So at this point the design is 2 years old. The regular price was at a bananas crazy $180. I got these on deal of the day for $50. So the sound is great. I think my music plays pretty dang good on these. I listen to mostly rock and weeknd. The app with the EQ is pretty cool. Now my actual strange beef with these. So these are for running right? With these on I can’t hear anything in my surroundings. Which is scary. Can’t hear a car coming or someone trying to get your attention. If the AirPods let 30% of your surroundings in even at full blast. These let 0% in. I know this is really great for some, and for others it’s scary. Thought I’d share that. They stick in my ears pretty good. Hasn’t fallen off. I have a huge head and small ears. Final verdict, I give these a thumbs up for only less then $75. Anything over, I give it a thumbs down. You do have to open up your Bluetooth settings and activate. It’s slower. AirPods are the best at that. The sound quality is not bad at all. They are louder then AirPods. With way more bass too.

These days, there are so many choices when it comes to wireless earbuds. Everyone company that makes headphones/earphones is introducing wireless earbuds! For the most part, all the ones I’ve tested so far are all very good as far as sound quality, (Apple, Bose, Jabra, and of course Jaybird). That said, a big part of the deciding factor may come from other criteria such as size, how well they fit and usability. This past week, I had the privilege to test the new Jaybird RUN XT! One of the major improvements over original RUN earbuds is the IPX7 water resistance rating. The original RUN did not have an IPX rating. What the IPX7 rating means is that these can be immersed in water up to 1 meter in depth. The rating scale of IPX 1-7 varies from water dripping on them, to being splashed with water and with 7, being immersed in water. Included in the box: 2 earbuds, 3 sizes of fittings, a USB cable and a charging case that resembles a giant pill. This charging case stores your earbuds and provides an additional 8 hours of charging time for a total of up to 12 hours! Setup: These earphones are very easy to setup, just like any other bluetooth device, you simply pair it to your phone. However, these can only be paired to one device at a time. If it’s connected to my iPad, I would have to manually disconnect it. Downloading the JayBird App will allow you to customize the sound, there are some sound presets or you can create your own sound profile. I found this app to be a must have as the sound quality out of the box was flat. With the app, you can “customize” your button settings. It’s basically standard mode, where you can use the buttons on the left and right earbuds to control music and use Siri for use to control volume. Not the most robust customization but good to have an option. I chose to leave it in default mode and use my physical phone buttons to control the volume. The app also has a “Find My Buds” feature that allows you to locate your earbuds if you misplace them. Usability: Each earbud comes with 3 outer and 3 inner fittings. I found the middle ones that came attached worked for me. Also, what I noticed is that these headphones have to be in your ear good and snug for the base levels to sound good. The rubber tip should be almost inside your ear canal. For me, that took a few seconds of fidgeting. The sound quality out if the box was okay, the equalizer settings on the app helped. The right earbud is the master, you can take off the left earbud and put it in the case and the right will continue to work. This is nice when you’re walking in the streets so you can be aware of your surroundings. If I take off the right, the left continues to work until I place the right info the case. Playtime: according to manufacturers specs, fully charged RUN XT’s can last 4 hours. Then you would use the charging case to charge them up again. The case can charge the earbuds up to 8 hours additional. A 5 minute quick charge provides 1 hour of use. In the week that I’ve used these, this seems accurate. When you place them in the case, the 3 LED’s let you know the charge status, green for charged and red on the middle LED lets you know the case itself needs charging. Pros: 1. I like the size of these earbuds, they’re not very large and don’t stick out much when you’re using them. 2. Secure fit - With 3 sets of silicone inserts, finding a comfortable fit should be easy. I used these while jogging and working out at the gym, I did not have any issues with them falling out. After a few minutes, you forget they’re there. 3. Play time of 4 hours +8 hours with the case is very good, the charging case measures about 3” and 1 1/2” in diameter (see my “cons”). 4. Very good sound quality, on a scale of 1-10, I would give these a 7 for sound. Cons (in the order of annoyance): 1. When I’m in a music app and switch to video, such as YouTube, the sound disconnects. I would have to pause and hit play for the audio to come through the earbuds. 2. Intermittent drop out - the left earbud occasionally disconnected on me. 3. Case design: the case, although attractive and sturdy, is an oval pill. For men’s pant pockets, it’s on the large side. Also, I find the button to open the case can be inadvertently pressed easily. When I had it in my gym bag and weekend bag, it opened a few times accidentally. When that happens, all the audio is routed to the earbuds when I didn’t want it to. See my photo for size comparison as compared to another brands. 4. Button placement: the button on the earbuds is on the end of the earphone, to press the button, you have to press it towards your ear, this can sometimes be uncomfortable as the earphones are already deep in your ear. 5. If you plan on using these for phone calls, note that these are mono, the voice comes out of the right ear only. Overall, in spite of the cons I’ve listed, they are very nice and capable earbuds for active individuals. If you are concerned with water hazards (mud runs perhaps) or sweat a lot, these would be the earbuds you want. If the IPX7 rating is not critical, check the offerings from other brands before jumping in these.

