I am so happy with the iRobot Roomba S9. It has made my life so much simpler. It does a great job vacuuming, rivaling the job that my handheld vacuum does. It has some serious suction and some great brushes. What really impresses me is the speed with which the S9 is able to vacuum. It maps out your rooms, so it isn't going over the same areas over and over. It is also great at getting corners and floorboards. Due to its shape, it can get right into corners and do a great job. I love not having to worry about vacuuming anymore!

I wasn't sure how iRobot could improve their robots but they sure did. I have had a 600 series for years and it has served me well. This product takes things to a new level. The dirt sensing is active and accurate. I can hear the suction increase when it is over a more dirty area and it will even linger to make sure the job is done. The mapping feature is wonderful as I can send it to a specific area of the house to clean. It maneuvers around most obstacles and under furniture. Even in tight spaces it manages to get in and out. The dust pan is easy to clean and the top load feature is much appreciated. All in all a great product that is effective and easy to set up and use. Well Done!

This is my first time owning a robot vacuum and I've gone all out. I LOVE this thing. It is so refreshing to come home to a freshly vacuumed floor on a regular basis without having to do it myself. I do wish I had the auto-empty tower and I think if it is available for a separate purchase I will invest in it. I would highly recommend the purchase option that includes the self-empty function. The mapping of the vacuum area and dividing it into rooms for specific cleaning is genius. If I need a specific room cleaned due to an unexpected mess, I simply tell Google to have Jarvis (which I named this little guy) handle it. Couldn't be more convenient.

I waited for a couple months to give my review the first vacuum was a dud but the IRobot techs were great after 3 failed attempts to fix it they replaced the unit. Now for the real review the Roomba is one of the Best Buy’s I have made since we have had it we haven’t used our regular vacuum except for shades and things my Roomba can’t get to the mapping and the app are very professional done over all it’s a very well put together unit and I recommend it to everyone

First s9+ worked great until it was time to change out the vacuum bags. After that, it never ran properly again. Threw full bin error codes. I tried everything i could find online. Spent hours trying different things. Got on phone with support and they sent me a new base. Didn't work. They sent me a new bin for inside the roomba, same error. Nothing changed. Mind you this is now like the 4th time i've been on the phone with these guys. They finally sent me a new roomba (looked like it was probably refurbed). Had to remap my entire house again which takes hours. And now guess what? Full bin error code again. I have a $1,000 paper weight. I'm not even sure what i'm going to do next. I've owned it for going on 4 months. It worked for 1 out of the 4 months so far. And i've wasted hours fooling with this....

The squared angles may help cleaning corners, but too expensive if the main "features" are those corners.

The only things worse then the S9 reliability is the software and support. DO NOT BUY THIS.

We have only owned this for 6 weeks and were having a communications issues. iRobot agreed to replace it. After waiting 10 days without any shipping verification I reached out to find out when I can expect the new one. I found out that it is on backorder for 2 months! Something is seriously wrong when you have to wait 2 months for a replacement. I will be returning this back to the store. VERY DISSAPPOINTED!
