full bodied iced coffee that tastes just as good, if not better, than the stuff I buy on the way to work every morning. The permanent filter is a plus, but I'm currently using throw-away filters for ease of cleaning. I love the drip-stop too. Such a simple concept that works great.

    Ordinary Coffee Maker

There is really nothing special about this coffee maker. It brews coffee just as well as other coffee maker brands I've had in the past. I have yet to use it to make 1 mug of coffee, but that does seem like a nice option to have. One thing that is a little irritating is the fact that is does not have an automatic pause-n-serve feature. That's a feature I'm use to having with past coffee makers. If you want to pour a cup of coffee before it's done brewing, you have to remember to switch over the drip-stop lever. There's even been a few times where it was done brewing and a few drips slipped out onto the burner when I was pouring my coffee. The other thing I noticed is that we cannot use the permanent filter with the type of coffee we buy. We use pre-ground coffee you can buy from a grocery store and we found that's too fine of a grind for the permanent filter... there were grounds in our brewed coffee. So, we have to use paper filters to resolve this issue. So, does this make a good cup of coffee? Yes. Is there anything special about this coffee maker? Not really.

My lady and I are not coffee drinkers we got this so we could have it for when her parents and my parents are over. However, we tried a cup and it was amazing. Clean up was a bit long but there was an amazing experience and I don't even drink coffee. This is a must have.

    Stick to Keurig.

I had such high expectations for this Ninja Coffee Brewer. First mistake I made was in underestimating it's size. It's quite the behemoth of coffee machines. Size wise, I only recommend this thing for those that have counter space to spare. Secondly, I'm disappointed with the time it takes to brew a cup of coffee. Call me spoiled but it feels like this thing takes an eternity versus my Keurig machine. If you're in a rush and literally have less than 2 minutes to spare before you have to hit the road, you might as well hope that someone was kind enough to leave enough coffee in the pot at work. Thirdly, the coffee doesn't retain it's warmth nearly as long. Picture this: using a Mossy Oak thermos and making a cup of coffee using my Keurig by 7:00am...my coffee stays warm until at least 12:30pm. Pretty decent in my book. Using the Ninja Coffee Brewer...my coffee has lost a significant amount of warmth by 9:30ish using the same thermos. My lunch break isn't until 1:15pm so I rely on my coffee to make it through the first half of the day. The only good thing I have to say about this machine is that...wait, let me think about it....oh, yeah! I feel I don't lose as much of the coffee/caffeine itself with this machine. If you value the experience of scooping out your coffee, have plenty counter space to spare and want to immediately drink your coffee right after the brew you should try this out. If you procrastinate in the morning, need your coffee to stay warm through more than 3 hours in a good thermos, or you fight with your 2yr old that keeps trying to take his hot wheels race cars to daycare and every second counts, stick with Keurig. All coffee drinkers are in my household (except the little one...chocolate milk for him) and no one uses the shiny Ninja Coffee Brewer anymore; not even visitors. Keurig it is for us.

    Good, hot coffee

Overall a good machine. The coffee is piping hot, the warmer plate keeps it hot for 2 hours +. The -1 star is: the glass carafe is awful! There is a lip on the inside that prevents you from being able to get all of the liquid out, be that coffee or trying to clean it. There's also a hole in the bottom of the handle that can hold a lot of water when you wash it. I recommend getting a 45oz thermal carafe, or a different glass one instead of the one that comes with this product.

    Gr8 for one person

Just brewed my first cup of coffee. Have some Kirkland (Costco) Columbian ground coffee on hand. Set machine to CLASSIC BREW b/c this was my first try. Ended up pouring some almond milk into the cup as it turned out a bit strong for my tastes. Will cut back to a little over two scoops of coffee next time. Not much into ice coffee but I might try it when the weather is hot. Not interested in syrups, extracts, whipped cream or cinnamon, etc. so will leave that for guests. Machine didn't take up that much space in my condo kitchen which was a mild surprise. Looking forward to saving $ by brewing @ home. AND no K-Ups to buy. Problem with those is that U have to stock different brands, depending on whether U like UR coffee black or need cream. Adjustable brewing FTW any day !!!

Doesn't always brew a full amount. Makes you constantly have to press the start button repeatedly Sensor is off. Constantly have to clean it. Cleaning it doesn't always take off the clean light Doesn't brew 12 cups, about 9 cups is it's max. Coffee tastes good though. Due to it not sensing when it's done properly, looking to replace after a year

Love my Ninja, and it's Held up Well!

I love this coffee maker! I've had it for about 2 years, and it's works as well now as it did when I got it. Very versatile, choose your cup/carafe size without wasteful pods, uses my favorite coffees, delay timer, and great tasting coffee. My only (small) complaint is that the "keep warm" element only turns on when you brew a full carafe. Other than that, I love it!

    Worked great for 8 months

This was a great coffee maker for about 8 months. Then it stopped brewing the selected size . I phoned ninja and was told possible air bubbles. We went through steps and realized unit needs to be replaced , the warranty wants me to pay shipping $22. Then when I do receive it the warranty is only good for the remainder of my first unit (1 year from original purchase date), so that means if 8 months down the line I have another issue $200 down the tubes for a coffee maker last a year. Stay away. This is a on going problem with many owners