To be honest, my preferred earphone style is over-the-ear. But then, there are times when over-the-ear just won't work, like when working out, going for a long walk, or even when traveling. I've tried a number of lesser quality earbud headphones purporting to be good for such situations, but they either don't sound good, arent't comfortable, fall out and frankly, they just disappoint. I've just spent the last couple hours with my new Jaybird Run XT. I really like them for several reasons: They're super comfortable. They are amazingly adjustable and come with multiple extra pieces and earbuds in round and oval shapes and sizes, so you can truly customize the fit to each ear. They came pre-assembled with size 2, which for my ear is actually the perfect size. But if you need a different configuration, it's super easy to replace the surround and earbud to fit your ear size perfectly. Once you've got the right size, the design incorporates a finger that locks (quite comfortably) in your ear, so rigorous exercise won't jostle them out of your ears. The charging case is very compact and charging them for the first time was fast. In fact, you get an hour of play time in just 5 minutes in the case. A full charge from a low battery, takes just two hours. Nice. They're waterproof with an IPX7 housing, so a run in the rain or sweat in the gym won't cause any issues. But the most important consideration when choosing an earphone is sound. In this respect, these puppies really shine. Jaybird has an app you can download from your Android or Apple store, with videos on how to adjust the size perfectly and a simple, but very effective equalizer you can customize to your preference. Or you can choose from several preset equalization options or create your own equalization presets. Personally, for my listening needs, the flat setting was great out of the box. And that's in my humble opinion, the mark of a really good headphone in the first place. Operating these couldn't be easier. They're immediately ready to pair and can be paired before you even take them out of the charging case. Just tap the Bluetooth setting on your device, Jaybird Run immediately appears, tap it and voila, you're paired. Directions are provided on how to pair with another device so you can pair them with your phone and tablet if you choose. You can of course take a phone call by taping the right earbud to answer, then tap it again to end the call. A tap on the left earbud and you can access Siri or Google Assistant. And to skip to the next song or decline a call, just double tap the right earbud. I would have given these a full five stars, but the only reason I didn't is you get just 4 hours of play time on a single charge. The charging case will recharge them twice more without having to charge the case, but even lesser Bluetooth earbuds these days are offering longer play times without needing to charge again. Apple AirPods offer 5 hours of play on a single charge, and are in the same price range. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the Jaybird Run XT. They sound terrific, are well made, are super comfortable and should provide many hours of great listening, whether on a couch or the elliptical at the gym.

