||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i have had the 980 roomba for about for or five years, it works amazing. so when i saw the self cleaning system, i was very excited. i first purchased the i7 plus since the 9+ was so much more expensive. i used it for 3 weeks but the suction was no where near the 980, neither was the battery life. so i bit the bullet and bought the 9plus. the issues wit the 9+ is that it is very close to the ground, so it cant climb the smallest floor rugs, secondly the rollers being on the front, it constantly gets stuck on stuff the 980 doesn't which has the rollers in the belly. i went 3 weeks without one full cleaning because it always ended up stuck on the side of a area rug or any string. the roller in the front is a detriment not an advancement. the second my app would tell me the 9+ was stuck i would call on the 980 to star vacuuming and always finishes with no issues. So after 3 weeks, this one is going back too unfortunately. Roomba needs to make a 980 model with the same suction and battery life but with the self cleaning bin. For now i will just have to wait and self empty the bin of the 980.

Best Roomba Ever w/ Room to Improve
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, it’s quite magical. I have no issues with setup, training the smart maps or using the app. It does an impressive job intelligently navigating and maneuvering over hardwood, area rugs and short-pile carpet. Areas to improve: 1) The HEPA filter system. Suction degrades quickly when the filter needs replacement, and there is no sensor to notify when it’s that time. With moderate use, I’m replacing the HEPA filter after just 10 days. 2) iRobot could provide more information on how smart maps work and how to make the most of the feature. 3) Include a longer warranty - two years seems more reasonable than the included one year of coverage from iRobot.

Easy to control via smartphone and smart devices.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We moved into a bigger home, and this seem like an ideal option for faster cleaning. It's been great thus far, I can control it via the app when I'm home and or away. Another plus is the ability to link it to my smart home device, in my case Amazon Alexa. After the first use, it left our home super clean, above my expectations. It also will create a map of your home, after a few uses it will remember and create a map you can view in the app and from there select when and where to clean. So awesome!

Excellent assistant!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have waited a few years before buying a Roomba in the hopes of finding one at a good discount but after a recent move, I opted to combine the Roomba and Braava Jet. I can’t say enough positive things about this set up. The more I use it, the smarter it gets at figuring out the space. Having an entire level of hardwood and dogs, makes it tough to keep up on all the loose hair. This system takes the hard work out of it for me. I actually picked up a second one for my second floor! You won’t be disappointed!

Works like a charm!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up and does the job! I have two dogs and 2 cats. The s9+ model has the power to vacuum! Its also super smart and has mapped my 2000 square-foot home. It will get around every chair leg, under the coffee table, and adjust until every square in is vacuumed. The 21st century has finally arrived!

IRobot s9+ works great!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had this for a month now and So far the iRobot s9+ has been working great! It was easy to setup, mapped the house perfectly and has been vacuuming like a champ! I love the way you can label the rooms, setup the room dividers, and best of all set up “keep out” and “clean” zones!! It works great when you set up a cleaning schedule as well. There is nothing I Don’t like about this robot.

I Robot A.K.A. Mr. Clean
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good!!! This was a Christmas present from my son & boyfriend, But it was something I wanted to make my life easier my whole house almost is carpeted & I have 2 dogs a Golden ( lots of hair ) & a Rottweiler ( so so on the hair ) After a few days of what seemed to be running day & night it finally learned my house & I have it on a schedule now for 11:00 AM every day!!! What I did first was with my Dyson I vacuumed real good & intend to still use once a week just for good measure and so Mr. Clean ( that I named it ) don't have to work as hard & plus the only unfortunate part is it doesn't do steps. ( sad ) wish they would figure out how to make this thing do steps then I would be golden... I did and always do on major purchases buy the extended warranty and after reading a few reviews I may or may not need it but I always like to play it safe. I have had 3 jams to clear so far of bigger dog treats which kinda confused me as to why it would try to pick up something so big as opposed to going around it... That being said I always pick up in the earlier AM all the dog toys and chewys & put them in their bin but how do you tell a dog the floor is about to be vacuumed don't pull out your toys lol... So from time to time there might be something I am unaware of. Surprisingly enough & I am a little confused but it's been running daily empties itself atleast 1 time during it's scheduled cleaning & has been doing so since December 27/28th & to date hasn't told me the bag is full yet, But I also been taking the Golden like every other day while on his walks & give him a good brush out so maybe that's why??? Either way like I said being a little handicap physically this so far has been a charm.

