Customers are saying
Customers appreciate the ease of use and responsive touch screen of this 2-in-1 Chromebook. Its lightweight design and good battery life are also frequently praised, along with its overall quality for the price. While some users wish for more USB ports, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this minor drawback.

Great Internals, Lackluster Screen
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Chromebook has some great internals, but I'm very disappointed by the screen. Pros: -The design of this Chromebook is lovely, the dual tones of the white lid and silver body is stunning. -The keys are satisfying to type on, responsive, and plenty clacky--which is always a plus for me as a writer, it's satisfying to hear progress being made. -The speakers are loud, not necessarily the best, but have plenty of volume. -The laptop has got some heft to it, which can either be a good thing or bad depend on your preference. I personally was surprised by how much it weighed when I took it out of the box -It's very easy and smooth to convert it into tablet or tent mode -Bluetooth connections are quick and powerful -It's fast -Chrome OS is pretty great Cons: -The screen. It looks washed out without any depths to hues and the viewing angles are TERRIBLE. Tip your screen back even slightly and suddenly you can't see anything. I felt like I had to have the screen tipped forward more than what was comfortable to even see what tab I was using. -The only way I've found to slightly improve this issue is to put the screen on full brightness, which is kind of like staring into the sun and will drain the battery faster. -The screen is also SUPER REFLECTIVE, any light source will make it even harder to see. I found myself working on my book in a dark room just to see the screen better--which is not an ideal setup for many reasons, one of which being my book is kind of spooky and I scare easily. XD -I'm not writing home about watching Netflix and YouTube on this Chromebook. The washed out colors make it lackluster, frame rates are frequently dropped, and there was some kind of glitch that caused the video to flicker which made it miserable to use. -The track pad...I don't know what to say. There's just something about it I don't like. Maybe it's the material coating it. Petty, I know, and if that was the only issue I was having, I'd overlook it. Despite how I may have made it sound, this is a good Chromebook, I just don't think it's for me. It costs upwards of $400 (for a poor starving writer, that's a lot of money) and I expected a better screen, but it's being outperformed in almost every way by the Acer Spin 11 I was upgrading from (which you can hopefully see in the comparison photo I added--the Acer is the smaller Chromebook on the left) I will most likely be returning the HP Chromebook and look for something with a screen I don't feel like I'm constantly at odds with.

Replaced Win10 to address hacking of elderly user
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent device for our needs. This is going to replace an older Windows 10 desktop device used by my elderly father-in-law who's been the target of social engineering hackers 3 times over the past 9 months. IMO Chromebooks and ChromeOS is the very best way to begin to eliminate this problem. This device is perfect for him as 99% of his computer use is reading/responding to email and browsing the Web. Device startup is almost instantaneous, battery life is adequate for his use. We also moved him from an @comcast.net email account to a @gmail.com account which dramatically reduced the amount of spam he was receiving. So if you're situation is the same I would highly recommend migrating to the Google/Gmail account that you will need to create to use this device. When he's in his home office he prefers to use a large monitor, full keyboard, and house that he has at his desk so we purchased an adapter that the power, monitor, and wireless keyboard+mouse are plugged into (see pic). This makes it simple for him to attach those devices when he's in his office.

Not a bad Chromebook
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to support my college’s students (I am Director of Online Learning at my college). I’m used to working on high end PC’s and MacBooks. Our college deployed Chromebooks to our students. This is a bit higher end. It’s really not too bad. The touch screen is nice. I loaded a 256GB stick in it. If I need to grab something quick or test out our Lock Down Browser. The monitor isn’t bad. The keyboard is Ok. $400 bucks for a Chromebook is a bit high, but I can’t complain. You won’t be disappointed.

Chrome Cellular?
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My pride and joy. I love my Lenovo Chromebook-ey baby. Good thing, I chose not to download a "call/text" app. I'd toss the phone, otherwise! Thanks Best Buy!

