Great camera for front porch good picture clear picture

Easy to move from place to place and video is clear

difficult to hook up no instructions to really help the response time for notifying you sucks the thieves would be long gone

One minute delay (NOT a wifi issue). Falls off terrible mount. Glitchy purple and green flashes when doing live view in 1080.

I own a Nest camera, and while I've been very pleased with how that works, I figured I'd give the Logi Circle a try. After using it for a bit, I'll be going back to Nest for my future camera needs. I have a number of issues with the Circle. The biggest issue I have with this particular model is that it's basically useless unless you mount it. The base is not much of a base at all and rather a means for mounting the camera only. This has proven to be incredibly limiting in my situation. I like the idea of being able to move the camera around and use it in various locations; this isn't really possible with this particular model, without buying additional equipment. My Nest camera's base is clearly made for using either free standing or by mounting. Another issue that I have with the Circle is the companion app. Again, comparing with the Nest, the circle app is less than refined and user friendly. For example, I found it to be very unintuitive to quickly skim the camera's recent history to see if there's been any activity. Perhaps this is a side effect of having the battery model, which seems to go into a quasi standby mode presumably to save battery. None the less, not very usable. Finally, to get full use of the cloud features of the Circle, you need to purchase a subscription, not unlike the other cameras in the market. However, each camera requires its own subscription, costing 100 per year. Nest at least gives you a bit of a price break on subsequent camera subscriptions. This cost definitely adds up over time. Aside from my gripes with the camera, the Circle is very well built, and I have little doubt that it would stand up to the elements if I were to mount it outside. Also, the battery powered operation is a great concept, and makes for flexible placement (assuming you don't mind mounting it). Overall, however, I feel that this camera has a ways to go to catch up to its immediate competition, the Nest.

Poor quality. It didn’t let me to set it up. It kept going to the same screen. It was really stupid. Get Arlo !

I really really wanted to like this product but it wasn't detecting movement/people properly or in a timely manner. It also kept disconnecting from the network (despite being well within range) - this was most frustrating. Support was good and mentioned that a fix was coming - I just didn't want to wait and was pretty disappointed that they released such a buggy product - especially when it's a security camera.

I love this little camera. It turns on when it doesn’t recognize something that has crossed his path. I have it set up right by our front door which works perfectly.

I really like these cams they set up easy and look nice. I need all the cams to be on HomeKit and the wireless ones do not. I returned for all wired ones.

I own two of the original Logitech Circle Cams and I'd rate those as a 4.5 out of 5 This product has me regretting my purchase. The mount design is poor The Camera in dim light has issues being able to see the footage It takes far to long to see the camera "LIVE" Very disappointing

Being wire free has its advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantage is that it needs to be charged every few days so you'll have to move it to charge it. The advantage is obvious, in that you can place it just about anywhere without having to worry about cords. It is truly wire free; no plug, no physical connections of any kind. You can access the picture from your smartphone through the Logi Circle app. The live view is very clear but it takes a long time to bring up the live view. The recorded pictures are lacking however. The camera can begin recording when it senses motion. The problem is that it is in battery saving mode when it isn't in live view (and I haven't figured out how to change that or if it would be wise to do so because of battery drain) and thus the indoor picture is very dark. So much so that you can't make out what's in the picture. You can also use it as an intercom, so you can say hi to your pet or tell an intruder to get out. Hopefully the next iteration of this product will make improvements on an interesting idea.

As someone who has a number of security cameras around the house mostly outside the Circle 2 looked interesting. As I later realized one of its biggest assets is also one of its biggest drawbacks. The camera pretty much looks like an eye. About the size of a fist and very solid. Once you install the app on your mobile device, I have an iPhone, configuration is very simple and getting the camera up and running was straightforward. The quality of the image is very good. I had it setup indoors and from your phone you can zoom by pinching the screen. It does record and gives you options of when to record or to not record at all. Remember when I said its strong suit is also its weakness well being that it is wireless it will need to be charged which means you don't want to put it in a place you can't easily get to it. This seems to be quite the inconvenience. I do not know how long the batteries will last but if you had multiple cameras this could be a hassle. There are extension cords to leave them connected to power at an additional cost. Seems to kind of defeat the purpose. Overall these would be good in a nursery or apartment but in a home where you want to do serious surveillance these may not be the best option. Great quality, good looking but limited in their application.

The camera was easy to setup. From opening the box to having it connected to my phone and ready to mount, only took 10 minutes. To view the live view you have to have an app on your phone. The app was easy to find and installed quickly. The clarity of the video is very good. Now to the things I didn't like as well. One, the sound. You can talk through the app to whoever is in view of the camera and they can answer. However, the sound is pretty quiet and I have it all the way turned up. Two, when you are not viewing the live feed from the app, the connection goes to sleep to conserve battery. When I attempt to open it and view the live video again, it takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes to connect and show the video. This is a long time if you are trying to see who is at your door. We have high speed internet and the router extender is only 3 feet from the camera, so it should work very fast. I gave it 3 stars because of the video quality and the ease of setup, but has a slow connection when the camera goes to 'sleep'. I think the camera has good potential and hopefully with some software updates I can bump it up to 4 or 5 stars.

I love this system easy to set up and use . Perfect for my needs. The mobile app is wonderful

This camera has been a headache since we set it up. Getting it set up didn't work right and it is slow to connect the video. Sometimes it doesn't work even though it's about 10 ft from the router.

We've been using as a pretty camera, works great with good battery life
