First of all this is a replacement for my Bissell Smart Clean that was ok but was random and never deployed itself after a year so I was looking at the Shark Ion 750 and this one. Caught the Neato for 100 off which was great. The biggest thing I love is this is not random at all. It scans the room and knows where it is unless you move it. Stops when battery is low and charges to finish cleaning no matter how big the house. No side brushes but basically the whole front is a brush. Only had for a few weeks but it's well worth it. Floors are clean. I gave hardwood with area rugs and it has no problem with navigation. Wish I bought this first!

This is my second robot vacuum. The first was from a different manufacturer and stopped working after 4 months. This was easy to set up, works reliably and cleans well without getting stuck. No go lines are a bit hard to get started, I had to try 3 times before the mapping worked. Once it's set up, though, the no go lines are great! The only complaint is that when you clean it, there's no feature to re dock on its own, and it's a bit difficult sometimes to seat it correctly on the charger.

Easy set up. This thing is just awesome. Hit start and it just goes to town! Love love love! Cleans well. Memorizes your house so be sure to have everything picked up, doors shut for rooms you don’t want it to go in. Then off to the races!

I bought this unit when looking for a Roomba. The sales guy recommended this one. I am happy he did. It has a lot of great features. I have raved about this machine. Yes, it gets stuck occasionally. Yes, it needs dumped regularly. However, it really reduces my housework. It was easy to set up and I haven't had any problems. My brother followed my lead but chose a different brand. He is disappointed. His unit docks to recharge when the battery is running low However, it doesn't charge and resume where it left off like this one! He is likely going to return his. I highly recommend this unit. To be clear: this is the first one I have owned.

Just the wife and I plus 2 cats that go in and out. 1000 sq vacuumable floor. Charges 1 time in between, we run it everyday and have to empty the bin 1-2 times every day. Its amazing, we thought we were clean but this boot finds dirt and such every day. Its truly amazing. I would like corner sweepers, it can get stuburn at times, it seems to be able to see the floor and if theres a skid mark it will go at it from every any thing it can get it up. Its very smart, it gets stuck once in a while and looses its connection now and again but I don't think we could have got a better vacuum for the money. This is the d3 pro. Priced at $400 and ask for a price match check, you should save a few.

This item was on the clearance rack, and I was on the fence about a roomba or this brand. YouTube comparisons and this won out. I have 3 dogs and a cat. House doesn’t last 2 days clean. This guys is perfect and easy to clean and disclose of trash. It’s much stronger vacuum than expected. And it does 1000sqft in one charge without a problem. It also created its own map and you can use it to edit areas you don’t want it to go to. App friendly. Perfect device for the money

I really like this vacuum. I wish I had gotten the one with the side sweeper but this one was on sale. Only cons are there is no bumper on laser tower so it gets stuck trying to go underneath certain furniture. The magnetic barrier looks terrible lying around the house. I wish they had something like iRobot. And last, it doesn't vacuum under the kitchen cabinets.

Great vacuum! I like on the app you can draw virtual boundaries so the vacuum won't go into those spots. Doesn't get stuck under my end table. Can vacuum in the dark unlike a few others that can't. I have one on each floor of the house. It's always gone back to the base without getting lost. If it didn't finish vacuuming it will stay by itself after it's charged. Great!

We originally bought this for fun thinking it would work ok and we'd still have to vacuum but it vacuums the entire house for us 3 times a week while we're at work and it does a great job. Super convenient scheduling

A huge investment!. I stay in a small studio just about 372ft2 (wood floors) in LA. I have a lot of dust problems in my apt and tried to clean the dust with a broom but I wasn't seeing any difference tbh. I wanted to try something different so I looked into the robot vacuums on YouTube. I watched multiple Youtubers reviewing them and giving good feedback so I decided to buy one. Based on my research, I was convinced that Neato D3 was the one to try out because the price was reasonable and the reviews online of this robot were pretty good. After two days i noticed how clean my apt looked when i would come home from work, the dust just literally wasn't there anymore. I wasn't convince though, BUT when the Neato app sent me a notification that i need it to empty the bin on the robot I saw ALL THE DIRT and DUST it picked up! and I was blown away, lt was beyond my expectations and ever since i have recommended my coworkers and friends to try it out.

Very impressed with my Neato, it never leaves a spec, gets into corners and is simple to use. Setting cleaning times is wonderful, when I get home the floors are spotless.

Does a great job. Had it for a year. Occasionally it will need to be reconnected to the wifi which sometimes had delays in WiFi recognition but it always reconnects and works great. Had this one for a year and bought a D4 for another floor. The D shape works well and it’s nice to always have a freshly vacuumed carpet.

I've enjoyed my vacuum so far. I had to wait to program it to my house because of Christmas decorations were in the way, I plan on continuing the programing this next week and look forward to it. the only problem so far is having to empty so often of the dog hair,it does do a great job picking it up. I'm thinking if I use it daily that might take care of the problem.

We love our Neato. The only issue was that after 1 year the battery goes bad, but it was no big deal for us because Geek Squad just replaced the entire thing every time. Definitely purchase the replacement plan! After purchasing a high end Roomba, the Neato is definitely superior.

Ok so to access my situation for clarification of why I gave it 5 stars is this. I have 5 dogs, 3 cats, a rabbit , and 2 children. This takes care of all of that and then some. My wife loves it because it works on thick carpet, flat vinyl floor, and the tile in our house. The suction is powerful. It is pretty quiet. We run it at 4am and it does not wake us up.

With a kid and a dog and a wife that hate clining this little friend has become very friendly. The neato clean my wood floor and my mats pretty well. All I do is clean the floor from any shoes or obstacles and this amazing machine will pick every little fragment of dirt form my floor. Thanks neato for making the smartest navigation vacuum ever.

I originally had a roomba that cost more than the neato. I had issues with my roomba and exchanged it for the neato. I can honestly say neato is a far better product with a better price. The neato does a great job of cleaning and is much quieter than the roomba I had.
