Very nice, but not fully illuminated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: It's a very nice feeling keyboard over all. It has a nice clicky feel without being too loud, and the low profile keys make it feel a bit like typing on a laptop, so not cumbersome at all. It has a solid heavy weight to the body, and doesn't shift around & - with the RGB - looks premium compared to other plastic bodied keyboards. I also like having the little scroll bar to control volume easily. Cons: My only gripe is that it doesn't illuminate the shift+ keys (the ones under the numbers & quotation marks, question marks, etc.) so it's kind of annoying to have to look for them or turn on a light when it's dark - which was the reason I bought an illuminated keyboard on the first place. Comparison: I initially couldn't get over it not being fully illuminated considering the high price tag, so I returned it & bought a Logitech K845 which was a standard keyboard but also illuminated & clicky, & cost $100 less than this one. But when I got it home, it was just ok. It had a weird font that made it a little annoying to read. Yes, it was fully lighted, but the keys were high & I had to press down more, so it felt like my hands were getting tired faster. I bought a wrist rest to compensate for the height, and that did help but I couldn't get over how loud it was esp. when working at night. My old basic keyboard was silent in comparison. I eventually returned it and came back to this one. Conclusion: I rebought it with the extended protection plan since some reviews complained about it breaking down after a few months. So time will tell. In the meantime, I'm really liking it.

Posted .Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with the lighting of your G815 keyboard. That certainly doesn't sound right to me. I would recommend, if you're still having the issue, downloading our GHub software and poking around in the lighting options to see if something is disabled. You may have accidentally activated game mode; to deactivate simply press the small rubber button near the top of the keyboard that has a picture of a joystick.

Incredible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been looking to upgrade from my old Corsair keyboard. It's served me well but was overdue for a facelift. After reading reviews and doing my own research I can safely say that I made the perfect choice for an upgrade. The quality is top notch, the keys are incredibly satisfying, and the included RGB isn't wild and over the top. 10/10

Excellent Buy for Keyboard Enthusiasts!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing keyboard! A little pricey but worth it if you’re serious about your keyboards. Absolutely love the clicky-ness of this keyboard, and the shorter keys make it easier to type. It feels expensive and the key cap material is great feeling. You DO need software, however the software is also amazing and easy to use! I use it for my Logitech G920 Wheel and I can use it with this keyboard. It’s very well thought out and you can customize every single key to your liking! The colors are also very vibrant and there are so many things you can do with the lighting. Only thing I don’t really like is that I can’t change the color of the memory buttons at the top but otherwise it’s amazing. Side note: if you do not want to use both USBs to use this keyboard, you don’t! One is just for the pass-through USB on the keyboard itself. It’s up to you if you want that or not. And also keep in mind that this is NOT the wireless version, if you want that, search for the G915. And make sure you choose the right keys, so if you want clicky ones you’re on the right item, and if you want linear or tactile, they are in different listings on Best Buy. To sum it all up: If you’re willing to spend your money on a quality product, I highly recommend this product. And if you think $200 is a little overpriced, wait for it to go on sale, I’ve seen it go down to $179.

Well built
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard looks and feels well built. The leds are super bright. The keys have an awesome feel to them. Not super loud and have enough feedback to feel satisfying to press. I was a little hesitant since this keyboard doesn’t have a wrist rest but the ultra low profile actually doesn’t need one. I am able to use this for extended sessions with no discomfort.

Great for daily use, and gaming....
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly I had no idea what to buy... went with this keyboard, and I could not be happier. I can type easier on it, than my old one. I like the look and feel much better. The unit weighs more too, so it doesn't slide on me like my old one. The main reason I chose this was that I use Logitech for other items, and it's simple to set up. You can set key color for any key not just regions. FYI my old board was the Logitech G910 and it served well, but this was a big improvement for me.

Excellent keyboard, no regrets!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great keyboard, it has the feel I wanted without too much noise! The lights are awesome and I love having a volume scroll instead of relying on buttons. I would prefer cordless but otherwise the keyboard is great.

Great gaming keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a keyboard for my new PC build. I first wanted something appealing and I ultimately came to either the Razer Hunstman Elite or this one. As you can see I chose this. The Logitech was much more pleasant looking but what took me away was the actual keys. I love the low profile keys. It feels like you’re using an ergonomic keyboard but with clicks keys. When I tried the razer the keys were too high it was hard to press. I use this keyboard for daily use and gaming and I love it!

Very Nice Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoy this keyboard. Like the metal look of it, the low profile keys and their operation. My only complaint is that it's way overpriced. It's just a keyboard and not even wireless.

GREAT KEYBOARD, HORRIBLE SOFTWARE
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard feels like a $150+ keyboard. Horrible software, must keep it running all the time in background if you want your custom lighting profiles to work. Otherwise, you'll have to settle on a static/fixed color which is what I've done because I hate apps running in the background while I'm working/gaming I didn't buy this keyboard for the RGB lighting so I don't really care but it would be nice for a company as big as Logitech to offer companion software that performed as well as the product it's intended to support.

Nice looking and functional
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised at how heavy it is. The colors look great and are all individually definable. The G keys on the left have taken some getting used to. I love the volume bar roller in the upper right.

Love the clicky keys and beautiful brilliant bright leds. Also I used the curbside pickup which was very quick! Best keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LOVE this keyboard. Feels so nice... Low profile makes it easy on the wrists (as a programmer this is very necessary). Click is satisfying and low effort fast response. Logitech software for customizations is a bit tedious...

Posted .Hi AStargazer, Thank you for sharing how much you love the G815 LIGHTSYNC RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and well it's been working out for you as a programmer. I understand that the G Hub software can be tedious for customizations, but at the very least it will help keep your G815's firmware up to date. If any issues should come up, here's a link to the product support page (https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039334714) that has troubleshooting FAQs, warranty information, and more. Hope that you found this helpful and that all is going well. Thank you for choosing Logitech. - Richard from Logitech

Great Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Keyboard and does everything the higher models can do. I would recommend this one for anyone that needs something sturdy and programmable while also having a good mechanical fit.

Great keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard is sturdy and has a quality feel to it, no flex to speak of. The housing seems to be anodized aluminum and is fairly thin and compact for a full size keyboard. The media keys are a nice touch without taking up too much space. The low profile keys take a little getting used to but they have a good feel and are quite comfortable to type on. I'd say the switches have a lighter actuation than Cherry blues but still have a satisfying click. I'm not usually a fan of clicky switches but these aren't overly loud. The space bar seems sturdy enough and actuates correctly if pressed on the corners. The G-Hub app is not the greatest but it gets the job done. It's got the usual profiles, macros, and lighting settings which seem to work correctly. The light sync works with a lot of games to give a little extra ambiance but it can be disabled in the app if it gets annoying. If you've got other Logitech stuff it's pretty easy to sync all the RGB. Overall I'm pleased with its performance, I don't have any complaints about it really. I'd recommend a good wrist rest for a little extra support. I've only had a couple weeks with it but I'll update my review after a few months or if I run into any issues.

Fantastic keyboard.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a keyboard with a solid tactile click when you press your keys, this is a fantastic choice. A bit on the heavy side, but has a great build for a low profile keyboard.

Good look and feel; cheap keycaps
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great look and feel. I like the look of the lower profile mechanical keys, and they feel much better than my previous membrane keyboard. The clicks are not loud or distracting. Con: The keycaps are wearing off after almost 5 months of use and Logitech does not have replacement parts. You have to go to a 3rd party for extra keycaps.
