This Ninja foodi tendercrisp is easily going to be an appliance that is just always on my counter and ready to use on a daily basis. I have used it almost everyday since getting it and it continues to amaze our family. At first we were skeptical because it did not seem realistic for this plastic appliance on the counter to get up to 400 degrees fahrenheit and to cook and fry/bake food! After a few uses though, we have no doubts that this item will continue to be convenient for us on a daily basis going forward. Our family is almost always on the go between work and school, having only 30 minutes to eat and get back out the door for something else, or coming home from work late and still needing to eat dinner. In the past we always had to make the decision to either just microwave something and settle with it not tasting the best but not taking long, or taking the 10 ish minutes to preheat the oven and then wait the time for something to bake and crisp up. That is where this product will come in handy so much. The first thing we put in it to test it out was filling the basket about half full with tater tots. In the past if we wanted to have tater tots or fries with dinner, it usually takes about 30-35 minutes for them to bake, plus oven preheat time. So having that side usually took some thinking ahead of time! Those days are long gone. We put them in for about 8 minutes, at six minutes they were easily able to be eaten, but we wanted them a little crispier. If one wanted they could have left them in for even longer and they probably would have been even better. It was very unique because usually when baking them on a pan in the oven, if you do not stay on top of flipping them around, which we are all guilty of, you would have one side that is nice and crispy as it was the side touching the pan, and the rest of the surface area is just ehh. However this air fryer crisped them all so evenly, it was something we had never experienced before, they were great! We are also impressed with how small personal pizzas in the adjustable rack come out. Obviously you cannot fit a full size pizza in this appliance, but our family has always been a fan of smaller homemade, personal pizzas and this cooks them within minutes, the convenience is unbelievable. The pressure cooking function has also been surprising. We followed the directions closely and our pork chops came out great. Once you learn how the machine works and the process it goes thru, it is very easy to use. We were also very impressed with how easy it is to clean the machine. Especially surprised at home many pieces were dishwasher safe as dishes that are not dishwasher safe tend to pile up in our house. All in all this machine seems very well built and feels like a quality product and has so many different functions and uses it is unreal. I promise this larger in size appliance will be one you want out and easily accessible at all times because it really is something that can be used daily for so many different things. I highly recommend it so much so that before I even had this review written, I had convinced a coworker to buy it.
