The Dyson V7 Animal Cordless Stick Vacuum is fantastic. It offers powerful suction and is highly effective on pet hair. The cordless design provides great flexibility, and it's lightweight and easy to maneuver. The battery life is sufficient for cleaning a medium-sized home on a single charge. The attachments are useful and easy to switch. Though it's on the pricier side, its performance and convenience make it worth the investment. Highly recommended for pet owners.

This little thing is amazing. I have a small 400sq ft apartment with a couple of cats and it does the trick on quick cleanup and discreet space saving. I could not store a standard floor based vacuum, this provides both next level Dyson suction (they are levels above their competitors, in my opinion) and the ability to mount on a wall. Mines mounted about 5-6 feet up my kitchen wall and saves floor space and keeps it from being the centerpiece in the room, haha. I love this vacuum, I appreciate the quality and thought in design as well as getting 5 tools with the animal version (4 standard tools, one pet tool), they get the job done. Take into account the battery life... if you are looking to cover a lot of vacuuming in your house with it, it may not be the best solution. It’s great for cleaning local areas around where you keep it, but you wouldn’t want it for regular cleaning around a 5 bed, 2 & 1/2 bath, 3 car garage, and 4 season porch sized-house. :P

Convenient, light weight, and low noise. You have to hold down the power button the entire time. Charging plug is awkward.

Have had this device for 6 months and now its flashing a red light meaning there is a fault, called Dyson and they said it was because the filter on top isn't being cleaned(not the container), my house is all tile and 2 of the bedrooms have carpet maybe 1200 sq for the entire house total, so it's not being over used, I soaked the filter there was nothing in it, she said that they are designed to look clean but need to be soaked once a month. Also never used the device on max. I'm just glad she is sending a new battery but I imagine an actual home that is bigger and has more carpet, Dyson is not gonna cut it unless you want it to crap out on you after 3 months. Super disappointed and will not be buying Dyson again. My 80 dollar vacuum did a better job and lasted 3 years.

We had several different vacuum before and they all get dirty and useless really fast. They are always hard to store away and the extra parts we would always lose and never use. The hook that this vacuum came with is really clean and neat. Is easy to keep this vaccum clean and keep all the parts together. Also, the fact that you don’t need to plug in make me use it more and clean the floor more often.

Best vacuum purchase ever! I love this cordless vacuum! Only takes 3.5 hours to charge and it goes an amazing job of keeping my home clean of pet hair and allergens! I installed everything myself ladies!

This little vacuum is really great. It's lightweight, cordless, and powerful. I don't know how great it would be for a bigger home since it only has a 6 minute run-time on the most powerful setting, but it's good enough for our two bedroom apartment. Because the suction is so insanely powerful, I tend to be able to go through spots just once and nothing is left behind. We have a dog and a cat and this vacuum picks up ALL of their hair around our place. It's the best vacuum I've ever owned. Would definitely recommend it to others. Pros: 1. Super light 2. Easy disposal of dust bin content 3. Super powerful suction 4. Easy to maneuver around tight spots Cons: 1. You can't operate it while it's charging 2. It can't stand on its own 3. Short run-time on the highest setting

Overall it is a great vacuum. Lightweight, portable, maneuverable, and pretty quiet. We have had dysons for years, all shapes, sizes, and prices. our current one is a cinetic big ball animal+allergy. To test out the v7 i vacuumed our family room that had not been done in over a week with 2 dogs using the v7. Then went back over with the big ball dyson. Next to nothing was picked up extra which i was impressed with. Moving onto battery life, which i think is the only con for this stick vac. Reading through alot of the reviews on here this is the main topic. But personally i think people are going in with too high of expectaions. Yes, the box says up to 30 minutes of runtime. Hoewever, that is using the balanced power mode. Which is fine if you have flooring other than carpet. Using this in the max power mode. You will be lucky to get 10 minutes of use. Which to me is fine as i am not using this as my primary vacuum. This will be used for quick cleanups in the house, and as the vacuum i take with me in the RV. Battery life is something to keep in mind. Personally i would not reccomend this for your go to, use to clean the entire house vacuum. But rather for quick cleanups, car cleaning, stairs, rv, and tight places.