Sweat and Waterproof with a 4-hour play time and quick charge case providing 2 full charges, the Jaybird RUN XT is a true wireless headphone; and with the many interchangeable cushioning parts it becomes a true wireless sports headphone. It took a couple of adjustments for me to find the right silicone ear gels (oval and round available) and fin, but when I did, I found these to be very comfortable and secure in my ear. There are four choices to choose from. The headphones paired easily with my iPad, iPhone and iWatch and are made to be compatible with any Bluetooth device including iPod touch, Android, Windows, Blackberry, Android Wear Smartwatches, PC, Mac and gaming devices. After pairing, I downloaded the Jaybird app which I found to be extensive. It not only has a feature to help you find your Jaybirds if needed, but it also allows full customization for listening preference with the use of an EQ. There are also 8 presets and 12 different genres from which to choose. The app offers ongoing podcast from runners which also helps make it an interactive, current app. The charging case is compact and gives two full recharges to your earbuds. The percentage of charge left is announced when you place the earbuds in your ears, and they are turned on. Five minutes of charging provides 1 hour of playing time. The earbuds start charging as soon as you place them in the charging case and close the lid. When the green LED pulses, the earbuds are charging and when it turns solid green, the earbuds are fully charged. They are marked as either left or right. A better design feature would have been to attach the charging cord permanently to the case. This design makes it something else to keep up if I charge the case other than in my home office. But I do like the feature that if the buds are removed and not placed immediately in the charging case, they will automatically turn off within 30 minutes. Controlling the earbuds is also easy. Removing them from the case will turn them on and returning them to the case will turn them off. They can also both be manually turned on or off. Manually turning them both off can be done by pressing for 3 seconds on either bud, whereas a single press on each bud will turn them on (not jointly as the off button works). The feature I like most about these headphones is that it is so easy to take calls and control music on the run. There is a built-in microphone in the right earbud and when making or receiving calls, the right earbud switches to single or mono mode. I really like this feature because I am most often multi-tasking. The button on the left can activate Siri or Google Assistant with a single press. A single press on the right bud will play/pause/accept or end a call. A simple double press on the right bud will skip forward or decline a call. These are very simple commands to offer such convenience. After I had used the earbuds for a few days, I was in an area where surrounding technology caused them to lose their Bluetooth pairing and when I re-paired them to my phone, I seemed to have minimal but noticeable distortion and audio issues. I did a hard reset once and a soft reset once which seems to have eliminated all the problems. The soft reset is simple to execute and only requires that the right earbud be placed into the charging case and the lid closed. When the case is reopened, the soft reset has been performed. A hard reset involves turning the right earbud off for 3 seconds, then holding that button down for six seconds until the LED flashed green. After this the button must be pressed twice. The LED will then flash orange and the earbud will turn itself off. At this point the earbuds have been totally reset. So, if you run into any issues at all, you should perform a soft, and possibly a hard reset. This should allow you to receive the quality performance that these are designed to deliver. To pair the earbuds to different devices, I was able to do so by following the first two steps of the hard-reset process and following the voice prompt. I would recommend these. They stay securely in my ears and are very comfortable and easy to use. The headphones do lack any noise cancelling, but with the low harmonic distortion of 5%, the stereo sound is still premium.

There must have been an update or to the Jaybird Run Xt's. They are 2-3 times louder than my first gen run's. I unpaired them from my iphone because they showed up as 2 Run XT's in the bluetooth profile. I went to the Jaybird app to play around with the equalizer settings and the volume is extremely loud. My volume is usually 60-70%, but now I have them at 50% of max volume.

