The bottom of the vacuum came out of place and wouldnt stay straight when vacuuming. Also when the bar on the bottom came out of place, everything we tried vacuuming would come back out thru the tube.

Great for dust and hardwood floors

After a year battery last only for 5 minutes and have you have to change it again and again. Definitely not worthy buying it. too expensive for what you get. Really disappointed. Will not recommend.

It does sound like you may be using your machine in MAX suction mode, which after a full charge will provide roughly 7 minutes of run time. This mode is better suited for more stubborn messes or larger debris, and we would not recommend it for your every day vacuuming. Not Worth The Money

For some reason it keep pausing. I called Dyson no anawer the i went on Dyson.com and was told i needed to clean the top filter. I cleaned it only for it to happen one hour later. I do not recomend buying the Dyson 7 or the Dyson 8 stay far away. Get a Dyson 10 or better. Only worth one star if that.

This will be your machine's way of alerting you to poor airflow within the machine itself. Poor airflow will ultimately occur as a result of a blockage, or a clogged filter. One and done with dyson

I’m not willing to buy another filter just to see if this junk stick will work again. Even new the charge only lasted about 10 minutes.

Finally found a replacement from Battery Bill for $76.00. The same battery on Amazon.com was selling for $20.99, but they don't ship these kinds of batteries to Hawaii.

Our cordless models feature a run-time enhancing trigger, hygienic bin emptying, and a variety of tools and attachments to tackle varying cleaning tasks. With regard to battery life on our V7, your machine features two power modes, regular and MAX. Right out of the box, the machine will be set to MAX power, which provides a generous boost of suction power to tackle more stubborn messes or larger debris. In this mode, your run time will be up to 7 minutes. For everyday household vacuuming, regular power mode will provide sufficient suction, along with 20-30 minutes of run time, depending on the tool being used.

However, it lasted less than 4 months. It's been over a week and Dyson still has to respond to my emails about repair or replacement

Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Animal cordless vacuum cleaner has a run-time enhancing trigger. Battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed – it is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. All of our cordless units do come switched on to MAX mode out of the box, otherwise, when not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 30 minutes of fade free power or 20 minutes when using the motorized floor tool.
When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. Dyson Animal variants come equipped with a mini motorized head which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture and stairs. You can also use this tool with the machine in MAX power for optimum pick-up, if you find that standard power is leaving pet hair behind.

Dyson machines are researched and developed in the UK, manufactured in Malaysia and shipped all over the world. Also, please rest assured, Dyson machines are made from polycarbonate ABS which is the same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. We subject them to 50,000 hours of testing and 550 individual tests. All of this to ensure they can withstand a lifetime's hard use.