Great Machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is just what we wanted. Does a great job of cleaning the floors. Once set up does a complete job of covering the floors. Do NOT consider the Roomba to be noisy as described in other reviews. The mapping function is a pain; frustrating to get done, required multiple attempts to complete and direction/suggestions are not available. The Roomba does struggle with some of the area rugs particularly those with longer nap. Setting up "no fly zones" works well to alleviate the issue. Would certainly recommend to others.

Love my new robo vac
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really hate vacuuming. That is why I bought this item. I named it Hazel. She will clean any part or parts of the house or the whole thing. She does a great job, not too noisy, empties the dirt into the major bin herself. App is easy to use. You can use her once a week or do just the halls every day. I don’t schedule her but you can. I am very happy with my purchase. She does a thorough job. I can be doing other things while she is vacuuming.

Buyer Beware on this model
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does not pick up dog hair!! which is why I bought it. Unfortunately, I bought from Best Buy and not Amazon where their return policy is 15 days, I unfortunately thought it was 30. So, I am out a lot of money for a product that is not worth $1. I have owned Roomba's in the past and they worked well, but after years of use it started sound like it needed to be replaced. Would definitely not recommend this.

After 10 months, finally a functioning robot.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this based on the experience of friends with a large shedding dog. Since we have no pets, this seemed like a no-brainer. I was wrong. It took 3 passes of the house to draw the map. I partitioned and labeled the rooms, then set up routines. On command, the robot would wander aimlessly about the house, ignoring my commands. Then it would get stuck with an Error 31 message. Tech support told my to do reboots which didn't solve the problem. Then it was a hard reboot which erased my map, so we started over. Eventually it couldn't run for 5 seconds without experiencing Error 31. To tech support's credit, they ordered me another robot. However, it was on backorder and there was a 6-week wait. My new robot arrived, mapped the house, and obeyed the commands. However, it began getting stuck with right wheel errors. It was moving erratically and couldn't extract itself from under tables and chairs. These became more and more frequent until tech support finally sent a new right wheel. Replacement was super easy and now my robot is operating smoothly and as initially expected. Credit iRobot - they stand behind their product. Tech support is easy to get ahold of and super responsive. The main reason for the 3 stars is the pain it took to get here. The technology is slick but either it's not ready for prime time or quality control is lacking on the hardware, firmware, or software sides. However, when it works it does a decent cleaning job.

Must have for people working from home.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vacuum makes life so easy. Once you set up your zones, you just schedule it to run and it keeps your house spotless. Have a poodle and a pet door and that means lots of leaves in the house. This robot picks up everything and leave my wood floors shining. It automatically pull in the trash and let's you know when the bag needs to be disposed. Very little maintenance and I love it.

The best robot vacuum to date
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE this Roomba. I have owned so many different robot vacuums from earlier versions on the Roomba, Neato and D Bot and all of them had their pros and cons but the biggest con all of them shared was the bins got full fast! I have 2 dogs and 5 ferrets so my house is always hairy and the bins filled up after every vacum run, sometimes they would get full before they were done cleaning and you would end up with hair balls all over the place because the vacuums bin was full and couldn't pick up the hair. With the s9+ this issue is no more with the vacuum base, after every cleaning the roomba will dock and clean out its dirt bin, if the roombas bin gets full mid run it will go back to the dock, clean its bin and go back out so you always get a great cleaning! This is truly the closest vacuum that I can say is truly hands off. I have the change the vacuums bags about every 1.5 months give or take but I send my Roomba out every day and I have multiple animals. The app is great and very easy to use and you can create no go areas and section off your house in rooms. You can even go as far as telling roomba which order you want it to vacum rooms! If the roomba gets stuck, not only can you play as sound to help find it but you can also look on your phone and it will show were the roomba is at on your home map! I also got the Brava M6 mop which is iRobots new smart mop, they will actually talk to each other so I can send Roomba to go vacuum and as soon as its done the Mop will go out and mop the area. Overall I HIGHLY recommend the s9+, Yes its expensive but it's well worth the money!

Best Robot Ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wish I had purchased my iRobot much sooner. It mapped my house, I adjusted the map, and made up a number of schedules for the robot to clean certain rooms on certain days. Some reviews commented on how noisy the robot is. I don't think it's noisy at all. It works great! Love IT!