    A missed opportunity by JayBird

My daily drivers for headphones right now is a pair of JayBird Tarah Pro earbuds. They deliver great audio in a comfortable package and provide more battery life than I can run through in a given day, listening to music. But they aren't "true wireless" earbuds, since they have a wire connecting each ear, with a control panel near one side. Because of that, I was really excited to try the JayBird Run XTs since they are a true wireless set, with nothing but my head connecting each ear. I also tried another pair of true wireless earbuds not long ago that left me disappointed after experiencing a decent product package marred by merely average audio, and a bit of misleading marketing hype. I dove into these Run XTs with high hopes and expectations, and I find myself walking away, yet again, feeling let down by a good thing that just couldn't pull it together for the finish. The packaging delivers typical JayBird fare, with a sleek black box with a minimalist appearance, and a hard case featured once you open the front flap. The case contains the earbuds and a flap at the bottom contains an accessory bag with multiple ear fins, and ear tips. The earbuds charge when placed in the case, and there is a short micro-USB cable behind another compartment to plug into the case and charge it up. The case itself feels solid and well made, as does each earbud. Each earbud contains a button behind the JayBird logo for control. It could require a bit less pressure to press, but it feels solid and prevents a cheap, mushy feel while not requiring too much pressure that it causes pain in your ear. Connecting these is straight forward, and the JayBird app guides you through the process if you have any difficulties. From my experience with the Tarah Pros I have found that JayBird does a great job delivering a solid user experience in large part because of their app. Not only does it walk through connecting the Run XTs, but it helps provide guidance on fitment, provides tons of configurable equalizer settings thanks to community submissions, and in the case of the Run XTs, it allows you to toggle settings for the earbud buttons. Once connected and adjusted for proper fitment, I found them to be comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and I was able to consistently place them back into a comfortable position each time I removed them. My ears are most comfortable with the size 2 fins and tips, but there are 3 other options, including some new oval tips to help fit a variety of ear shapes and sizes. The packaging advertises 4 hours of run time plus an additional 8 hours of charge out of the case. I appreciate that they didn't lump it all into one advertised "12 hours of runtime" label like I have seen on other packaging. To test this battery claim, I set these up with continuous playback at a moderate audio level, which was just loud enough I could hear the music when they sat on the desk, and they ran from 10:33am until 3:03pm, for a total 4.5 hours of runtime. I didn't test the charge level of the case, but I would expect the charge capacity to be on par with the advertised 8 hours based on the earbuds exceeding claims. Audio quality was as expected based on previous JayBird experience. I found the sound quality to be very good, though a bit flat out of the box. As mentioned, the JayBird app provides enough equalizer settings to appeal to various tastes of music or listening preferences. Though you have to connect to a mobile device to change this setting through the app, it still provides a level of customization and flexibility not available on less expensive sets. When compared to the Tarah Pros, I think the Tarahs sound a bit better, but these still sound above average for earbuds and delivered really good sound quality. I also found call quality to be quite clear and no one reported issues hearing me on the microphone. Many times phone calls can sound like you're in a tunnel when talking on earbuds like these, but I found them to be very acceptable for phone calls, though it does operate only through the right ear. Unfortunately, as good as these fit and sound, there are some fatal flaws that bug me too much to fully enjoy these. Especially because they could be so much better. First, I have tested cheaper pairs of true wireless earbuds that have a charging case that includes an attached cable that tucks into the based of it so you're never worried about being able to plug them in. When you're working with 8-10 hours of charge time in the case, this might seem silly, but it's much easier to keep track of one all-inclusive piece than to also keep track of the cable to charge them. Granted the cable included is longer than the set I have with one attached, and micro-USB is pretty common. Still, I prefer the other case design over these Run XTs because I don't have to worry when I travel. Speaking of the case, while it's design is nice, rounded, and sleek, it's thicker than the other set, and isn't as comfortable in my pocket. It's fine to toss in a backpack or purse, but I found it uncomfortable in a jeans pocket. Another thing that bothers me about these is the control scheme. Out of the box the buttons on the earbuds control Play/Pause on the right ear, and Google or Siri from the left. A double press on the right ear skips forward in your song list. However, to control volume you have to change the button settings in the JayBird app, which then replaces the single click action on each earbud with a volume up or down control. That means you can then no longer control Play/Pause. I criticized the button controls on the other set of true wireless earbuds I tested, but as hard as the buttons were to press, they at least controlled volume as well as Play/Pause and skip functions. While the audio quality on the other set wasn't as good, the control experience was much better and they cost far less than the Run XTs. The final thing that bugs me about these is something I dislike about the Tarah Pros as well, and that's the fact that you cannot connect to multiple devices at once. If you have them connected to a computer, for instance, and want to use them for a phone call, you're out of luck. Additionally, if you want to change the button controls or equalizer settings and you aren't connected to your phone, you have to disconnect them from whatever they are connected to, connect them to your phone, change your settings, and then repeat the process to reconnect them to what you want. I love the idea of a solid pair of true wireless earbuds that fit comfortably, and have good sound quality, and I had high hopes for these. But the control issues and case design plus lack of attached charging cable keep me from wanting to use these. My Tarah Pros sound a bit better, give the ability to control volume and playback without changing the controls, and last 16+ hours on a single charge. I can also keep them with me, using their included soft case that holds the earbuds and the cable while taking up far less room than the charging case for these. Because of that, I find myself sticking to my Tarah Pros as my daily set, and holding out for a revision of these that addresses the issues that keep them from being as good as they could be. At best, I find these to be good sound quality constrained within a rather mediocre package. If you absolutely need true wireless and can overlook the negatives, these do sound really good and fit really well. But if you don't need true wireless, the Tarah Pros are a better package, in my opinion, and feel better thought out.

