I think it should take a lot to get a real 5-star product review, and most of the time Apple can be close (depending on how much of their stuff you have to integrate with). I have and love the AirPod Pros for day-to-day with calls, music, audiobooks, and recently been using them on planes for work commuting more and more as the noise canceling is pretty good. I got these because they were on sale and my old pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 (which I loved) were failing, so I figured I would buy these and worst case exchange for Sony headphones if these weren't worth the premium. I watched a lot of reviews, MKBHD had a review and I thought it seemed oversold on sound quality compared to what I thought was really good with the Sony options always, and I was initially underwhelmed and worried I would end up exchanging. Then I let them sit for a bit and settled in and used them for a day or two for my calls/video conferencing and music. I started to realize how much clarity I got without really losing anything. Instead of getting that punchy bass everywhere, you get bass that really acts as emphasis. Vocals are crystal clear. Mic quality is excellent. Comfort wise it is great over long periods. Noise canceling is at least as good (honestly seems better) than other headests I've had. Ambient mode is way better and doesn't have that harsh sound. Only knock on it is if you're doing anything active with them on I feel like the mesh cups do tend to absorb a bit more. The plastic backing makes it a little hard to clean but not impossible. They DO sell replacement ones, so I guess in the long run if it gets bad, it's replaceable. I do wonder the same about the headband material if it will get gross or stretched, but these first few weeks it's so comfortable I find reasons to reach for this headset over listening on other devices, just because I am liking it that much!

The color is perfect and the sound is awesome, my only issue was wearing them to the gym and they kept falling off my head when I did certain exercises basically they are to heavy for my little head. I did return them I didn’t want to waste my money

I love these! My only downside is they fit me slightly big even at the smallest setting so they do move around. But they are so comfy and I love how they don’t hurt my ears

These headphones are amazing. The noise cancelation is very good. And the pink color is beautiful!

Ready to pair right out of the box. Very comfortable to wear for hours. Look good feel good and has quality sound with the hi’s lo’s and bass all in the right place. These are quality AirPods and worth the purchase price.

Great quality and excellent fit - for smaller or bigger heads. Kind of wish there was a traveling case of sorts. We are careful with these because of their price so a case would be most helpful. But that's not a fault of the actual headphones, which are great.

Spent hours at a local Best Buy testing all the different headphones and this was the option by far. Fantastic noise cancelling, great sound quality, and the most comfort. Have had these for a little over a year and they still look and feel great. Only issue I've had has been with keeping the ear cushions clean since they are fabric, but that's a minor issue compared to what it provides.

Its just a matter of team before Beats is fully phased out since no one buys them anymore. These AirPod Max have stolen the spotlight. They are very steep in price, but the build quality and sound that comes out of these, makes it worth it. Aside from the weight, the 9 microphones make these feel like you don't have them on - voices/outside sounds are that clear. If you wear glasses, these will hurt after a while from the pressure. After using these for a couple months (without glasses on), they don't hurt when I use them anymore. I guess I just have to position them a certain way where it doesn't make my head hurt. Do not workout in these since they are not water or sweat proof. If you do use them for the gym buy AppleCare so you can get a quick replacement if they stop working. The "bra" that the headphones come with is absolute junk. I'm surprised apple did not come up with a better solution. There are many sleep docks online that you can get for these and I do suggest you do that. Not only for ease of use but so you don't have use the original case and so you don't have to charge these every 1.5 days. With the sleep dock, I charge my headphone to 100% over the weekend, and by Friday, they are close to 10% left. The sad part is these are still hard to find unless you pay full price at the Apple Store. I definitely recommend these headphones especially if they are at a discount.

These great headphones are completely worth the money if you can afford them. It is easy to adjust the volume, pause/play music, answer/mute calls, and change between transparency and noise-canceling modes. They are great for walks, studying, and overall stylish. A high-quality yet durable feel. 10/10

These heaphones fit great, sound great, and setup is incredibly easy. The transfer of pairing from iPhone to iPad to MacBook is very smooth and easy to change manually if needed. It’s also nice that these can pair with my AppleTV if I need to be on the quieter side. I wish the case had a little more protection and that the headphones had Apple’s Conversational Awareness feature but overall these are a great bang for the buck, even coming from less expensive but still excellent quality headphones like the Sony MX series. These definitely have that native Apple OS feel to them.

Sound quality is amazing and they work amazingly great product

I purchased these headphones for my wife so that we can share the audio during the flight wirelessly. The connectivity for these headphones was much better than the Bose QualityComfort II 35 that we previously owned. The best thing about using these headphones is that there is not a separate application to manage the settings on the headphones. All other vendors need to work with Apple in order to implement this level of ability to control so that there is not a separate application to manage the headphones.

Great product! Could be a little louder!Would recommend to my friends. Bought these for my trip and they were the perfect noise cancellation for the plane, I was able to sleep, couldn’t hear the baby crying, and had music in the background :)

I have been an AirPods user for years now. The AirPods Max are by far the best version to date! They are like having a personal concert each time I use them to listen to music. The ability to switch between noise cancellation options is smooth, and the dial for volume is easily accessible. 10/10 would recommend!

I want to say that it took me about two months of researching to validate the price market of $500. I spent countless hours watching YouTube videos and reading reviews because I needed some reassurance that my $500 purchase would be worth every penny. Every review and video is consistent; this product is about quality. You get quality sound, quality noise cancellation, and overall great quality music experience with the spatial audio feature. I picked these up since my AirPods Pro got killed in the washing machine. I used those everyday and figured this was an opportunity to upgrade. The first thing I noticed was the quality of my favorite sounds. This also did really well with gaming; the spatial audio really shines here. Another thing which I use these for is SLEEP! These are actually very comfortable to wear; regardless of them being “heavy,” they are oh so comfortable when using to sleep. I have a partner who sleeps late at night and likes to keep the TV on, so the noise cancellation just takes out all the sound when I pop in some sleep sounds like rain or space deck videos on YouTube. Only issue I ever had was the Bluetooth (I have my headset connected to about 6 different devices; both mixture of Pc and Apple) there are times I have to reconnect my device by holding down the Digital Crown since it won’t pickup the device from previous connections. Overall, it’s based on what your expectations and preferences are for headphones. This one really just set the bar for me. Also, I would highly recommended trying these out at the very least being that you can just refund it if it’s not something you’re happy with. All out honesty; $500 is a lot for a pair of headsets, but I can’t complain because these headsets have become part of my everyday life. If the price tag is too much, I would recommend sticking to the AirPods or do some research on other alternatives.
