Don't last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this iron in very good standing. I purchased one a year and a month ago. Doesn't turn on. Already try to reset following the owners manual. Nothing works. Sent a couple emails to chi customer support and nobody give me an answer. So, stay away from this irons. They are good but don't last. Spent almost $80 and now is a piece of junk. Bad customer service.

Big design flaw and awful customer support

In ironing a shirt that the dry cleaners had stuck a small ID label onto, the glue from the label adhered to the soleplate of the iron. We followed the directions in the printed user guide to steam it off but that had no effect. When we contacted Customer Support, they refused to help with this simple question because the credit card transaction receipt we sent them did not break out their product, which they easily could have confirmed with the store. So we went online and found suggestions for using mild, NON-abrasive solutions to wash the glue off. That resulted in stripping the ceramic surface! What a piece of junk, and Chi's Customer Support is awful.
