I LOVED the vac function! NOT the mop ft tho!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of those things I definitely wanted to love, but quality just didn’t last very long. I’ve noticed that ANYthing that vacuums, should never have the mop feature included w/ it, because they always tear up so much easier, and then the mopping feature makes the vacuum feature far less efficient…And inevitably just causes ongoing damage, bc the water causes the vac to clog up & as soon as you turn it off, all the dirty water comes gushing back out of it. I’ve had the same problem with numerous regular vacuums, as well as Robovacs. I’ve come to the conclusion that I will NOT be buying any more vacuums that vacuum AND mop. It’s well worth it to just do them separately! Not only does the mop feature tear up the vacuum, but the price you pay for the “convenience” of having 2 in 1 defeats the purpose, when you realize there’s nothing convenient about cleaning up all the dirty mop water that runs back out of the vacuum upon turning it off. Just a muddy mess ! I wound up having to return it, bc I paid WAY too much for this to just simply not work as it should. I wound up buying one on Amazon called the LeFant for ONLY $99 that I was extremely pleased w/! It’s been going strong since I got it. It only vacuums, but out of all the expensive Robo vac I’ve purchased in past times, this hands-down does a better job than any of the ones before it. It’d almost suck the family pet up in it, if you let it ! Lololol jkjk but its suction power is phenomenal, and the low price is yet another bonus! The only cons are that it’s a little too tall to go under my couch without getting stuck, and it doesn’t have the mapping feature so it’s all over the place. If interested in the Robo vac, I have now, I’ve included pics of it w/ this review so you’ll know of a WONDERFUL AND AFFORDABLE alternative. YOU'RE WELCOME! (:

Great little cleaner
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cleaner is a little noisier than our previous one, but it works great! Set up was extremely easy. You can see where your cleaner is on your WiFi on your phone! It shows a map of where it can go according to your Wifi. You can see it moving on that map. She ran circles around the dining room chair legs and found its way out and away she went. She does an outline of the long hallways and then fills in the inside of the outline with back and forth motions. She cleans everything in sight! She runs about 3 hours on a single charge. We are extremely pleased so far. She says things like, "I am reading my map, do not stand near me! " "I am now charging". Then you set your schedule on the app on your phone. It is SUPER EASY ! Fun and excellent quality.

My kingdom has been clean and blessed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First let me inform you that I have always kept a clean house, but I am impressed by the dirt this robotic vacuum seems to find in my home. I contribute it’s accomplishment in finding this unwanted intrusive element in its ability to access uncharted territories within my home, such as under beds and dressers. Upon completion of its first journey I was taken aback or rather astonished to find that it’s trash compartment was generously filled or occupied by the unspeakable which is it primary function for operating or existing. It has now taken 9 journeys within my kingdom and has return with a pocket less filled, but I am not dissatisfied or disturb for I know there is less treasure for it to find within my walls. On its most recent quest I supplied it with a stomach filled of water which it used to clear its path while wondering by boundaries and I was delighted to see the clear, shining path it left behind. More or less as delighted as Dorothy when she followed the yellow brick road. Presently I come to the conclusion upon accepting my emotional and spiritual being that I am very satisfied with my new companion and am hoping for a long and lasting relationship. If your interested in its setup or how to configure boundaries please check some others reviews or search YouTube.

Blown away!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can’t say enough positive things are my Deebot T5. First run it mapped out the house while cleaning it. Once it completes the run (and finds its way back to the base) you have a map that you can section off rooms and send the Deebot to specific areas. One nice feature is when you select only certain rooms to clean, it cleans them in the order in which you selected. You can set up virtual walls if you don’t want the Deebot going to specific areas (like under a dresser or bed). My wife and I were skeptical that this could replace our Dyson but we haven’t pulled the Dyson out once since we’ve had it. We have small kids so crumbs in the kitchen have always drove us crazy so we have the Deebot scheduled to run in the kitchen only every night so in the morning the floors are spotless. The mopping feature is an added bonus but don’t expect too much from it. We’ve ran it a couple of times and it definitely picked up a lot of dirt on the pad. We have light tile so I’m not sure if you’d see any streaks on darker tile. Was initially a little hesitant about spending so much money on this but have had a single regret since purchase. I originally was looking at the iRobot I7+ But after watching review after review on YouTube the Deebot came out on top every single time.

