I had my primary laptop repaired. So I purchased this as a back up. It has performed so well, that it has taken the primary role to my home office system. All it needs now is an upgrade of the HD and memory and its king!

Great laptop! Ima a college student and it works great for zoom classes I have no problems! I’ve had this laptop for a year and I’ve had not troubles with it and it runs window well! So far it’s been a sturdy computer the battery last a long time. Kinda wish the display could be higher quality. For the price point over it’s a good value.

Excellent Laptop for kids. It’s touchscreen too and works super fast. After full charge it works for approx 2 to 3 hours .Even after 3 years it’s working as the same speed with no challenge as it was on the Day 1.It’s strong too as it is used by kids it has fallen bit so far no problem at all.

This Dell laptop is a great laptop for the price. I say this because some of the reviews complain of things that are no surprises, nor the fault of Dell. You cannot hold Dell responsible for Microsoft issues or for buying the home version when you want a pro version. Also, you are not going to get gaming quality graphics on a $300.00 laptop. I needed a laptop for configuring radios and network equipment. My primary laptop is a high-end, top of the line laptop. It is fast, smooth, and very easy to operate. I will not be considering this laptop in this review because it wouldn't be fair; it is over $3000.00 more than this Dell Inspiron. I am reviewing this Dell against what I paid for it and what I knew I was buying. As an IT engineer, I rarely buy the home version of any OS. But in this case, I'm not putting this laptop on any network, so Home is fine. The laptop boots in a decent time and the speed of the laptop is in line with what I expect from the specs. The S-Mode is a nice feature for those who want a basic, Internet laptop. I needed to install programming apps, so I disabled S-Mode. Disabling is easy and quick, but is a one-way config. Once you disable it, you cannot re-enable it later. The only thing I don't like is the touchpad. The touchpad portion works well, but the left/right buttons are stiff They're not external buttons, but under the touchpad). It seems a little clunky to me. You can't just tap the buttons, you need to push the touchpad down. And sometimes that causes the mouse pointer to move away from what you are clicking on. I actually prefer a touchpad that has no physical buttons. Now, the touchpad is not a deal-breaker at all. If I would use a mouse, it wouldn't be an issue at all. Furthermore, it is a $400.00 laptop. I don't expect the top of the line laptop for the price. If you need a high-end laptop, a gaming laptop, or one that needs to join a domain, this is not the laptop for you. If you need a laptop that will surf the web, do standard office tasks, programming, school work, or basic gaming, then I highly recommend this laptop. I might need another one for the same reason I bought this one, and I will probably buy another one of these.

This is a good laptop for Work From Home (WFM). It is fast, comes up to the desktop quickly, and it is a touch screen. It does have a small hard drive but you can always add an external storage if needed.

Nice, inexpensive laptop computer. Balances the features it has with its sale price. Performs well, simple to use, has decent memory and I love the touchscreen! Only major downside is it's short battery life, lasting for only 2-3 hours.

Purchased several to serve as loaners due to the COVID-19 pandemic for staff to work remotely. Wish they had options for Windows 10 Pro and not Home version. While the pad interface feels a bit cheap, luckily it is a touch screen so makes up for it. Performance when setting up was great so no complaints so far. After working the past due days on each, no issues encountered and runs fairly smooth and responsive after installing a bunch of work software. Great for the price!

I couldn't afford a big expensive laptop, but I needed one that was large enough and fast enough for me for the little that I do and need. I was pleased when I set it up and realized that the screen was large as my hp, the color was great, and it's very fast! And I can't believe how little I paid, brand new out of the box! When I need another one down the road, I'll et another like this Dell.

I bought it because during coronavirus there was only a laptop at home, and there were two students, my sister and I. I kept this one, and I love it! Has good storage for all my college documents, is fast, it does not freeze and I love how it feels to the touch. The battery life is not long, though. But other than that is a good laptop!

This was my first laptop I've bought, the touch screen works pretty well. The on board graphics are good enough for very light gaming. Battery life is meh and build quality isn't great its not very stiff, but it is upgrade friendly with ram upgrades available along with storage

this laptop has decent features for the price. the dual core ryzen cpu is pretty fast, im sure cause of the 4 threads. the only bad thing i noticed was the cpu tends to run hot at times. im going to monitor the temps. and if it doesnt start to run cooler than ill probably return this laptop.

Very fast I enjoy the touchscreen feature Im giving it a 4 because of the lack of battery power and the bing search engine. Other than its very efficient and fast! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a budget laptop packed with performance and don’t have the funds for a high end laptop.

Snappy little laptop that is great for work on the go. Good battery life and the touchscreen is nice. Suprisingly quick and capable for the price. If you need a laptop for work or school and dont want to break the bank, this is a good choice.

I picked this up last week and cannot be happier with the performance for the price! With 8GB of memory it is perfect for running Windows 10 with mulitple applications open, and the SSD gives it a very quick boot and restart time. The AMD R3 processor is even icing on the cake when compared to the other options at similar price points, and can handle much higher workloads than I will ever put it through. I even love the touch, can't live without it going forward!

This a great laptop for doing school related studies. It allows you to do many things online and stay safe doing them. A lot things are very normal while in “S” mode which keeps the laptop safe from things on the Internet that might want to harm it. As for the specs of this item, they are great and are as promised. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish you may or may not have enough of one thing or another. I will say, I would’ve rathered more internal hard drive capacity but that’s been rectified with a simple external hard drive of 3TB. So now there’s plenty of space. For the antivirus freebe they gave to you as a free bonus, you can’t use it unless you take the laptop out of “S” mode and my phone does not support the app for it cause it has not been updated so that’s why there is a star deducted. Can’t use the free item they sent with the laptop, so you can’t use 5 stars. If and when this changes and an update happens, I’ll come back and update this review. Have fun shopping

I brought this laptop because I need something reliable and fast. I have had to work from home since March and my old laptop couldn’t keep up with my work load. After doing some research I realized I need a computer with at least 8gb and I wanted touch screen which has been helpful. I brought an open box product which I think was a display model I would have preferred to buy a brand new laptop but it was sold out. I would recommend this laptop for speed, reliable, touch screen, and capability.

We bought the Laptop for my 10-year-old as a birthday present. We’ve been holding off for so long on updating her computer needs, this laptop has everything you need plus will last another eight years getting her through high school. The laptop has a perfect price and all the software included she could possibly need - the start up time is fast and we love the touch screen feature. We have two older daughters that are extremely jealous and see ourselves purchasing more soon!
