Hoover - SmartWash Corded Upright Deep Cleaner - Green Great

Uh... dunno what to say except for the fact that it doesnt really deep clean? Or im just using it wrong.. Im saying i did my best and i was hype when i got this item. However, its performance is not what I'm expecting.

This cleaner would be great if the brushes were softer. This carpet cleaner tears up the carpet fibers. If you go over the same spot more than once.

Easy to operate and does a very good job cleaning dirty carpet.

It cleans the carpet nicely. Take away a lot of dust. Good for standalone carpet that you can put it in the sunshine to dry out. I purchased this vacuum because a lot of people in the previous comment mentioned that it does a really good job which I agree with. However, it leaves behind a lot of water on the carpet that it's hard to dry out. Especially if you are using it on your home carpet that is fixed to your wood. I recommend you do not do that. It will be so difficult to have that water drain out of your carpet and it's going to damage your carpet overall.

Works well and doesn't leave the floor overly wet.

It’s great deep cleaner for the carpet and it dries quickly. The handle does not have great suction. Overall it’s an okay deep cleaner. Hoover customer service is not the best.

I purchased this mainly for cleaning upholestry. In my opinion, it didn't do the job. I also used on cream carpet. It took a few back and forth motions to get the carpet the way I wanted.

Average carpet cleaner. It ran through water very quickly. I had to stop multiple times to refill new water and dump the old, all while cleaning one room. Easy to use but time consuming.

Works good so far but many bad reviews about bearing going bad so may have to return it if the bearing rust but aside from the faults it is a great product

I've owned a few carpet shampooers in my life and I have to say this is absolutely the worst, cheap plastic parts that break super easy holding on critical parts of the machine that will rendered it useless, constantly needed to be cleaned while using or it would get clogged and/or not dispense water if you have a pet with hair don't even think about buying this the rollers and intake will be clogged instantly (I have an expensive vacuum I use twice a week and robot vacuum cleaner that runs every day my floor was definitely pre vacuumed) it will also generally leave your floor wet, you can't change the amount of detergent you would like to add because it mixes it on its own and water dispenser is also automatic so you can't choose when to dispense only on forward motion (no trigger) I was willing to overlook all of that but after less than a year of owning and probably used it 20 times I would like to mention I completely cleaned every part of the machine that was cleanable after every use, there was a loud grinding noise in the motor then fire and sparks shot out of the back it blew my breaker and my house now smells like an electrical fire and obviously it is unusable (on sidenote I learned you cannot replace belts or most parts in the machine if you needed to so it's made to be disposable) anyways It's out the door #Don'tWasteYourMoney #IWillNeverBuyHooverProductAgain

Some of its parts fall apart too easily when trying to clean the unit. I had to buy a replacement part because of this.

I HAVE HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS and to be frank, it is such junk! At first I thought it was the greatest thing. Then I noticed that there would be a wet spot under the carpet cleaner when I moved it (while I stored it). I emptied the tanks (except for the cleaner) so I didn't understand why it would leave a wet spot. Well I was confused why I was going through so much cleaner. So a month later I finally took out the cleaner tank and held it upside down and saw it just run out of the cap. I unscrewed it and re-screwed it multiple times. I made sure it was "on tight" just as the label says on the container. I even had multiple people try it because I felt maybe I wasn't doing it right. NOPE. DIDN'T HELP. I have owned 4 carpet cleaners in the last 10 years and this is by far the worst. I bought it because I had additional reward points and I truly regret it.

The product does a very good job of carpet washing however after a year of light use the belt broke and there’s absolutely no way to replace it without disassembling the unit which is next to impossible. The belt drives the rollers /brushes. I called Customer Service and there is no repair facility within miles of my Atlanta location. Because the belt is not easily replaced I do not recommend purchasing the item

Works great, but the brushes stop spinning and i cant fix it without disassembling it
