It works great to grill some burgers and chicken. It also works great as a press for sandwiches. When I made eggs, the eggs just slid right out as I put them on the griddle.

It seems like it doesn't really get hot enough to put good grill marks on the food, but it gets it cooked.

Works well for Paninis but not so much for steak. Does not get hot enough for a good sear.

This is a versatile grill, but it takes too long to get to correct temperature. Not impressed.

I enjoy this item, but tried to also buy a ninja blender with this order and it was cancelled about 4 times for some reason. I tried to order online. I also went into the store to have an employee order the blender, but it was still cancelled. I still don’t understand what happened or why the employees didn’t know why it was cancelled but I ended up having to buy the blender elsewhere.

buttons are not practical to use. The non-stick surface coating weared off in 6 months

I returned the item because does not do the job- the producers were to worried about making something the would make it easy to clean so therefore doesn’t stick, and they ended up making something that dehydrate the meet and doesn’t give that great grilled burn

I returned as I bought by mistake. Wanted a larger cooking surface...never opened it up...Friends did tell me it was great...

Bought it for my mom and didn't work from day one.

I have an earlier version of this Griddler with what appears to be the exact same plates. Warping has been a serious issue with mine despite proper use according to directions. Cuisinart replaced a warped plate, but even that plate warped eventually. The warping makes grease drainage a problem, and causes the plates to unclip themselves from the tension. I agree with other reviewers that you can't get steaks or chops seared because the Griddler just doesn't have enough power to reach the required temperature. It does cook fast since heat is applied from both sides, so be careful not to overcook. I like that I don't have to unplug it to turn it off. That's unsafe and can ruin an outlet from the electrical arcing it causes. Overall I do like the Griddler, but the warping issue prevents me from recommending it.
