It's not as cool as an air conditioner but creates a nice cool air flow. I use it at a rooms entrance with the back facing an air conditioned room. It brings a good cool airflow into the room. Since it has no blades it's very safe around young children and pets. I love the rotation feature and the remote. Con: it is pricy.

I got this dyson for my parents which i will be returning... i was not happy that i was not able to connect the dyson app. The dyson does not have the wifi connection even though it says you can connect it. Also it does not have the automatic function. If you just want it to be simple and just do its job this will be great. But if you want to know the AQ in the room it may not be so great as you cant connect to the wifi or the dyson app link.

Has a nice filter and does what it's supposed to do. So far this is my favorite air filter for the house.

It’s a great gentle breeze which is variable in strength, but at times, I wish it was a little stronger breeze (thus the four stars). I like the remote and the fact it can rest magnetically on top of the machine when you don’t need it.