My first Jaybird product and I was so impressed with them I went out and bought a pair for my girlfriend. I’ve had a love hate relationship with this design of headphones, but these I absolutely love. They’re comfortable in my ear and they don’t fallout. This is first set of in ear headphones my girlfriend has used and actually liked! The music quality is some of the best I’ve heard from in ear headphones and sound quality from calls is easily on par with any of its competitors. With the Jabra app you can customize the sound or use one of the preset EQ settings. One thing I love about them is when you pull one headphone out of your ear the music doesn’t stop playing. Some people may not like this but I personally do. It’s especially handy when you’re on a call and have to pull an ear bud out to talk to someone, the sound doesn’t switch back to your phone like some competitors will do. It still uses Bluetooth 4.1 but I’ve had no connectivity issues wether the phone is in my back pocket or it’s in the other room 25 feet away. If I had any knocks it would be they’re not Bluetooth 5.0, no usb-c and you can’t use the left by itself. They’re priced right in the sweet spot of the market and the price is justified, they’re worth the money! Even though I’ve never had any issues with my other headsets with sweat while working out, it’s nice knowing these are certified sweat and waterproof. Comfortable fit, great sound and call quality, waterproof and excellent battery life (5 minute charge gives 1 hour of playback). If you’re someone that hasn’t accepted that headphone jacks are dead, when you finally do, the Jabra Run XT Bluetooth headphones should be on your short list when you finally cut the cord!

I am very disappointed in the Best Buy store display. View image. The Vista model earbud was shown as a display with the the sale sign beneath it. The sale was actually for the run xt. The run xt. I got the run xt and it clearly did not have the functionality i desired. I believe best buy misrepresented this at the collegeville store. Very disappointing. I like Best Buy... but this is very disappointing

Great Workout Buds with only a few Compromises

Pros: * Subtle improvements on the already-great Jaybird Run. * Now fully waterproof. * Still sounds and fits great! Cons: * Still no audio-pass through. * Case can still pop open accidentally and discharge buds. I reviewed the prior Jaybird Run true wireless earbuds and really enjoyed them. They sounded great and had a solid fit but with a few small complaints; most notably that they didn’t have audio pass-through and the case can accidentally pop open and discharge the buds in transit (in a bag, pocket, etc.). These Jaybird Run XT’s are basically the same as the prior Run’s but are now fully sweat and waterproof. The fit and sound are the same which is still great. The case is still easy to accidentally pop open. They still don’t have audio-pass through so you have to take at least one out to hear anything other than your music. The regular Run’s that I previously reviewed occasionally would disconnect from the phone or from each other. I don’t know if they changed anything in the guts of the buds, but in over 10 hours of use at the gym, the Run XT's maintained a nearly 100% solid connection to the phone and each other. So either Jaybird improved the connectivity or the firmware just improved. Overall, the prior Run’s were a solid 4/5 stars. The new Run XT’s include improvements and I enjoyed using them, but they aren’t yet a full 5/5 for me. I’ve just had too many times where I get to the gym and the case had popped open and the buds were dead. Sure, a 5 minute charge adds an hour of playback (almost enough time for the gym), but that doesn’t make up for a poor case design. There are now a lot of different choices in the True Wireless category and with each is a tradeoff in the various specs. Some balance toward small size, some toward great sound or long battery life. While these Run XT’s also include compromises, they are still highly recommended - especially for their intended purpose of use while exercising.

