Bought this for a Christmas gift for my wife, she absolutely loves it!

When I first opened the box, I wasn't sure what I had gotten myself into. There were 2 lids, a pot, a basket and a rack. Not being one to read the instruction book, I feared I may have met my match. Luckily, I was mistaken. Out of the box, I found it all to be a bit much, until I found the easy cheat sheet. If you know what function you want, look it up, and it will show you all the components you need. My first test was to convert dinner plans, homemade chicken nuggets, into a test of the air fryer. I installed the air basket in the pan and put the chicken in as a single layer, closed the lid, and started pressing buttons. Amazingly, the settings are highly intuitive and user friendly. I set the temperature (note, you may want to pre-heat) and the time, then hit start. The same time and temp I used in the oven worked and the nuggets came out perfectly crispy. My next test was the whole chicken recipe listed on the quick reference guide. I had my reservations about swapping between pressure cooking and air fry, but again, this was pleasingly simple. The air lid stays up, and the pressure lid locks down in place. I set the pressure and time and hit start, the timer doesn't start until the pressure cooker reaches the set pressure. Once the pressure cooking portion was complete I removed the lid, switched to air fry and finished up. The chicken was juicy with a nice crispy skin. I really enjoy the ability to move between pressure and air fry without doing more than changing the lid. You can also lift the air fry lid at any time to check or add in ingredients. A bonus is that clean up is quick and easy, no small parts to dismantle or scrub. The included cookbook is nice and gives some good ideas if you don't know what to try next. My only caution is to have reasonable expectations, I advise not trying to cook a whole chicken over 5 or so lbs, as it may be too big. The same limitations apply to the air fry basket, you will need to cook in batches if you have more than will fit in a single layer. Overall, I'm a fan, I think this is a great addition to the kitchen that cuts down on cooking time and hassle.