This vacuum is amazing the battery life is good enough for me to vacuum my entire house and the suction on low is good enough to get everything that I needed to get up I very rarely put it on high blast but when I do there's nothing that it escapes leaves my floors very clean and my rugs as well all the attachments have been used from cleaning my blinds bookshelves ceiling fans and even my car I am very satisfied with this vacuum

By far, this is one of the best things i own. So convenient, great suctioning and lightweight. The ONLY downfall is that it lasts maybe 7 minutes, then dies. This is the reason for the 4 stars. I use mine daily...and my 7 year old daughter does too! The attachments are perfect for various jobs and they don't clog. I accidentally vacuumed a dryer sheet and it was like dust to this machine. It didn't clog nor interfere with the suction. The long attachment has been gloriously victorious against spiders sooooo... yeah, great investment. ;)

We LOVE this cordless vacuum. Our golden sheds a ton and this is so light and powerful. We bought a V7 Animal which has 2 "suction" controls. We have used MAX suction maybe twice, high suction is more than enough to do the areas we needed cleaned. Battery life could be better, 25-30 minutes, but this is more than enough time to do what we bought it for. This is a light weight, powerful vacuum. The emptying is sort of unusual but we got the hang of it pretty easily. Price was a little bit higher than we expected as we started our research but we would purchase this Dyson again.

This is an earlier version, but it is easy to handle and has plenty of power. The battery does not last long on high vac but you don't need it, Also, many vacs have trouble with newer carpets. This does not work well on the new carpet, hard to move around. we replaced are old vac for that reason-not with the dyson. We use this for tile, vinyl and concrete it's convenient being cordless. At the discounted Black Friday price it was worth the price for a back-up; quick to use.

I love, love, love this vacuum. It is my second one. I'll never be without one. So lightweight, quick and easy cleanup. Strong enough to use in place of upright vacuum.

Easy to use, light weight and very powerful with great suction

This item falls into a cliché, looks can be deceiving. This product looks like its weak and made of low quality, but it somehow shows durability and strength which comes from the material and the quality of the unit itself. It is very easy to assemble, easy to use, and can last (in an apartment sized 735 sq ft.) a few days without charging. That is a great feat. It is being used daily, to keep up with cleaning. So, used many times and still keeps charge till 4 days; this is all on the low setting for vacuum suction-- the super suction setting takes the battery a little lower, but still has effective use for a few days on charge with daily use. Down side, a little over priced. I still gave 5 stars but this could have been a little less money. It seems a $300 item.

This vacuum works great for everyday quick vacuuming across all of my floors (Linoleum and indoor/outdoor carpeting), which is the reason I bought it. I love the fact that it is cordless, lightweight, and has several attachments included. I don't have animals in my house, so I do not have an opinion about how it would work picking up animal hair, but it does not have the power of my corded vacuum, which I use for more heavy duty cleaning. The attachments work fairly well, but the crevice tool is not long enough for use in my car between the seats and does not really have the suction needed for proper cleaning. The other attachments for stairs, upholstery, etc. seem to work sufficiently. The price of this vacuum is rather steep compared to other similar products and whether it is worth the upgraded price or not, I really don't have an opinion. However, the warranty is much better, it has a replaceable battery (that many cordless vacs do not), plus the fact that Dyson is a brand name and usually brand name appliances stand behind their products. That is the main reason I chose to pay the higher price for a cordless vacuum.

The suction on this simple unit is incredible! It is light, easy to use and cleans Fur from the rug much better and easier than our corded, heavy duty vacuum. The array of attachments are great, and ease of use just amazing. Very happy with this unit. Bought the smooth floor attachment as well.

Really like the V7, it's lightweight and very easy to use. Has adequate suction power for my tile floors and the area rugs. So much easier to grab and do a quick cleanup than breaking out our canister vac & no bags, just pop open the dirt container over the trash bag and voila! Only reason I did not give 5 stars is the battery life is a bit short, otherwise, a great product.
