Does a decent job cleaning floors

Does a good job cleaning floors after the vacuum picks uo the dirt. You can transfer the map from the vacuum. Dislike is it can only transfer the map if the mop/jet does not have a map. Meaning, if you have multiple maps, you have to delete them all in order to transfer the bacuum map. Id rather be able to add maps to its library. Another dislike is it comes with concentrated cleaning solution but they no longer sell the concentrated solution. You have to purchase pre mixed solution. Overall it does do a decent job especially since i have a lot of hardwood floors. It has trouble getting over things like a small rug or a floor divider that sits between hardwood and laminate floor. It just cant get over that hump even if I put a threshold on the map where it is located.

It's does a good job mopping. However, it's highly recommended to vacuum the area first. It says that it should be used only with iRobot detergent (that's the down side of it, should really be able to work with any soluble detergent... I bet it does). Have to replace pads everytime, bit they are not hard to find nor that expensive. Re usable pads should be available at local stores.

Love this bot. The only thing I recommend is purchasing additional reusable pads. You do not need to always use cleaning solution and areas I never mop like under hutches and cabinets are being kept up. Lastly, this little guy is very quite.

I used a 200 series iRobot for 2 years. It works great and I use it for spot areas and doing bathrooms now. I got the Braava M6 and am in love. It works on a schedule. You can set up spot clean or manually place it and let it run. It takes 3-4 runs of your house to learn where thing are. After that it has run just great. I really like the larger tank for cleaning fluid with water and/or just water. You can get single use pads (2 mopping, 2 sweeping come with) or you can get reusable pads. I went this route and am very happy. My only gripe other than price is that you have to use their cleaning fluid or you void the warranty. Fluid is added to water at 2 oz/tank I found that if the fluid did not leave a film or leave the floor sticky. I am very happy with the and highly recommend this for someone who wants a set and forget it (just add water and change/wash pad )mopping robot.

I really want to like this but have concerns because it leave streaks on the hardwood, I had used the disposable cloths so the microfiber may be better. Will update the review when I have tried a different cloth. I can say it did get my floors clean though

    not at Roomba's level yet

Oh, how I wish it was half as good as my Roomba i7 vacuum! This thing is constantly getting hung up on room transitions or other random stuff, and it's not nearly as good a mop as Roomba is a vacuum. With 3 pets and 2 kids, my floors take a lot of abuse. This is better than nothing, and maybe almost as good as a Swiffer wet, but not nearly as good as a real rag mop or a steam mop. I've also found that it sometimes leaves the floors sticky. It also takes a long time to do a reasonable-size area, even if it doesn't manage to get stuck. We'll sometimes let it run when we go to bed, but between needing light to navigate and - I can't say it enough - it's propensity to get stuck, that's not ideal, either. Give me a heavier one with bigger wheels to navigate those transitions, and better cleaning power (scrubbers? steam? anything?) and it'll be awesome, though.

    The sad decline of iRobot

Having benefited from the opinions of other reviewers along the way, as an iRobot customer of over 15 years I felt obligated to share my more recent experiences with this company. To complement an existing Roomba we decided to purchase a mopping robot, a Braava jet m6, for the specific purpose of the "Mop after" feature iRobot advertises. Upon that command, although the mop is supposed to be able to follow after the vacuum without a separate programming run, in our case it would not work. Despite submitting what we believe was a timely support request, after months of interacting with various support personnel where at each stage the recommended steps did not resolve the issue, iRobot ultimately declared that the unit had now fallen out of warranty. Tellingly, one of the technicians I had talked to said the mop-after feature "works MOST of the time." Meanwhile, the mop has difficulty crossing over nearly flat thresholds (e.g., tile to LVP) when run manually. The flagship vacuum performs somewhat better, although the software remains clunky and often poorly responsive. Previously an innovator seemingly committed to customer satisfaction, iRobot is now a brand to avoid in my opinion.

    Basically a robotic swiffer wetjet

I liked my i7+ vacuum so much I bought the m6 as well. The m6 is definitely not quite as good at what it does as the i7+ though. As far as function, it is basically a swiffer wetjet on wheels. It does do a surprisingly good job of mopping up even larger spills, but the main drawback is that you need to change or clean (if you have the reusable ones) the pads basically every time you run the mop. Also the cleaning fluid tank is fairly small so you will need to fill it often as well depending on the size of your floorplan. The mapping and navigation also seem to be slightly worse than the i7+ even though they are advertised as being able to work together. When you setup the m6 the map from the roomba does NOT transfer over, they are separate maps. I also have noticed the m6 gets 'stuck' and can't find its home base occasionally, which never happens with the i7+

Not a perfect electronic gadget but I've to say as long as you set your expectations, it's definitely a help to your daily chores (albeit, $$$$ pricing $$$$$$$ being a factor). On occasions, it does have some glitches but like I said it's not perfect. As long as it helps me in my daily chores without may failure, I'm happy!

Before I bought the IRobot-Braava jet m6 Wi-Fi Connected Robot Mop, I had purchased the IRobot Roomba 600 Series WiFi vacuum with self-emptying feature. These two devises are supposed to be paired, which is why I bought the mop. While I really like the quality of the AI in the vacuum, I am disappointed in the set up of the mop. It obviously has a lower level of AI and software sophistication. I paid extra for the higher level device and it was not worth it. For example, it took a long time for the devise to "map" the space. I feel like I have to babysit the devise to keep it from going to the wrong way and getting stuck on furniture and carpet spaces. It's a work in progress and requires patience.

Great product to help clean up around the house only complaint is it can not make it over a very minor transition in the rooms so it’s basically stuck in the room if you have a lip i understand it’s to keep it off the carpets but they should let you map the floor with your phone to avoid rugs and know the difference for something costing $500

While I like the Braava Jet, there have definitely been problems. This is the third one I have owned over the last 7 years. Once a wheel goes bad (2nd one) or water won’t flow through (1st one), iRobot (while they tried) couldn’t help. The app also could use some help-the map isn’t shared with the vacuum and had to be redone several times. However when it works, it works great. Doesn’t rub up against the walls like early iRobots did and does a great job avoiding obstacles. Does not squirt water on objects only the floor (great detection of objects).

I haven't had this unit very long or have used it a lot yet, but my first impressions are "OK". It does have some problems docking at times when it's completed. I'll get an error on the app that it couldn't dock but when I look at the device it looks like it's docked just fine. Taking it off and putting it back on the charger seems to cure that. Took a pretty long time to map out my dining room/kitchen/living room/foyer area (in my house it's all connected), but now that it has, I'm looking forward to trying the zone mapping capabilities. The trial size of the liquid included is woefully small. I just ordered one of the washable pads but haven't tried it out yet. Overall though it seems to do a good, pretty thorough job of cleaning, although takes a while (on medium setting). Hopefully newer software app versions will be a bit better also. There are a few YouTube videos which I would recommend watching that review this device if you're interested in buying it.

When functional, it left streaks on my tile, so I only used it a few times. Then received an error 76 message regarding a hardware problem detected. Performed reboots and resets, which didn’t help, Disappointed.
