Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Dyson Cyclone V10 Motorhead.. Please keep in mind that your machine will offer three suction modes for use with cleaning around your home. As a result, we would not expect you to require to use the MAX suction setting, as it is only intended for use with tough cleaning jobs and also provides the least amount of run time, while providing additional power for the job. In suction setting 2 Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 20 minutes of run time with a motorized cleaner head or up to 30 minutes when used in suction setting 1. Without the motorized cleaner head, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 60 minutes of run time on a full charge, making it our longest running cordless model to date. We do make this information available on our web site, as well as in the literature that's included with your machine.
