On to number three and the disappointment continues. I first purchased the V10 at Home Depot and returned it because the brush bar stopped working. Several months later, we decided to give this highly rated vacuum another try and purchased the V10 again. This time from Best Buy and purchased the extended warranty. Within a year, we returned it because it had the same issue with the brush bar. Because I had received store credit, I decided to purchase the V11 instead. However, the disappointment continues. The new V11 had to be replaced due to issues with the motor. When the new machine came, it did not charge, so I called Dyson's customer support again, and now I am waiting for a charger. Not worth the cost.

You have to press the power button with your thumb the whole time you're using it, which is crazy. It also doesn't stand up by itself. I ended up buying a Miele, which has better features for a couple hundred dollars less.

Not good service from the Geek squad at the store.

Best buy basically told me its not there problem to contact Dyson. I pay a fortune for total tech which advertises it covers everything. Guess what it does not. That is the only reason I buy from BB. I will be checking other places to buy from. Yes I would recommend the machine just not from BB.

Horrible vacuum

First time I called they insisted it was the battery even though I repeatedly told them the trigger was sticking. Of course the new battery didn’t fix the problem and now I am holding for 20+ minutes again just to speak with someone.

Makes vacuuming almost fun
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This vacuum is amazing as you would expect from Dyson. We had a smaller older version. This one is so much more advanced, more suction, and has a much longer battery life. It’s hard to say exactly how long the battery life is as it varies dramatically from floors to carpets. The cool thing is, it has a digital readout that displays the remaining minutes and you can watch the time change as you change floor types. It has three settings, Eco, Auto, and Max. Eco is good for most floors unless really dirty. However the automatic is the easiest as the vacuum senses the type of floor and I guess the amount of suction needed, and adjusts the power automatically. This feature is just amazing. The attachments change quickly and easily. It comes with a crevice tool, two small brush type attachments, one with retractable brush, and a small motorized brush head for furniture. All of these in addition to the main full size motorized floor head. All of the attachments can be used at the end of the tube or directly on the vacuum for hand vacuuming like furniture. Emptying the very large dirt bin (for a stick vacuum) is very quick and easy. The only drawback is this one is slightly heavy, probably due to the longer battery life, larger dirt bin, and more powerful motor. It feels heavy compared to our old one, but is not too heavy to be a nuisance. We can easily vacuum the whole home as you really don’t notice the weight when vacuuming. It is more so when handling it like putting it on and taking it off it holder/charger. It seems to charge quickly, but haven’t really paid much attention to that as the battery always lasts long enough to clean our whole apartment after which we put it back on the charger until next time. In summary, this really is awesome and worth the extra bucks to get the Dyson. Highly recommend this.

It’s not really durable as they say it is.