I'll keep this short and sweet - I'm very impressed with these headphones - might be my new favorite. Why? Great fit in my ear while working out - didn't feel like they needed to be adjusted or were falling out at any point! I used them lifting weights, on the rowing machine, on the elliptical and even better - I wore them in the Lifetime Steam Room. I leave my phone in my locker and sit for nearly ten minutes in 100% humidity. No issues with the steam. I did notice that I lost the left ear a few times (maybe 3 times in an hour for about 5 seconds but it came right back). I going to charge them up and see if that happens again....this was just using the initial charge that they came with! Also - really like the app - which was surprising to me. It has an equalizer with presets and you can really tell the difference between them, and it allows you to make your own presets, can help you find the right fit in your ear and works with Spotify to stream custom playlists or your own too! Overall , pretty impressed and plan to use these exclusively for the next several weeks!

When I first put these headphones in my ears, I was a little concerned about the sound quality. To be honest, they sounded garbled and like I had just tuned in a poor reception on the radio. I’ve used other Jaybird headphones before I couldn’t imagine that the reception and sound quality was really ‘that’ bad. So, I readjusted them in my ear and swapped out ear tips and voila — the sound quality improved. I mention this incident because I don’t think users should be too quick to judge wireless headphones. A lot can go wrong with the connection and if you are like me and enjoy streaming music and videos a lot, that connection can also contribute to the sound quality coming through your headphones. I did experience a bit of static sound coming through the earbuds and it never went away. Now, I want to talk about how comfortable these headphones are. I will sometimes have problems with earbuds causing earaches and by relation — headaches. They simply won’t fit me correctly and as a result, they cause me discomfort and sound just doesn’t sound right coming through the earphones. I have tested out dozens of earbuds and only found three sets I really like. I would say 75% of why I like those three sets is because they fit me correctly. I listen to music constantly while I’m working and so I need something that is going to be comfortable. The Jaybird Run XT definitely ‘fit’ the bill when it comes to comfort. The fit gently into the ear canal and the ear wing makes the earbud feel secure without causing an ache. The ear wings are flexible and so they sort of move with the ear’s natural shape instead of being rigid and causing a sore inside the ear (this happened to me with a different style of earbud). One thing I did notice was that I did experience some cutting in and out. This is apparently a problem that the first generation Jaybird Run headphones had, too. That model used a Bluetooth connection to join the individual earbuds together instead of Near-Field Magnetic Induction like many other true wireless headphones use. It appears — even though I can’t back it up with any information from the product designer — that this method of connection is still being used. Because of this, I ended up experiencing a lot of random drop outs and the left earbud just couldn’t keep up with the right earbud 100% of the time. The right ear piece would stay connected but the left, would cut in and out randomly. There was never one certain thing I was listening to that would cause it — it was just random. So why did Jaybird continue using this method of connection when it seems to plague users’ experiences? Maybe it’s because they wanted to guarantee the single-bud mono mode could be used. I do rather like this feature because I am still able to enjoy having the full features of the earbuds while being able to interact with people around me because I can hear them through my left ear. That said, I didn’t enjoy the cutting in and out part and I feel that since this was an issue with the first generation earbuds that it should have probably been remedied with this updated product. It feel strange to say, but with the exception of the drop-out problem, these earbuds are pretty close to perfect for me. They fit securely in my ears — never felt lose while I was using them — provided a consistently good sound, and come equipped with a charging case. I found the Jaybird Run XT Headphones to be incredibly comfortable even after hours of listening and the audio quality was above average no matter what I was listening to. I did use the app, but sort of found it to be subpar and not entirely necessary. I liked the EQ presets that were included in the app, but other than that, I really didn’t see it as a needed support app. The Jaybird Run XT have a pretty high retail price tag — especially with the drop out problem — but they are a quality set of headphones.

