I was very excited to get this. I have tile and wood floors. I charged before use so that I could get the full experience of it. On first use I was able to clean the kitchen and one half bathroom and one full bathroom. Which was ok, I wasn’t expecting it to last for my whole house on a full charge. I still used a vacuum first over the areas before using this. It’s best used for twice a week cleaning and using like a small wet jet mop in between use. Having to clean the tank out and charging a couple of times during use makes this a task to use. I was hoping for something to use everyday especially in the kitchen, but when you wanna to clean up and get on with your day this is just not that. I like it, and a couple times a week for the whole house is good with me.

We just put new vinyl flooring in our upstairs so this cleaner did the trick in managing the cleaning of the floor. It's very easy to use and the charging unit holds all the necessary parts and chemicals. It works more like a carpet cleaning unit rather than a vacuum. You run one direction and lay the cleaner and then go back over the area to pick it up. For quick cleaning of hard flooring, this does the trick.

What floor you ask, all floors. There isn't too much not this vacuum can't do amazing section and cleaning tools built right into it. I think this is all I'm ever going to buy from here on.

I was very excited when I preordered this, when it first came out. I waited a long time, but was so happy when I got it, because in the past I had good experience with there wet/dry hard floor cleaner. The first one I received, had the display lights for speed, die. They sent a new one, and it leaked, and then the next one worked. It was great until the battery died after about 20 uses. They sent me another one free of charge. It lasted maybe the same amount of time. This kept happening until they said they wouldn't send anymore. I would think a battery pack should last longer than 20 uses. I have read other reviews with the same problem with the battery packs. I applaud Hoover for its initial standing behind their product, but the defective product or batteries are not my problem so they should continue replacing them or solve the problem. They need to work out the kinks. This is not an inexpensive item, I am now no longer a loyal Hoover owner. They missed the mark on this one. Perhaps they should have kept it with a cord. RandD needs to go back to the drawing board. All I know is that I cannot afford to replace the battery 7 times a year!

Much easier to use than a Swiffer mop. Floor dries faster.