WOW!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so skeptical about purchasing this type of vacuum, but I have to say it is worth every penny. I set it for a midnight cleaning and woke up in shock on how nice my floor was after. Plus it mopped my kitchen floor as I slept. Best investment hands down

Great functionality!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very quiet and has a low enough profile to completely maneuver underneath our bed. Maps multiple levels of your home and also illustrates its cleaning path. Easy to dispose of bits sucked up into its filtered bin. Great for the in-between deep cleaning.

Bayside Bot for the win
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best robot mop on the market today and it has a great mapping system. It moves quick it cleans almost every area. Never tried to commit suicide down the stairs and knows not to go on the carpet when the mop is installed. Awesome awesome awesome for the price. Would have liked the newer one for the larger mopping but this does the trick. And it moves. If I have to do it twice back to back for a heavy cleaning it works great because the thing still has juice in the battery for back to backs on 1500 sq ft of tiles floors.

Really disappointed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really disappointed in this purchase. It seemed to have good reviews and I wanted to upgrade our current robot vacuum. It misses a lot of dirt. It also mops horribly. It would have been better to just stick with a robot vacuum. It mops in streaks. The photos below are it after 10+ minutes of mopping so plenty of time for the pad to be wet. I show it going in two different directions and it just streaks going both ways so I don’t believe it’s an issue with my floors. Other mops I have do not streak like that when going across. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this. Last photo is to show there was plenty of water in it.

