Have owned it for a little over a month now, I use it on multiple different surfaces and overall I'm happy with how it's performed. I also haven't had to clean hair off of the brush roll like I did with my old vacuum.

Never imagine that a carpet could be so clean and soft. This product is wonderful and worth every penny invested in it. Now we enjoy a cleaner and decent environment .. The other models were a burden with the issue of buying filter bags ..

I can't say enough about this vaccum. This is the first vaccum that I have bought that doesn't kick dirt back on hardwoord floors. It is great on carpet also. I love the versatility of the ease of the attachments.

This vacuum works great with pet hair as well as girls long hair. The filter is easy to clean & attachments are easy to use. The only issue with this vacuum is that the cord knocks the pet hair attachment off the vacuum. That's just a minor complaint though.

This vacuum had crazy amounts of suction. It was awesome, but also pulled up my rugs, no matter which setting I used. The suction made it slightly difficult to maneuver as well, since it basically attached to the ground. The hose didn't have the greatest suction and for this reason I exchanged it back for my trustworthy dyson

This unit does a terrific job cleaning our floors- mostly carpeting but also some hardwood. The attachment for cleaning upholstered furniture is really great too. The only negative so far is that it is somewhat heavier than previous models.

I needed to replace a Dyson ball vacuum and I was blown away with the Shark Apex. The suction is exceptional, duo clean system is a dream and the lift away functionality is awesome. So impressed with the Shark Apex.

Easy to assemble, good suction. It has the extra roller, that makes the tiles shiny and picks up long hair and thread, which it then cuts. I quilt and I have long hair, which used to tangle up my previous Vacuum cleaner.

I bought this vacuum to upgrade from my Shark Lift-away Rotator. I don't notice any greater cleaning from this model vs. my previous one so I'm disappointed in this respect but it still does an excellent job of picking up dirt and pet hair so overall I'd give it 4stars but if you have a Shark Lift/Rotator don't buy it as an upgrade IMO.

This vacuum is perfect if you have pets and daughters with long hair that tend to clog other vacuums. It's by far the better value if you're looking at Dyson or something similar. My only complaint has to do with the vacuums' weight. It's a bit on the heavy side to push around on a medium pile carpet.

I bought this vacuum a month ago and we use it every week. Our house has hardwood floors and carpet in some areas so we have seen a variety of functions. I’m very pleased with this vacuum and it’s overall quality. The only very concerns are it’s a little heavy. However, I would purchase it again knowing that now.

This vacuum has performed well after one months use. It has worked great on carpets and hardwood and compared to my old shark. I like the convenience of the lift away canister for stairs and hard to reach places.

Love this vacuum. The suction is great and love that I don’t have to clean hair off the rollers. It is also great on hardwood floors with cat liter on it. Wit the two sets of rollers it does not spread it all over. It sucks it all up immediately.

Very versatile little vacuum cleaner. I’ve tried the various cleaners from Rainbow to Dyson and the Apex is the ALMOST perfect vacuum. The height adjustment switch in the handle makes it easy to go from bare floor to thick carpet quickly. The quick release near the handle makes it easy to use the vacuum handle to clean up items like furniture. The disappointing points in the Apex is that even though the vacuum handle is nice, the hose IS NOT!!! It’s very rigid, not flexible, making it inconvenient when reaching/extending the hose. The other complaint is that the width of the brush is not as wide as other vacuums, so there’s more vacuuming because of the smallness of the brushes. Increase the width of the brushes and get a more flexible, but durable hose...this household would be SHARK APEX fans forever!!!

Honestly i didn’t want to put the money into another vacuum but I’m glad I took the chance anyway. My wife and I love this machine. It is easy to get under couches and chairs and emptying the waste is simple and easy.

The extra front roller really picks up debris off the floor and pet hair on the roller behind that has no issu s with pet hair getting wrapped in in and we have 4 dogs so it is put to the test. Front roller is also great on the hardwood floors.

Unbelievable how much dander and dust gets on wood floors. Once you turn on vacuum and the headlights go on it’s actually embarrassing to see how dirty the floors are. Then like magic the vacuum makes everything shine again

Awesome vacuum. Suction is incredible on both carpet and floor. Cannot believe how much dust it picked up. Definitely recommend. Went with this instead of the Dyson due to the portability function. Very easy to get hard to reach areas with it.

I have bought nothing but Dyson sweepers over the years. I switched to a shark because Dyson has been moving away from uprights. I can say I am not disappointed in the performance of this sweeper. I was afraid of the soft bristles in the front, however, they are a huge upgrade. The soft bristles dust the floor as you sweep, you can clearly see the path of the dust because of the headlights it has, which is a surprisingly nice feature. If you are a Dyson user and still want an upright but not a ball, I would definitely recommend this sweeper. It is amazing with picking up and not tangling long hair in the bristles. It is way better handling long hair then any Dyson sweeper I have ever owned. The 4-star review is because the hose is quite short, however, because it is a lift away it makes up for it a little. I still wish it had a much longer hose, I don't enjoy needing to hold it up to reach high spots because of the short hose. Other than the hose being short, I would still recommend this for everyday use, pet use, or even if you have people with long hair in your household.

This is the by far the best vaccum I've ever owned! I've had Dyson's for years and have had very bad luck with them. I decided to switch to a Shark product and I'm so glad I did! Super easy to use, amazing suction and power!
