    The Gift of a Keyboard

This keyboard had been on my radar for some time. I first saw it online but I wanted and needed to feel it for myself prior to buying. I knew immediately after testing it out in the store that I was going to buy this model. First and foremost I have to rave about the packaging. I don't spend on myself often so this was a gift to myself. I got it home and began to open the box. As I lifted the top open I see the keyboard is wrapped in tissue paper! Like a present. It was very nice. It wasn't like the normal plastic bags, the tissue paper was folded over with a sticker on it to hold it together. That is pride in your product. Dislike - there is a lock button right above the 10-key pad above the minus sign. I use that button quite a bit and have on occasion locked my computer in one second because of that button. I wish it was somewhere else. I do like the ability to quickly lock my screen. I work remotely and this keeps my information secure. Dislike: The wrist cushion bar. I wish I weren't as wide or removable so I can add my own. I would have also liked if it were removable because it would be easier to dust off as little things can get settled in the crevice. Likes - literally everything else! It's very quiet. The keys are soft and almost flush with the keyboard so not bulky. The design of it being an ergonomic keyboard is well done. I have no aches in my wrists after hours of working. I appreciate that! It's very easy to use and connect. It does not take up too much room. I use a smaller two drawer desk, I have this keyboard, a laptop and two monitors and still have room. I didn't take away any stars because my dislikes are personal preference more than poor construction. I only wish I purchased it sooner.

    I. LOVE. this keyboard! I’ve used many ergonomic and ‘ergonomic’ keyboard over the years. The feel of both hand placement and typing response is great. I did need a couple days to adjust to the tilt and slight shifting to the left of this keyboard (that last bit might be just me). But the long use comfort has been fantastic from the start. I have had wrist issues for decades but I’m finding a dramatic reduction on stiffness and I’m happy at the end of the day after using this keyboard. It’s a bit more pricey that I would usually go but it’s been well worth every penny.

I love this keyboard. I bought it for my mac desktop and find that the special keys function well. I like the way my hands rest on it due to its ergonomic design. It’s a bit expensive but it was well worth the purchase for me. The keys are not silent so if you are sensitive to the clicking of keys on a keyboard, you may not like this. But it’s a solid product nonetheless!

The split keyboard looks strange, yet once you start typing, everything seems normal. The key feel is great. Key press feedback good too. The neutral positioning of my hands is comfortable. I found the front elevated keyboard set to the first leg height the most natural of positions. KEY FEATURES: ON OFF switch on the leading edge of the rear of the keyboard easy to locate and use. You are able to pair and chose 3 devices , be they MAC, Windows, etc., and either UNIFY Receiver or Bluetooth. Top row of function keys. Here is an interesting feature, the center keys have slight landing pads to help orient your hands and finger placement. Soft wrist pad Full numeric entry pad nicely laid flat for numeric entry.

I like how the keys feel and sound and the angle is easy on my wrists. It’s pretty big so it’s harder to reach other keys with my smaller hands though. I also dropped the keyboard or dropped something on the keyboard and it broke a key off the small pivot metal so I need to get a repair or replacement because the @ symbol won’t work anymore.

I also like i can switch between both computers i work on during the day. You can also program the f keys for shortcuts.

Looking for an ergonomic keyboard with Bluetooth capabilities, this is your best option. The cushion at the bottom is the perfect amount for wrists working 40 hours a week. I love that you can use the legs to tilt up the keyboard (I use the medium tilt). And it can easily switch between three devices which is super nice for those that work from home and have a personal and work laptop.

My Microsoft ergo keyboard finally gave itself up to the recycler. It was originally marketed for the Surface but I used it for laptops at work, then at home when I retired. This keyboard has a slightly different geometry but the ergo split design works really well. new users may need a day or two to get used to it but the palm rest on this model really well designed with relaxing softness but great support, It also gives me keyboard access to audio and brightness settings.