Useful product for all the basic tasks
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first time for me to use a Chromebook. I bought this to use with OBDI2 devices for diagnosing automobile issues. It works well for that, but I'm impressed by the overall capabilities to do many other tasks. This version of Chromebook has a touch screen and converts to a tablet when flipping the screen all the way open. The quality of the screen is only fair to good. It's not super crisp and vibrant, but it meets my needs - being a large touch screen and the text is readable. So far I've been able to perform all the tasks needed - from using the Web, to working in OneNote. I installed Linux to learn more about the OS to round out my skills. It "casts" training videos to my 4K 52" TV using a Chromecast device. This is very useful for keeping up with ever changing technology. If the TV isn't available, using the built-in speakers work perfectly fine and are clear with enough volume to hear recordings with weak sound. Battery life is excellent - about 10 hours. Processing power is good with a 4 core Pentium silver N5000 and 6 GB RAM allows me to have a dozen tabs open with no problems. I would recommend this Chromebook. I would give 5 stars if the screen was a little sharper.

Ceramic white Chrome book review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the touchscreen. The chrome book is easy to use and the keyboard is easy to read. It is lightweight and easy to carry. Charges quickly and stays charged for days. The ceramic white color is beautiful. Takes some getting used to but love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Google laptop so it's idiosyncrasies was something to get accustomed to, but it's amazing! It's as fast as any work supplied laptop I've used in the past and the touch screen option is fantastic. You can easily turn it into a tablet and it's still slim! I wish it had more than one USB port but I just ordered an extender and that works fine. The screen could be brighter, especially in a well lit room/ office, but it's a small issue that I can get over. Do not hesitate to buy this. You'll love it. Now, if only it came in rose gold, all would be perfect!

Great all around, apart from a mediocre screen
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Performs well, looks nice and has good build quality, good keyboard, etc. The only complaint I have is that viewing angles on the screen are pretty bad (even by budget Chromebook standards) - worse even than the 2x $200 Chromebooks this replaces (one Lenovo, one Acer). There's a VERY small field of view without distortion. However, it has more powerful internals than most other Chromebooks at the sale price when I purchased, so I guess they had to save money somewhere. Still very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to anyone considering options, just something to be aware of when comparing options. I also worry about the charger - this style of port (USB type C?) started wearing out within a few months on the Lenovo Chromebook this replaces, and was the reason we ultimately replaced it after just ~15 months of use. Hopefully this one holds up better.

Best chromebook for college!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Starts up quick, very light and thin which I personally love my chromebook to be. The color and design of it is visually pleasing and placement of the ports too.The battery life is great I’ve used for 6 hours at the library and wouldn’t even go past half. Overall I have not had any issue with it and highly recommend this chromebook.

Best chrome book I’ve purchased so far!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best chrome book I’ve purchased! Son loves the ease of use (the school provided chrome book was so small and had a horrible picture and connection issues). We bought this one to replace the school chrome book and he’s been thrilled with it. I borrow it to from time to time as well ams impressed with the speed and quality. Highly recommend!

Great device, does the job.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great device. The keyboard layout and keys are spaced out well and easy to get used to. The touch screen is very responsive with no issues. Holds a charge for a solid 12 hours of use. Folds well to become a tablet with zero issues. Great portable device. Would recommend a screen protector for the screen, the glass is not gorilla so will scratch.

Very nice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs smoothly, love the touch screen, its fast lightweight and works just like a laptop would with the convenience of phone or tablet features. Only thing that would make it better is a full keyboard but besides that I'm very happy with my purchase.

Chromebook 360 good personal laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with the Chromebook overall. It is easy to learn. I often Google a question and find answers to assist my learning. I did experience resolution difficulties with the Facebook app and am using the website instead with no problems. For the Kindle I use the side by side screen like a book. This model does not bluetooth to my printer, but plugging it in to print or scan is not a big issue since I use my Chromebook for personal use only. I use a mouse for Sheets, and you can still use the touch screen with the mouse attached. Very pleased with this purchase!