One of the best Robot Vacuums out right now
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom Line Upfront: ================ The Deebot Ozmo T5 is an amazing piece of tech that will undoubtedly make your regular cleaning routine quicker and more efficient. I don’t think it’s going to substitute for a throughout vacuuming of your house – particularly if you have lots of kids and pets - but this can be said for literally all of the current robotic vacuums on the market. There is somewhat large amount of learning curve required to set it up and truly understand what the little robotic vacuum is capable of. The MSRP may seem high, but even with some short comings – the Ozmo T5 deserves consideration if you’re in the market for one of these guys. ===================================================================================== Detailed Thoughts and Observations: ===================================================================================== I have been a huge fan of robotic vacuum cleaning machines since they first started to become a “thing” like 10 years ago. My house has multiple dogs, birds, and kids (aged 2-8) – so needless to say I am vacuuming some part of house on a daily basis at a minimum. As a result, I have always looked for any kind of “help” I could get to keep everything clean. I have owned multiple brands of robotic vacuums and used them on almost every type of household cleaning surface throughout the years. They have come a long way since then, and the Deebot Ozmo T5 is an excellent example of that. As soon as you open the box, you can’t help notice the attention to detail and care put into the packaging and presentation of the machine itself. I found it super easy to identify, unpack and setup all the parts I needed to begin charging it for first use. This is about the point where I think people will begin to encounter their first set of hurdles in getting the most of the unit. It goes without saying that YOU NEED TO READ the instruction guide/manual to understand the different parts of the suction and mopping systems. The fact that the Deebot Ozmo T5 is capable of doing so much, also means that the end user needs to understand that is their responsibility of knowing when to switch out the direct suction head for the roller head or that the moping system requires some attention to detail when filling the reservoir and/or changing to the mopping pad. My point is, this is not a “set it and forget it” type of cleaning machine if you want to get the most out of it. You’ll have to regularly swap out the cleaning system head types to get the absolute best clean in the area your targeting - especially if those areas are a mix of different surface types – like mine are (laminate, hardwood, carpet, bare concrete). Yes, you can just leave the brush head in the unit, and hope for the best, but if that is honestly your plan – there may be better choices from Deebot (among others) that will cost you less and accomplish your goals. I have to say… I am impressed with the mapping capabilities the Deebot Ozmo T5. Looking at the detailed mapped surface in the Deebot App truly showcases what this little guy is capable of. That being said, if I had to knit pick -- it would have been nice if they included some type of sensor system to wirelessly/invisibly mark off “no-go” areas (like stair wells, or children’s play areas (when they decide to dump out their 1000’s of lego pieces). It Deebot also took a little longer to map out my main floor than I anticipated when I turned it on for the first time to do its thing. The manual warns that it may take a while, and to ensure that the unit has a full charge. I’m here to say that they were absolutely right – and to warn you to make sure you do the same. Otherwise it will have to start all over if it does not successfully complete its initial mapping run. Once the Ozmo T5 is al set up and good to go, it can be set to clean as often or as little to your heart’s desire, and is all configurable in the App. I personally had no issues using, setting up, or configuring the application while the little guy did his thing. The majority of the cleaning around my house was pet hair based, so I found that the direct suction cleaning head worked best for my needs. Conversely, cheerios and kiddie sized snacks were better tended to by the brush head. ===================================================================================== In Summary: ===================================================================================== The Deebot Ozmo T5 resides among the pinnacle of current robotic assistant cleaner technology. While that statement is meant to be a complement – its is also a detriment as well. As the relentless march of technology moves forward – especially in AI and robotics are concerned – you’d be hard pressed to not ask yourself if this particular cleaning system is right for you considering its price point at MSRP of $599.99, especially if you are the type of person that does not want/like the level of interaction you need to have with it in order to get the most out of it. For the record - and for my own personal needs – the Deebot Ozmo T5 is absolutely worth it. Even if this machine only saves me a minimum of “15 mins” per day (after cleaning and re-configuration time is taken out of the equation), that still saves me roughly 2 hours of cleaning time by the end of the week, and a total of several hours a month. The build quality appears to be sturdy and I know from previous experiences with Deebot that they stand behind their products and their customer service had been easy enough to deal with. Overall, I would rate this at a 4.5 Star unit – that’s a combination of 4 stars for pricing and end user system usability – and 5 stars for the unit’s capabilities and cleaning ability when configured properly. I think its only fair to round up to 5 stars considering the Deebot Ozmo T5 does what it was designed to do - and does it exceptionally well regardless of price point. Just remember to READ the INSTRUCTIONS, and not rush the unit’s setup and you will not be disappointed.

Almost there
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had other robot vacuums before, but never with a mop. Extra Functions/Features and how it cleans are amazing. I cant complain there at all it does miss corners but it's not that bad. I dumped some cat liter on the floor and it got it all along with the poop. This has suction power I tried it on max settings and wow. There is a max+ which I didn't need to use. I have bare floors and the rug for the cat litter tray which is pretty thick. The deebot went over that with no problem. Then I setup the mop accessories. Used the app to clean and it did it . According to the website you just need to use water NO SOAP because it will clog the tiny hose . So on purpose I didn't clean the area where the cat bin is for 2 days to see if this deebot can really clean. The machine got like 99% done. It does make life easier I can't deny that. It mapped out the living room pretty good went under the table, around the sofa pretty effortlessly once it mapped everything. It even cleaned faster too. When it's done the deebot talks and sends your phone an alert. You can customize your cleaning areas and how many times. You can also clean a specific area because it sections my living room. Again I did this to simulate a whole apartment and it does do it. for me it shows A-C. So imagine having 3 bedrooms, you can tell the deebot to clean room C or B. That was really nice to have the app is great once you take your time to see all that it can do. It vacuums and mops at the same time which is nice. Just keep in mind I believe this product hasn't been out that long so the reason why a 4 stars is because the app was not as easy to setup on android at first. Although I did get it downloaded the set up took a while maybe like 20 minutes to get it to work 99%. So I had to use the qr code to find the app from ecovacs website because using the google play one didn't even show the t5 model. Then it only uses the 2.4ghz wifi channel. So make sure your wifi is running both 5ghz and 2.4ghz. My android phone is on the 5ghz hence why it couldn't do the setup. So I hit skip and then I connected directly to the deebot wifi name. Then it was a breeze. This part took me like 5 minutes to get done. Now it says that you can use google or alexa to control it. I don't use google so I can't tell you if it does work . I did try with Alexa. I found help online followed the steps to do the skill add on. I tried over and over again with my username on the ecovacs server and sadly it can't find my deebot. Maybe in a future update or I'll call support another time to get alexa to work with the deebot. Other than those issues I would definitely give it 5 stars.

