I have been looking to get this vac for a while and was waiting for the price to decrease to make it a good buy. It has performed as expected. Battery life is around 20 to 30 minutes if you use it almost continuously but if you scatter the use between rooms you should be able to clean the whole house at the lowest power setting which is more than enough. You can increase the suction power for a difficult spot and then go back to low power. Highly recommended.

Works great, still find myself wanting to use my kirby on certain things (the flexible hose is great). No battery warning before it just cuts out, you have to eye the battery indicator, and what your doing. Not so sure i love spending that kind of money on next quarters old news.. Really hope the quality and durability stand uo and ut lasts more than 6 years... at least then it will have obly cost $100/ year to own at the $600 price tag with all the attachments needed to repkaxe the old vaccume and accessories (for me, its suppost to replace a bug heavy bulky kirby) so ill wait and see if i get comfortable enough to rid of that kirby

I have owened and loved the previous version of the Dyson Animal. In my opinion the new v10 animal is in a class all its own! The improved battery life, power and most improved waist removal canister is off the chart! Not sure how they could improve this model. We always want mor battery life but that’s not really an issue under 2500sqft. We will be replacing our 2nd older version next year with this new v10 version. Great Job Dyson! Also Best Buy is the Best Retailer for all our purchases so far:)

Bought this cordless to replace our dyson canister. I have only used it on low power and it works great for pet hair on hardwood floors. We can do about 1200sq ft and still have battery remaining. It empties with ease and no hassle. I like that you have to keep the trigger pulled for power, making it easier to stop and start and save battery. The only “downside” on cleaning is the canister cannot be removed. This may be a problem later on with dirt buildup but have yet to see it be an issue.

I love this vacuum it has so much sucking power and is so light and battery last I get everything I need on less than one charge

We love this vacuum! It works wonderfully on hard wood as well as carpet floors. It’s also lightweight and easy to handle.

Light weight and runs great so far, the battery doesn't last as long as published but other than that it is an amazing product

So worth buying the absolute that comes with the fluffy tool. Cleans hard floors SO MUCH BETTER THAN the other floor piece. Definitely worth it. I wish this vacuum had a longer battery or an extra set but.. Im able to clean the house without running out of power but remember that max power is not necessary to vacuum the floor. If u use it on max battery dies at aprox. 10 mins vs about 40mins on low setting which already is sufficient to clean floors and carpets

Probably the best cordless vacuum out there! Had the V8 and updated to this V10 and feel like there’s no comparison.

This is a nice vacuum don’t have to worry about cords. Dumping it is fast and it has good power for a battery run vacuum

Dotson is very light and easy to use being portable. No wires to work around. Does a wonderful job cleaning my floors.

This vacuum is strong enough with a battery that lasts long enough to replace our family full sized vacuum. Our corded 10 yr old Dyson (still works great) sits in the basement is is rarely used because the V10 is so much more convenient. Think of all of the promises that came with the dust buster, this actually delivers all of those and more. You should absolutely consider this as your next vacuum if you are in the market.

This is undoubtedly one of the best vacuum cleaners I have used so far. Light weight yet super powerful. Just love it!!

This thing is light, powerful, attractive and handy. I highly recommend this vacuum or better yet the V11.

It has a lot more power and suction than previous models. It is easier to clean and has larger canister. I love it.
