This is very good vacuum that I can see being very reliable and long lasting. The suction power is very strong. I was able to vacuum up trash on the carpet, my area rug carpets, linoleum flooring and my garage floor and it picked it up every single bit of trash and dirt. I have outdoor carpeting in my backyard for my backyard furniture and it did a great job picking up all the dirt on there too. I used the dust attachment to vacuum dirt on my couches and the suction power is very strong. I was able to pick up all the dog hair going over it once at each area. The vacuum is very light weight and you can see the rollers doing the work on the carpet. It made my carpet look so clean. I have 2 dogs and the hair is ridiculous. I have to vacuum every single day. As I was vacuuming, I could see the hair getting picked up on my area rug in the garage. The attachments are so easy to put on and take off. The handle that holds the attachments stays on tight to the vacuum wand. The extension cord is pretty long so I can move through each room very easily. I know its silly to be excited about a vacuum, but I am looking forward to using this to vacuum everything in my house.

My wife doesn’t like it, so I’m the one who has to use it.

Shark APEX LZ602 Bagless Upright Vacuum is a multi-purpose uptight corded bagless vacuum that would be a really good option for anyone who is looking for a vacuum cleaner that is easy to use and capable enough to access the hardest to reach areas in your home. From a design perspective its packed with a ton of features including duoclean technology, anti hair wrap brush, anti allergen filtration system and hypervelocity suction. Which pretty much equates to a lot more power than other vacuums this size has. I think the duo clean technology is the best invention in the vacuum world in quite some time. It's basically a soft roller and a standard brush roll combined in the same cleaner head. It picks up just about every thing it touches on carpet or hard floors. The soft roller is amazing for the finest dust up the largest debris on hard floors. All this is packed into a very light and maneuverable 10.7 lbs unit. Comparable units weigh in at nearly 16 lbs. I suppose it really is the top of the vacuum food chain as the name "APEX" suggests.

it claims that it has hair untangling technology, but hairs get stuck just like any other vacuum. For the price, i hoped for great suction...in retrospect, I would have gotten a cheaper one as it is not better than the regular $90 vacuums sold at your neighborhood superstore

I owned two Shark vacuums that worked very well for several years so, I thought I would try a lightweight model but, that was a mistake. After less than 90 days, it overheated and erupted in an explosion of dust and dirt then it shut off. Although it powers on, there is no suction. I was very disappointed. Also, it doesn't work on shag rugs.I bought the warranty and I have an appointment with the Geek Squad this week so, hopefully I will get it repaired or replaced. A vacuum at this price point shouldn't stop working after less than 90 days.