Cleaning Machine
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Greetings ladies and Gents I managed to get myself a Deebot T5 and I am happy that I did. Let's go ahead and have a look at one of Ecovacs latest offerings. If you are looking at robot vacuums then you are clearly an individual that values convenience and loves saving time. There are lots to choose from but why look at Ecovacs? I am no stranger to the brand and this is the second smart device I own. Only difference is that the previous model didn't have mopping capabilities (N79SE). ::::Initial Impressions::: Upon opening up the box you'll find all the usual supplies the dock, two spin brushes, mopping pad, ac cord and the mopping pad is washable (yes awesome in my eyes). The T5 has a healthy weight to it and definitely has a premium look and feel to it. The T5 is fairly simple to setup just flip the lid and switch on the vacuum and let it charge prior to it's first run. The app can be downloaded via the bar code. I left the T5 to charge for about 8 hours. I believe the instructions stated to let it charge for a minimum of 6 hours. :::Pros & Cons::: Pros: - Easy to setup - Alexa compatible - App offers customizable settings - Long battery life - Improved smart capabilities - Holds a good amount of liquid for mopping. :::Cons::: - Don't have any cons only hopes for an improvement or two in the future ::::General thoughts::: I have used the Deebot T5 for about two weeks or more. I am impressed because of the ease of use of this product. You set it up and then periodically change the filter, clean the mopping pad, and empty the dust pan. Now my apartment is not huge by any means so I can't say that I have put the battery through any sort of stress test because after each cleaning the T5 automatically docks itself. I find battery life to be a non issue for my usage. The navigation system is great and I have yet to see "Rosie" my deebot get stuck or confused. Rosie is able to clean my apartment in about 30 minutes. I read through the manual and I believe that it states not put cleaning solution in the water tank. But who cleans the floor with just hot water? I added a small diluted mix of water and fabulouso. I am not willing to put a bleach solution out of fear of damaging the vacuum and mopping bot. When it is all said and done my apartment is clean and smells great. I have a cat and a dog (pomeranian) who both shed often. The T5 picks up amazing amount of dander and debris off of the floor. I prefer to empty the dust bin once a week and clean the mopping pad at the same time. Earlier I mentioned a possible improvement. I would have loved for this to be self cleaning. That would be the ultimate convenience but it does make sense as to why it wasn't included because the mopping pad does need to be cleaned frequently. Lets discuss the Ecovacs smartphone application. I am using the android version and it is fairly simple to use and you can customize the bot and tweak mopping and sweeping settings and perform system updates. Being able to set a cleaning schedule is the norm and of course setting it up to work with Alexa is straight forward as well. It is literally the easiest thing to say Alexa "Ask deebot to clean" and thats it. I am a busy individual and work many hours as a healthcare professional and not having to mop and sweep is a blessing it is just two less things to worry about. :::TL;DR::: Are you on the market for a 2 in 1 robot mopping and vacuum? Then look no further than the Deebot T5 it is easy to setup and use. It is good at picking up pet hair and leaving your floor spotless. Be sure to setup a cleaning schedule and periodically perform maintenance and you wont' have to worry about cleaning ever again at least your floors that is.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Time to turn my calendar to 2021 because this is my favorite electronic of the year. As someone who has spent literally my entire life vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping, it’s a really incredible feeling to know that I’m done doing those chores again. Out of the box, comes this sleek robot like I’m living with the Jetsons. The physical setup didn’t require much besides plugging in the base, getting the device on the base, and waiting for it to charge. In full disclosure, the instructions are helpful but I felt lacked a bit of detail. Figuring out if the device had been charging properly, took a bit to understand. Additionally in regards to charging, maybe the biggest con of this product is that it takes an extremely long time to charge, especially in relation to operating time. A six hour charge will net you a little over 2 hours of use, despite the box claiming 3 hours. Either way, it’s not a ton of time. After getting the vacuum charged and downloading the accompanying app, my vacuum set off for its first cleaning. This part was also a bit confusing because the app implied that it would start off by mapping the house, when in fact it mapped, and cleaned at the same time. The machine has a slight buzz to it, much less than a normal vacuum but definitely noticeable. I watched as it maneuvered easily from carpet to hardwood and back to carpet, drawing a floor plan on the app, and cleaning at the same time. What was notable was how gentle the machine is. There’s a sensor at the top providing depth direction to the machine and the machine itself is surrounded by a kind of plastic shell that has some give to it, that way nothing should get damaged while cleaning. As the vacuum continued, I felt confident knowing my floor could be cleaned unsupervised so I headed back to work and monitored the remainder of the cleaning in my app. However, about two hours into cleaning, and not yet finished, the robot returned to the base. This was both a great feature but also puzzling as to why it was taking so long to clean. After recharging itself, the robot took off again to continue cleaning where it left off. The app showed it wasn’t progressing much from where it had previously left off so I decided to go see what was happening. Turns out that one of my large rugs was confusing the vacuum sensors. My rug has a pattern of multiple colors with thick black lines in patterns, which was causing the vacuum a lot of confusion. The sensors saw the thick black lines as boundaries and largely would go onto my area rug and when it did eventually maneuver itself on, it couldn’t find a way out. While that’s a bit frustrating, on the app itself, you can highlight areas to avoid, which I did and now the vacuum just goes around the rug entirely. Additionally while cleaning, I noticed the vacuum would suck up thin cords, like an iPhone, Wii cord, or shoe strings but wouldn’t suck up thicker cords like power cords. Both times I saw it such up shoe strings and thin cords, it would stop and loudly alert me from the machine to come provide assistance. After cleaning, the device went back to recharge, I emptied the debris and was very pleased with the results. Notable as well, I noticed a handful of larger hairs had been caught up in the brush of the vacuum. Luckily, the vacuum lid pops open and has a little blade in there, that allowed me to cut the hair out in a couple seconds time. The app saves your floor plan, so you can set it to vacuum again whenever you’d like. You can set schedules, adjust suction strength, change water flow levels for the mopping function, etc. Even maybe more importantly, your vacuum does a pretty good job of determining boundaries for each room, which are easy to edit in case they’re incorrect, but this allows you to send the robot to clean specific rooms at a time. The mop feature is painless too. You fill the water basin, attach the mop tool to the bottom of the vacuum and send it on it’s way. Lastly, the app has a great feature that allows you to save multiple floor plans so if you have a multi level home, or I guess even a 2nd home, you can take this around and not have to do much after your initial set up. The cons: very long charge time, not being able to overcome the robot getting confused by my carpet, and having it suck up all the shoelaces and cords it could find. Pros: the ease of use after setup and the peace of mind knowing that I pretty much never have to manually clean the floors again. Overall, this is highly recommended. I’ve probably told a dozen people about it and will continue to do so.

