As a developer who frequently switches between Mac and Windows, the Logitech ERGO K860 Ergonomic Keyboard has been a game-changer for me. Designed with comfort and efficiency in mind, this keyboard is perfect for those of us who spend countless hours coding and troubleshooting. The ergonomic split design with a curved keyframe and a built-in palm rest provides unparalleled wrist support. Before using this keyboard, I suffered from persistent wrist pain after long sessions at my desk. Since switching to the ERGO K860, that pain is completely gone! The improved posture and natural typing angle make all the difference. Switching between MacBook and Windows systems is seamless, thanks to the easy connectivity and dual compatibility. The build quality is exceptional, and the typing experience is smooth, quiet, and precise—perfect for deep-focus work. This is hands down one of the best keyboards I’ve ever used, and I highly recommend it to anyone in software development or any field that demands extended hours of computer use. Logitech has nailed it with the ERGO K860!

Finally! I've been waiting for Logitech to design a keyboard similar in design to the Microsoft Natural keyboard. I've owned a range of Microsoft ergonomic keyboards, which include the 4000, Sculpt, Surface Ergonomic, etc. I've also owned many Logitech keyboards (gaming and ergonomic), but never found them as comfortable as the Microsoft keyboards. I've been using this keyboard for well over a month and must say that I am absolutely please with the comfort and responsiveness. The keys are soft, the wrist pad is comfortable, and includes all the functionality that I need in a keyboard. The only minor drawback that I experienced in the beginning was that the right side of the keyboard is spaced about 1/2" closer to the left side of the keyboard, which threw me off for the first few days. This just required some adjustments because my "muscle memory" had to be retrained. So what do I like about this keyboard? * It's wireless (unlike to 4000 Ergonomic keyboard) * It wakes up almost instantly as soon as I press a key (unlike my Surface Ergonomic Bluetooth keyboard which takes several seconds to wake up) * It doesn't intermittently stop responding when long pressing keys while gaming (unlike my Sculpt, which will become unresponsive for about 30 seconds at random times) * The keys are soft like the Surface and Sculpt * It's a split keyboard design like the Microsoft Natural designs for people like me who've grown accustomed to using this style keyboard * The wrist pad is soft similar to the Microsoft keyboards, but seems more durable and less likely to stain unlike the Microsoft keyboards * Includes a Fn key (unlike the Sculpt), making it easy to use the F1-F12 keys without a toggle switch * It supports Bluetooth (or their Unifying USB receiver) for wireless communication * It can be paired with up to three devices (PC, Macs, and anything with Bluetooth support) Regardless of its strengths, this also goes without saying that the keyboard also has some minor shortcomings. * The gap between the padding and the keyboard is a big enough channel that will allow dirt to get trapped * The padding cannot be detached (nor appears to be replaceable) * No Fn key on the left side of the spacebar (there's only one Fn key, which is to the right of the spacebar) * May take at least a couple days to adjust due to muscle memory being used to a previous keyboard * A little more pricey than comparable keyboards I can't comment on the ability to remap/customize the keys since I'm completely fine with the default setup, but I do know that it's possible. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this keyboard since I wasn't expecting it to feel like my previous Microsoft keyboards. I assure you that if you like the design and comfort of Microsoft keyboards, you will appreciate this keyboard even more. It's excellent for productivity, as well as for casual gamers. If you're looking for a Microsoft Natural keyboard replacement, look no further. I highly recommend this if you can deal with the minor shortcomings mentioned above.

    Worth every penny

I have used split ergonomic keyboards almost exclusively since the 1990s when I got the early stages of carpal tunnel syndrome. In recent years, I bought mechanical keyboards because I liked the old-fashioned feel, but this exacerbated my old injuries and required me to get another ergonomic keyboard. This took a little getting used to, but is just as comfortable, easy on the joints, and fast to type on as the old Microsoft Natural line of keyboards (that's a very high compliment from me). If you already have a Logitech Unifying receiver, you can download the Unifying software from Logitech and connect this keyboard to the Unifying dongle that you already have. If you can use that instead of USB, you'll find a better connection. As with all such wireless dongles, it is strongly recommended that you get a powered USB hub on your desktop (near your keyboard) and plug the dongle into the hub for the best reception for wireless devices on the desk. Some of the keys are programmable, but I only programmed the "lock" key in the upper-right because it seems inconvenient to have a key that might accidentally lock my computer and make me log back in. I don't know what material the palm rest is made of, but it's incredibly comfortable. The wrist rest also cannot be removed, so do keep that in mind. Like some Logitech mice (such as the Logitech MX Master 3), this can be paired to up to 3 devices, which is great as you can use your keyboard and mouse as a makeshift KVM switch and control multiple devices. The keyboard uses AAA batteries, and according to Logitech should last you about two years before you have to worry about replacing the batteries. While making the keyboard rechargeable like the G915 might have been nice, in a way, the AAA batteries are more convenient in my opinion as you don't have to worry about protecting the lifespan of the battery. This keyboard has not yet been added to Logi Options +, so you will have to install Logitech Options to gain full control over the keyboard's features. Does not work with G-Hub at all. The keyboard is admittedly a bit pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion.

This is a pretty good quality ergonomic keyboard. I prefer a slightly wider split which is why my primary KB is a Kinesis split keyboard. Unfortunately, I cannot use that with my work laptop since I cannot install Synergy (keyboard and mouse sharing app), This keyboard is a good compromise since I am able to switch between my work and personal computers via the keyboard. I only wish it were backlit, but that isn't the end of the world since I primarily use it during the day and then switch back to my Kinesis after working hours.