This is probably one of the middle-of-the road erogonmic full-size keyboard. I am a programmer and I find this layout pretty easy to adapt to. Pros: * Erognomic design. Comfortable to type on. * Quiet. Quieter than even most laptop keyboards and dome-switch keyboards. * Easy to install and use even on windwos and mac without a driver. Cons: * I use the F-keys a lot and it's not easy to touch-type them because unlike the standard full size layout, there is no space between F4 and F5, and F8 and F9. * The FN lock key is next to F12 and if you use F12 a lot you might hit the FN lock by accident. * Keys are not as "snappy" as most other keyboards, including dome-switch keyboards. * Takes a fairly large amount of desk space because of the oversized palm rest.

I purchased the Logitech ERGO K860 Ergonomic Keyboard two years ago, and today I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this fantastic device. Firstly, the price point of this keyboard is incredibly reasonable and affordable, especially for professionals who are looking for quality without breaking the bank. It’s a great investment that has paid off in terms of comfort and productivity. The wave-like design of the ERGO K860 is a standout feature for me. It’s super comfortable, especially when I’m typing for extended periods. This ergonomic design has significantly reduced strain on my wrists and hands, making my work sessions much more enjoyable. The keys on this keyboard are smooth and easy to press, which I greatly appreciate. The tactile feedback is just right, providing a satisfying typing experience without being too loud or requiring too much force. A huge bonus for me is that this keyboard is cordless. The freedom to move it around without being tethered to my computer is a game-changer. The wireless connectivity is reliable, and I haven’t experienced any lag or disconnection issues. In conclusion, I’m totally loving the Logitech ERGO K860 Ergonomic Keyboard. It’s been a fantastic addition to my workspace, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an ergonomic, wireless keyboard that delivers on comfort, performance, and value.

Tested a few out and decided this is the best ergonomic keyboard currently available that works for me. I wish the keys stuck out a little more because it’s easier to hit the wrong key, but not that big of a deal. It looks nice, not bulky, quiet & most important comfortable to type with. A bit overpriced.

This is an early review especially for those moving from the MS Ergo 4000 which is a great but discontinued keyboard. My 4000 had a fatal accident. I was quite distressed. I had to have something fast so I went with this. At first, I was hesitant with the laptop-like keys. But surprisingly I am touch-typing faster than the 4000. If you had the 4000 and are in mourning of its discontinuance, this keyboard is for you. Pros not mentioned above are the split spacebar, and how quiet is. Far removed from a mechanical keyboard but efficient nonetheless. Wireless is also good. I am using BlueTooth. Cons: No dedicated keys for multimedia. There are several "fn" buttons that you can switch functions such as volume but I like function keys so it's an extra step. Several keys have non-intuitive graphics on them. Hard to tell what they are for without a manual. This keyboard tries hard to function both for a PC and Mac. The alt key is also the CMD key, and the Start button doesn't have the Windows flag and is also the "opt" button. There are strange symbols on these keys that I assume is Mac-related. Finding the Start button may be the hardest thing to get used to. If you are a touch typist you should be good in a day or two.

The ERGO k860 is a great keyboard! it is comfortable, with soft wrist rest, and the position and curvature of the keyboard is very comfortable. I used to have discomfort when typing for extended periods of time but not any more with the ERGO K860. The only negative I'd say is that it is pricey, but if you don't mind dropping $100+ on a keyboard - this is a good one!

When ergonomic keyboards first came out some twenty plus years ago, I bought one of the first models. I believe it was in 1998. Have things changed and have come a long way since then. Most of the Ergo keyboards split your keys, but the Logitech Ergo K860 actually raises on the inside of your hands next to your pointer fingers that tapers away to your pinkies. This is very comfortable position and a more natural feel. The keys are shaped so your fingers naturally fall into the center. The space bar is split so either thumb can connect with it. It also has a built in 10-Key which is a nice added feature. There is a function lock button that helps you to easily switch between function keys and media keys. The attached adjustable pillowed wrist support lifts in the back to make a more comfortable experience for when you are standing. There are two connection methods, Bluetooth or usb receiver. The receiver will actually connect multiple devices so you can free up a usb slot if needed. The connection instructions are easy to follow and there is actually easy connect for up to three devices. I have only had it for about a week, but I do notice that I have less fatigue than my regular keyboard. I do notice I make more mistakes when I have to switch back and forth between the Logitech Ergo K860 and my laptop keyboard. The laptop keys are really close together and the Logitech Ergo K860 fits my hands better.