Why Did I Ever Live Without One
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have largely been skeptical of having a robotic vacuum in my household as I didn't think it would be all that beneficial for me. After some time with the Deebot Ozmo T5 I can firmly say I am a believer in their products! SETUP: - Setting the Deebot up was overall easy! The Deebot was mostly put together out of the box besides a few pieces that easily snap in. After that you power it on and are ready for the App portion of setting it up. - The App is fairly easy to use. I think the app could be a little cleaner and could prompt you to turn on more things before use. So that being said I highly recommend going through the settings of your Deebot in the app. Here you can change to advance modes, increase vacuum power, set reminders, and various other options. WHY I LOVE IT: - Once through the fairly quick set-up, all you do is hit start on your app and boom! It starts cleaning. I was seriously blown away at how smart the Deebot was. It quickly started mapping the floor it would be vacuuming/mopping everyday and you can watch it live from your app. It did a wonderful job not ramming into things, being delicate, and know what was carpet vs what was hardwood flooring. - When working, the Deebot T5 is fairly quiet and just doing its job. If it runs out of battery or the needs to be emptied before the job is done, it will remember where it last ended and pick up where it stopped once its ready again. Pretty smart! On my first run it had plenty of battery left and the canister was almost completely full. So I was satisfied with everything it picked up and I'm sure if I ran it everyday the canister would take days to fill up vs once a week cleanings. - The mopping aspect of it was a huge plus for me! I really was impressed how it distinguished from carpet to flooring and could quickly adapt to it. It was just another added perk it helped to make my floors like nice and clean. - Probably my favorite part is that Deebot left my carpet and floors with that just cleaned feeling. I did not feel like it did a sub-par job or that I had to go over it again on my own. Its just a nice way of keeping your floors nice and clean so you feel better in your own home or when you have surprise guests over. - I also love the Google Home or Alexa integration of it! Although the app is easy to use or setting a schedule, its also pretty cool you can just tell Google to vacuum for your quick and it will get it done. WHAT ITS LACKING: - For some, I think Deebot can be the one vacuum & mop they own. For others, I think it will be something that does a good job keeping your house looking nice but you will still have to deep clean on your own at times. I just know peoples lifestyles varies with kids, dogs that shed, or a dirty job you work. I personally have a dog that sheds and the Deebot did a great job getting a lot of dog hair. But for others they might want a deeper clean every so often on top of what the Deebot does. - The mopping aspect of it is great for keeping your floors clean but not great for really tough spots. But thats to be expected! I mean if you have to use force to scrub it off with a mop, I wouldn't expect any household machine to get it easily for you. BOTTOM LINE: - This thing will make your floors look better, period! You will pick up habits on making sure your floor is clear of things and you will save time because the Deebot can vacuum for you everyday if you want. Also depending on your lifestyle, this may be the only vacuum you need to own. I really think that once you buy the Deebot T5 you will be as impressed as I was and happy you made the purchase!

