    it takes forever to vacuum, it take 3.5 hours for 1500 SF. it has a long way to go for artificial intelligence. not worth the money.

    I’m not sure this product was ready for prime time. There always seems to be something malfunctioning. I’m now waiting for my second replacement part from iRobot. The bin was broken out of the box, now after a maddening amount of time trying to get the thing to clean more than one room without it getting stuck on nothing (!), the sensors are now bad and the lid open error is always on. This was an expensive way to participate in iRobot’s beta test.

    If you want to spend 1000 dollars for a “hands free” vacuum where you spend most of the time dealing with issues than this is the vacuum for you. If that is not what you are looking for then I would go else where. I spend more time having to reset my maps because they seem to be forgotten between each cleaning and dealing with errors than my vacuum does vacuuming.

    Broke Roomba

    I bought this on 2/4/21. It broke 3 days later. I called tech support and they said it can't be fixed. Next, they said that they would send a new one with a shipping label to send the broken one back. It's been a month, still no replacement. How long do i have to wait? the bill is coming up on the due date. I don't want to pay for a broken product and hope they keep their promise to replace it. This very frustrating.

    I was highly skeptical on how well the Roomba's performed, I mean how could this little vacuum clean up the floor as well as myself? Bite my tongue I did. The s9+ is a monster at cleaning and making sure you house is hair free. Living with two Aussies...that is a problem. The s9+ lives up to the task and totally worth the asking price for how convenient the Roomba is. I was blown away by how well the s9+ learned my house layout. Using the iRoomba App you can see how the s9+ learns and maps the house. From there you can use the app to create virtual 'no-go' zones and name the rooms. Can set a schedule or just have it clean up a specific room. With two dogs that shed constantly, I have the Roomba go every night so I wake up to a nice clean house. Not having to vacuum every day is time saved and time saved is money saved. The s9+ excels at a ton of things, but what it isn't is quiet. The vacuum is quite loud and the base is louder. Build quality is absolutely exceptional, the Roomba is quite hefty and you can replace just about every part. The base station really is a star on its own, allowing the Roomba to clean itself mid clean cycle and continue on. For me, this is absolutely imperative to have as it cleans itself at least twice every vacuum section for the size of my house and the amount of hair. In the end, is the convenience worth the price tag to you? For me, absolutely.

    It worked great for 1 week. The blower motor quit working 1 week after I purchased. I called roomba and they are sending me a new blower motor within 5-7 business days. I called back after the 7th day and the blower motor is on backorder. It was awesome when it was working.

    After using the Roomba S9 for less than a month, it stopped working totally asking for a reboot that never works! Terrible experience with the technical support only capable of telling me that there are 4 weeks delay to fix the problem. So disappointed and angry for a product costing more than $1,000!!!

    Terrible Roomba. I do not recommend. The parts for it are made thinner and cheaper than previous versions. They do not last. Purchased this product less than a year ago and cannot use it. Keeps giving me messages, close lid or return bin. The lid is closed and the bin is in place.
