We owned this for almost 2 years. It worked great starting out but it started to leak and progressively got worse and worse. It was not a huge deal when using it but if you took a break in between rooms or did not empty it right away it would puddle quickly. The push forward and pull back to dry was a great feature as well as brushes. It always provided a deep clean which having kids and a dog was very convenient! It was unfortunate that it started to leak as it would still perform fine. But it was out of warranty and repair costs were too great to make it sensible vs just buying a different machine.

I’ve had several carpet cleaners in the past and I bought this cleaner in November. Having 4 kids I usually have to line up a sitter to be able to work on the house but not with this cleaner. It came ready to go other than the handle, just had to easily place. I love that the cleaning solution stays separate from the water tank so if you have to stop you can and just refill the warm water later without wasting all the cleaner. Also love the auto wash feature. Cleaned my area rug in half the time that I needed with other cleaners. Love the clear bin so you can see what you are cleaning up. And, I used this carpet cleaner with the 2 youngest (ages 1 and 2) in the house! Dried really quickly and I used the dry only feature to make sure it was as dry as it could be. But here’s the best part, cleaning of the machine is a breeze! This thing is made to be used and to do some cleaning. Definitely worth the money! Easy to use for anyone.

I really loved this machine. I purchased a Bissel a few years ago but after like 3 times the water extraction nozzle got clogged up with my dogs hair and there was no way I could clean it. It didn't even work that good anyways. So I did away with home carpet cleaners and rented Rug Doctors. What a hassle that was, and when you think about it, do you even know where Rug Doctors have been. I took my chance on this machine. I am 100% satisfied. It is 100% cleanable, all you have to do is take off the extraction nozzle and rinse it in the sink and same with the brushes. You don't have to worry about mixing the solution with the water, the machine does it for you.. There are not even triggers to pull, the machine automatically cleans going forward and dries going backward. It is easy as a vacuum cleaner.

This machine is awesome! I live in an apartment and over the past year I've had some nasty spills and messes staining my carpet, this machine made my carpet look and feel like new. If I have a heavy stain in my carpet I only had to go over it like 2 or three times and it was gone, and thats without even pre treating it with a stain remover. 10/10 would recommend this machine!

Brushes stopped spinning. Glad I purchased the protection plan.

Overall good and easy product to use. Noticed a little rust forming around where roller bearings connect. Not sure if this is normal, lubed with (HT) grease. Will see if this corrects the problem since the bearings and inserts are metal connecting with water. Only have had for a week, used three times and noticed this after removing covers that rollers connect to. Overall not bad. Easy as vacuuming.

Bought this back in 2020 I’ve used it maybe six times and it just burned up on me, I keep it clean. I will take everything apart and I was just using it today and it’s starting to burn up.

When i purchased it i was a bit optimistic about it, but the more i use it (carpets, rugs and vehicle upholstery and seats, i am fully satisfied with its capability. Easy to use and easy to clean as well.

I bought this Hoover carpet cleaner a few months ago to replace an older Hoover rug scrubber, and I couldn't be happier with it. As a busy mom to four little kids, as well as a few fur babies, spills and accidents happen somewhat frequently. This scrubber deep cleans to easily and quickly remove these stains and spills. It leaves my carpets clean, smelling fresh, and it dries quickly.

Works great and easy access to clean roller with out tools.

We purchased this unit from Best Buy in November 2018. It was used for small spills and to clean up after our dog on low carpeting. By January the brush rollers stopped spinning and started making a grinding noise. We returned to Best Buy and they replaced it using the extended holiday return policy. The 2nd unit stopped working in April. Best Buy could not replace this time so we contacted Hoover. They sent us a 3rd unit in May and we shipped the defective unit back. Now the 3rd unit brush rollers have stopped working as well. We replace our carpet cleaner every 5 years but this unit only seems to last for a couple of months before the brush rollers stop working. Seems to be poorly designed. Would not recommend

I received this carpet cleaner as a gift in January 2020. When it works, it's great -- but it rarely works properly. If the cover with the brushes and tubes for the cleaning solution/water removal and/or the receiving tank aren't perfectly aligned, the machine doesn't wash or extract. It takes me numerous attempts to get the machine working as needed. The machine itself then needs to be cleaned, Cleaning a simple spot can take up to a half hour due to getting the machine to work and then cleaning the machine after use. This Hoover was a replacement for an even worse, harder to clean Bissell. I'm thinking the pricey Dyson might be the only worthy home carpet cleaner.

poor quality goes bad very quickly. I got this and I realized that it is very convenient but the quality was poor. I used it 6-7 times in 11 months and it went bad. I got a replacement and used it once. I took this out today and this one is not working either.

Broke almost immediately, no support at all. Waste of $300
