Like It When It Works Properly
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The concept is excellent, but this unit still has a few issues. It completes the job and returns to the charging station about 40% of the time. It usually stops before it gets to the charging station, and I have to put it back manually. Also, when it makes it back on its own, it does not line up correctly and can't charge.

IRobot i7
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Love my iRobot vacuum with automatic dirt disposal. It is kinda of pricey, but, to me it is worth it not to have to empty the dirt bag all the time. It takes awhile to map your house, but once that is done just tell iRot where to vacuum, and it just goes to the designated room, and when it is done returns home and empties him trash. At first I bought another brand, but took it back and bought iRobot and I am very pleased.

Exceeded expectations!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have two dogs and a cat and after a couple of days the house is covered in hair. The roomba i7 keeps the house cleaner than it has ever been and is able to get under couches, TV stands, beds which my Dyson could never fit under. Getting automatic dirt disposal is the only way to go. It I didn't have that, I would have to intervene 2 times for each cleaning. Now, I can go 2-3 weeks without having to touch the roomba and that is to dispose of the dirt bag and put in a new one. This thing is a life changer!

Best Roomba I've ever used! I love it and have 2!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product! Love it so much I bought a 2nd one. The mapping on the 7+ is awesome so you can just have it do certain areas, otherwise if you don't care about that get the i3+. I have one of each. MUCH better than the old ones I used to have 10 years ago that always got stuff stuck in the brushes. The removable rubber rollers solved that problem and I love the automatic dirt disposal, really a huge improvement!

Slow to start but works great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first it was painful to watch Rosie learn the layout. It was very clunky at first, ramming in the wall several times, going over the same spot. But after a few runs and some updates, Rosie is working so well! If you have a big house, definitely have the robot clean in smaller sections, it works so much better! I almost never have to vacuum. I usually just go and sweep up some places and corners the robot can’t get to. I have 2 dogs and it does a great job getting up all the dog hair.

Love this vacuum!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was worth spending a bit more for this vacuum. This is my first robot vacuum and I couldn’t be happier. I did extensive research on which ones would the best. And this one has worked great. I have 4 cats and thick carpets everywhere, it’s been great picking up dirt, dust and hair. Sometimes there is random spots it didn’t get all the way, but no big deal. I am real happy with the results it gives. The only downside, it is a little loud.

Never have to worry about emptying the bin!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our 3rd roomba and its the easiest to use. Its a little loud for us, so we only run it when we are not at home. It does a fair job of keeping the floors free of dust however it cant get under small spaces and like all roombas, they are not perfect. Keep an eye on long hairs as they may get trapped in the rollers

Great vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love it so much we bought a second one for lower level of the house. We have a golden retriever that sheds a lot. Which means we have to make sure to empty the iRobot from hair in the wheels and brushes every other day.

It cleans great especially under beds.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first two weeks was a lot of small items stuck in the sweeping wheels but after it was done mapping and we created rules for the cleaning days as cat fishing pole toys picked up and loose thin rugs up and opened doors blocked so as not to be shut locking the robot in a room, were very happy with a clean carpet and kitchen floor. It seems to learn when ever it does run out of power. The reason to purchase this model was the bag empty procedure.

Don't get rid of your old machine!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our first robotic vacuum and we are not overly impressed. After the initial mapping run, the rooms are defined pretty well. Surprisingly, on the very first vacuum run, one of the rollers was sliced. Forty bucks later the new rollers were also sliced on the first run. That's way too expensive each time I use it! Duct tape and glue will have to work. Yes you can set schedules and zones, but it still must be supervised quite a bit. If the map has a missed area, you must remap the entire house? It can see drop-offs and room divisions, but cannot tell the difference between wood and carpet? It also leaves clumps of hair on carpet. Yes it empties itself, but after a job, I still must clean the rollers, wheels, caster, dirt-cup and filter. What was supposed to make our life easier, seemingly just made it more expensive.

i7 + iRoomba
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the i7 + iRoomba! We run it daily and I never see my dog’s hair ever! Very user friendly in terms of setup, mapping and cleaning. It does require weekly cleaning to keep it functioning as it should but even that is easy to do! Highly recommend it!

Highly Efficient
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't know what to think before I bought it but now I'm a believer! It roams all around and learns as it goes. I like that it knows when it needs to return to the charging station and then it discharges the dirt automatically. There is a small amount of noise but that is not at all objectionable. My two dogs don't really like it, but I love it because it picks up all their hair.

Excellent robotic vacuum.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this with an exchange of an earlier model. I'm really please with it performance. It is quieter and has better mapping. It first run took about 2 hours as it mapped each of the rooms I was going to clean. Now I can select a specific room to clean if I wish. I love the emptying feature. Now I schedule it to run and forget. Now cheap but worth it.

Honest pros and cons
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We’ve been Neato owners for several years but the last one died after only a year and we learned iRobot bought them so we looked at this. I love the tower! With multiple pets we had to clean the bin 1-2 times per day. The tower is completely hands free. The sucking power seems stronger, just seems to clean better. The size seems to be better, it doesn’t get stuck under the bed, hardly ever gets stuck anywhere at all. The directions said it takes a while to get your floorplan down and that is very true. I probably would have returned it after two days if that wasn’t stated. But little Fog Horn has it down now. Only two negatives to this product. One, the battery doesn’t last long. It has to go back and charge then go again. Making daily vacuuming take at minimum three hours to finish six rooms. I’m getting used to that, not a deal breaker. Two which really sucks is that it’s lacking the lidar technology that makes Neato so efficient. I’m hoping the merge will marry this tech into future iRobots because everything else is great.

Best Investment
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best investment I have ever made in terms of house maintenance. Now I don’t consider myself lazy, but it definitely has replaces sweeping in my household. Of course I’ll do the occasion sweep in places where I can reach because of furniture, but other than that it is amazing to have

Love this Vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seriously the best purchase I have ever made. I love how I can leave for work and come home to clean vacuumed floors. It's nice that it empties itself. It doesn't hold a charge as long as I would like, but it doesn't bother me. I usually run the vacuum when I don't have a time crunch. The dog hair does get caught in the rollers and I have to be careful about cleaning them out after each use.

It sucks! Literally, I love this vacuum.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With a vacuum cleaner saying it sucks, is actually a complement. My previous vacuum was the Irobot 670. That was a good vacuum but needed constant cleaning. This now one hardly ever needs cleaning. The old one vacuumed in random lines, the new one vacuums in nice straight lines. The new one is quite while vacuuming, however when it empties it's bin it is very loud and it takes a few runs to learn a room. Great vacuum!