Easy to set up and use. They come with multiple attachments, and they fit well and stayed secured once I found the right ones. Sound was good, but not excellent. At higher volumes, the high end which sounded good at medium levels started to get a bit... screechy. Spending more time adjusting them via the phone app may resolve this issue, but one that couldn't be resolved is their tendency to drop the BT signal. First one, then the other ear bud would drop out in turn for a second or so, and while this didn't happen all the time, it happened enough to be annoying. There's no reason they should do that with the phone it was paired to less than 2 ft away. Also limited is there is no way to adjust the volume via the ear the buds. There is a button on each bud and you're limited to pause the audio answering phone calls, and accessing Siri or Google Assistant. This is the second generation of Jaybird's true wireless headphones, and while they offer improvements over the original by adding full IPX7 waterproofing and some different color options, they largely appear to be the same -- same design, same option to use just the right earbud (which Jaybird calls “Mono Mode”). Battery life is also the same: four hours off a charge, with two additional full charges in the case for a total of 12 hours. Overall they are nice headphones, but they seem to be much the same as their 2017 headphones, and while they offer a pleasant listening experience, I find them hard to recommend until the Bluetooth dropout issue is resolved.

However ; when I do sweat - they tend to start easing out of my ear. I’ve played around with the optional attachments and tried to fit it in differently in my ear- still feels like it wants to slip out. This I can’t get that noise cancelling . They are great for staying charged . The sound quality is superb. And at least they are waterproof. As a fitness professional , it’s important to me that when I’m either creating a class or a workout I have my jams motivating and inspiring me. These earbuds are easy to use and the app is awesome !

These earbuds work great with good clear sound. They block outside sounds really well. I have not had any problems with them coming out of my ear when I jog or playing around with the dogs. They handle moisture well and they have a good battery life but the app takes some getting used to. The biggest problem I have with these earbuds is that if you want to use just one bud for phone calls, you can only use the right side individually. My sons both have JLabs and they can use either ear for phone calls and they didn't pay nearly as much as these Jaybirds cost! These are good but for my needs, I should have went with the much cheaper JLabs.

I bought these earbuds with the hope that they would outperform the Apple Airpods, but unfortunately they didn't. I don't normally waste time writing reviews but I feel that my experience would add some value to another potential customer as they are reviewing options. I honestly think the sound quality is pretty good, the comfort (once you pick the right wing & rubber) is pretty awesome, and the voice recognition is pretty incredible too through Siri and on a regular phone call. I have an iPhone, and for the first time ever, Siri can hear me clearly with no error in voice recognition. My disappointment is in the connectivity of the earbuds. Very often, I experience the audio jumping from one earbud to the other, and back and forth. For example, I can hear a song from both earbuds, then all of the sudden, I can only hear on the left earbud, then only the right earbud, then back to only the left earbud, then back to the right earbud. This happens every now and then, and it doesn't create the best experience. I have tried resetting the earbuds multiple times, troubleshooting it in other ways, and nothing seems to help. I was hoping this product would be better than the Apple Airpods, especially with the Run XT being MORE expensive than the Airpods by ~$20. It seems like with the airpods, you can hear a phone call through both earbuds, whereas the Run XT you will hear only from the right earbud.

Third times a charm! I started with two different brands of earbuds before purchasing these and I couldn’t be happier! Best pair of in ear headphones I’ve found. • They fit great, and never even feel like they’re going to fall out. • Very comfortable even in ear for a 2 hour workout that involves a lot of movement including burpees. • Sound is incredible! • Adjusting sound levels through the app was a breeze! I highly recommend these for anyone looking for a pair of earbuds to use for intense workouts!

Sound quality is good. Very comfortable in ears for hours. Does not fall off. Being not completely noise cancelling is actually useful in not being shut out of surrounding conversation. You can also wear only right side for phone conversation. Left side is optional. Very easy to connect Bluetooth: right out of charger box. Box very helpful in extending battery life from 4 to additional 8 hours.

Awesome sound with the equalizer app you can adjust how the music sounds, awesome fit, low profile and very comfortable, comes with many different bud and fin sizes. Last about 4 hours of battery life with an additional through case. Case could be a tad more premium but it’s just fine, stay in my ears really well, I’ve owned air pods as well as the expensive B&O Plays and the Jaybirds are by far my favorite!