This is the best keyboard I've ever used. I bought it a week ago for my home office and used it the last five days. I type all day for email, chat, making presentations and other documentation for my company. Tactile feel of the device is excellent, pressing the keys feels good, physical use of the keyboard is enjoyable. The keys available are good (no keys I use are missing, not many excessive keys I never use, though some, which was expected with a modern keyboard). Device is all one piece, which is great. Has an on/off toggle which is great, but I always forget to use, says it has 2 year battery life I think, we'll see in a year. Wrist rest feels great, we'll see how long it holds up. I have used a natural keyboard for the last year, but had bought one from Kensington because it only cost $50 and had a key arrangement closer to what I wanted. But sadly that felt cheap. I used it for almost a year before giving up and deciding to replace it. I tried both of Microsoft's natural (ergo) keyboard options in store and both were acceptable, but this Logitech was a clear winner, no contest. I'm really appreciative that the flip up clips to angle the keyboard are on the close side, so that the wrist wrest is elevated (rather than on the far side so the function keys are elevated). This is the correct ergonomic way to angle your hand/fingers. It's funny though, even on the box they couldn't deviate from industry norms and the icon they chose shows the flips on the wrong side. Not only are the flips on the correct side, they have two different size flips to choose from. Way to go Logitech. Great device!

This ergo keyboard is perfect for physical typing and the keys respond excellently. It's great for fingers, hands and wrists (especially ones that have been broken). It's very easy to type fast and so much easier to hit the proper keys. It's also great that it's wireless.

Let me preface this by saying that I very rarely give out 5 star reviews. Most people would rate this 5 stars, but then most people either rate a 1 or a 5. I would give this 4.5 stars if it were on option. Pros: *ergonomic *capable of switching between multiple devices (I have not tried this) *wireless *I find my typing to be more accurate with this keyboard *I typically type between 80 and 90wpm. I did a quick typing speed test with this keyboard and it came back at 100wpm with 100% accuracy. *Matches the MX vertical mouse Cons: *For some reason the windows menu button is not in the normal spot. Normally it is located between the right alt and control keys. For some reason Logitech decided to put this on the top right. I might as well reach for my mouse and use the right click since I have to move my hand up there anyways. *no pause break key *the palm rest is not removable *keys are a bit soft to the touch and I wish they had a bit more of a tactile feel like a mechanical keyboard. *kinda pricy and they don't sell it as a set with a mouse Over all I really like this keyboard and I am torn between 4 and 5 stars. I would give it 5 if Logitech could take care of a few of the items on my cons list. That being said this was my last component of my dream work from home set up. I don't know that a keyboard exists I would be 100% happy with (ideally I want a mechanical ergonomically shaped wireless keyboard with all the keys in the traditional spots) There is a lock key which can be handy for some. I don't think I'll ever use as I am pretty used to just hitting windows + l to lock my screen.

I am a PhD student and a teacher, so I must type a lot daily. I developed Repetitive strain injury (RSI) symptoms, which were getting worse and worse. My physiotherapist suggested I use an ergonomic keyboard, and the ERGO K860 was the best one I found. I can type for more time without pain and more comfortable.

Seriously SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than a standard keyboard. Many years ago I used a similar keyboard in a business setting; now with my home office and Macbook Air, I wanted to get an ergonomic keyboard to alleviate some of the issues I have with mild carpal tunnel syndrome. This really helps and allows me to work in comfort much longer. It is easy to get used to, and I have no trouble switching back and forth when I need to just use my laptop out and about (though there is a travel case made for this if you want/need to bring it along). As an FYI there is also an inexpensive clear keyboard protector available that fits like a glove (i.e. stays in place while typing). The numeric keyboard at the side is a really nice plus. The battery is supposed to last two years or so - we aren't there yet so I can't comment as to its longevity, but I'm glad we don't have to replace traditional batteries every few weeks or something. Rechargeable would be better... maybe that will be their next upgrade. It was simple to pair to my Macbook, in case anybody is worried about that... the instructions are pretty clear.

I'm a writer and spend the majority of my days clacking away at the computer. I have a few keyboards I really enjoy, but my wrists and hands constantly hurt. I took the plunge and went with this fancy shmancy curvy ergonomic dude and I've never looked back. The wrist pad offers support and comfort; the slightly split design ensures you use both hands fairly evenly rather than plucking away like a gobsmacked goose with Trichotillomania. Anyways, *cue Borat voice* THIS IS MY KEYBOARD. SHE VERRRRRYYY NIIIIIICE. I LIKE.

The angle of the keyboard is comfortable and easy on the wrists. The only issue i have with the keyboard is that the numbers at the top have the 6 on the left side. If youre used to typing with yoir left for numbers 1-5, this may take some time to get used to. The wrist pad is not to stiff nor too soft. I think its the perfect firmness for comfort. The battery lasts a long time. I have been using it for about two months and the battery level is pretty much full.

I purchased this keyboard because of experiencing the early stages of carpal tunnel syndrome. At first use I felt an immediate relief to the strain caused by using my laptop keyboard. The design provides a more natural positioning for my hands and wrists while resting on the homerow keys. However, the new angle did require me to be adjust to the slight angle of the the keys. The only semi-negative observation is that I wish the wrist rest had more padding, preferably memory foam. That would indeed be the ultimate enhancement to the overall design of the keyboard.

This keyboard is very comfortable to use and was easy to set up. Connectivity and speed of the keyboard is good; I'm not having any technical issues with it. I really like that the keys have a satisfying sound that is still very quiet, so I don't bother anyone while I type. It took a little getting used to moving to a keyboard that is split and retraining my fingers where to go, but it feels better on my wrists to use this keyboard than my old one (which was also Logitech and still works after many years!). Overall, I love this keyboard and would definitely buy it again.