A Robust Vacuum Robot
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always wanted a vacuum robot but since they were pricey, I was hesitant to make a purchase. So, I was more than thrilled to try this robot as a TIN member. First, I was surprised how large it was (but not heavy). Including the docking station, it takes up about 16 inch x 15 inch of space. Its size makes sense, though, for having so many moving parts as well as a dust collecting cartridge and water reservoir. Second, the setup was pretty easy. The manual is pretty simple - mostly with images and not much written instructions - so I had to read it through a couple of times. Linking the robot to the app and connecting to WiFi were easy as well. After an overnight of charging (the manual states it takes 6.5 hours), I was finally able to take my beautiful robot for a spin! Our two-bedrooms and two-bathrooms condo is about 1100 sq. ft. and it took the robot about an hour and 15 min. to map (= initial mapping of the space) and clean. The robot only got stuck once - it was in the bathroom when it couldn't vacuum over the really shaggy bathmat. Once I took the bathmat away, the robot was fine for the rest of cleaning. The robot wan't able to pick up crumbs and other small objects between the crevice of wooden floors, like it showed in its promo video (on Ecovacs' website), but that's hard to do even for a regular-size vacuum cleaner, so I won't fault the robot for it. When the robot was done cleaning, it was so cute to see it go back to its home = docking station to recharge. The cartridge was full of dust and the brush was tangled with so many strands of my dark long hair (yuck!) I didn't used the mopping feature with water. After reading the fellow TIN member's review, I didn't think it was worth trying (I have a full-size electric mop specifically for that job). Cleaning the robot afterwards was also very easy - the cleaning tool that came inside the robot (brush and cutting blade in one) was helpful to detangle my hair from the brush. It was so satisfying to see all the dust compacted inside the cartridge and get that into a bag (avoid dust from flying everywhere), then into the trash bin. I washed all the washable parts with water and let them dry. Two minor negatives about the robot: 1) Voice of the robot is pretty loud and I couldn't find the volume control on the unit or on the app. The voice is a bossy female, so not only I would like her to be a little quiet but wouldn't mind the option to change it to someone whose more soft-spoken and less forceful. 2) The robot cannot recharge while the cartridge is removed. I washed the cartridge, filter and sponge and they had to be dried (as recommended by the manual) but I find it inefficient that the robot cannot be charged while those parts are taken out - the bossy 'lady' kept telling me to install the cartridge. I had to turn off the robot to shut 'her' up but of course it cannot recharge while the robot is turned off. Overall, though, I am very happy with DEEBOT OZMO T5. It's going to make my cleaning life so much easier, which is a small victory!

