I have found that it works the best on the strong setting at the largest size option. Also I have found that pushing the K-cup pod down prior to closing the machine avoids grounds in the brew. This may be due to the altitude that I live at, a little over 6,000 feet.

They seems to break for us every 3-4 years but we go through 10-12 cups a day so I'm not complaining. We do use filtered water - it seems to make the Keurig last longer. Prior to using filtered water it would last us 2 years max.

This one is a bit smaller overall and is much quieter. Controls are easy to understand and use, nothing complicated. My only complaint would be the lid for the water tank. The old model had a sectioned, hinged top that made it easy to pour water in. This one has a single piece top that has to completely removed to fill with water. Aside from that we love this thing!

A Very Good Pod Coffee Brewer
