The slightly older and smaller version I have lets you control the heat with no problem. It is bulky and rather ugly. Unfortunately it's still not smart enough to detect when the dehumidifier is on. This is problematic because it's more sensitive than the previous version. This means I can't leave it on auto at all with the dehumidifier running. It makes some awful grinding/tech noise every once in a while. If I can find another HP02 blue one with wifi, I will be returning this.

The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool purifying fans have been designed to deliver a powerful stream of cooling or heated, purified air from the front of the machine. Dyson Pure Hot + Cool units will also offer the option to divert air through the rear annular at a 45˚ angle, creating a more diffused airflow. Also, thanks to the 350 degree oscillation, Dyson Pure Hot + Cool purifying fans can be used to help project purified air around the whole room and may be used to deliver heated and purified air to every corner of the room. Airflow angles can also be customized using the remote control or Dyson Link app. You will also have the option of a Night mode which will use the machines quieter settings, reducing airflow speeds to range from 1 to 4. Night mode will also dim the display and the machine will run more quietly, making it ideal for use while sleeping. I'm also happy to share that you may customize Night mode settings in the Dyson Link App.

The design and technology of this product make this a fan, a heater as well as an air cleaner all in one. I owned one that stopped working after the warranty ran out. Real bummer. Decided to try this again. So far so good.

We really needed a purifier and my wife really wanted this fan. I was unsure but after purchasing it and see how it works i was hooked. The fact alone that it can measure the air quality in the room saved our butt several times. It enabled us to realize we needed to move and we did. 10/10 would recommend

Completely broken to the point where I can't have it in the room without making me up at night. The worst part is that Best Buy won't help fix or send a new unit. The answer I was give is that "I'm not in their elite program and only had a 14 day window form ordering." Unfortunate as I've spent thousands of dollars there over the years... not any more after this experience! They sent me to Dyson and Dyson sent me back to best buy. Now I'm stuck with a very expensive broken air purifier. I've always been a Best Buy fan but have learned it's probably better to buy direct from the manufacturer as they won't back up the products they sell anymore and have a ridiculously short return window (if you don't fork over major money to them each year). Also, google the high pitched squeal before buying this unit — I wish I had. Seems like it's luck of the draw.

Unfortunately, if you live in an apartment complex/don't have control of the Wi-Fi network you use, you won't be able to get the wireless control functionality. Also, even at the lowest setting at night it still makes some sound. If you don't have it close to the bed as I do (I live in a small studio apartment) then it shouldn't be an issue.

Best Buy card, delivery and service excellent. That said, the HP04 is worth the money, really remarkable the difference. Considerably better then the lower price point fans. The smart component is worth it IMO. The lack of app function because of US regulation is unfortunate. Ive liked it so much Ive bought a second. Thk you Best Buy