This is the Droid You Are Looking For
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So we have been using our Ozmo T5 robot for a few weeks now and I have to say it's pretty cool. The AI and app interface are nice. I'd say it does an excellent job moving about and not getting stuck. I was surprised to see how well it moved through and around our table with 8 chairs. The vacuum is especially well done. The mopping feature is good, but not excellent. It probably needs a steam/scrub version to really make this excellent. However it does mop well and reach all parts of the floor and gets the dirt off. Since you can set the time to run everyday, it really keeps your floors looking much better, because no one cleans their floors everyday. We have a large surface area and two floors and so the mapping features work well when we move the robot to a different floor. If I was feeling more rich I might buy a second one just to have an army of robots clean both levels at the same time. Bonus is my kids named it "Oswald" and almost treat it like a pet and empty the dust bin and clean it and fill the water for it everyday without complaint. Recommend.

Vacuum and mop - 2 in 1 beauty
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this is one great device with very nice features. 2-in-1 cleaning beauty Packaging: Packing is very nice and very simple. Box contains Robot vacuum itself, 2 sets of spinning brushes, 2 washable filters (one pre-installed), water tank, small vacuum cleaning brush, direct suction and spinning main brush suction panels, mopping attachment and few washable mopping cloths (I think 5 in pack) Setup: Setup was relatively easy, my only issue was connecting to network which for some reason worked only after 3 unsuccessful attempts, but other than network issue everything else was fine. Robot comes with spinning brushes and water tank detached so those needed to be installed first which is just a few seconds job. Application installation and setup were guided and it adds robot to your app simply by scanning the QR code label. Keep in mind that is supports only 2.4ghz wireless network which is older technology but has better range. Features & Impressions: Great looking, even better preforming devices which has 3 cleaning modes, not too loud and doing very awesome job. It has sensor to detect/identify different surfaces such as carpet or laminate flooring and adjust itself if auto-boost is enabled when needed. Device that does both vacuums and mop floors itself, with smart laser navigation and supports multiple (3) floor maps which are shown in real time. Yes, if you open the floor map it will show your current real time progress, what it cleaned so far and where is currently with actual real-time movement on screen. For moping you will need to add water to water tank, attach moping attachment to bottom of your robot using 2 clips at end of the attachment and insert cleaning cloth to attachment, simply by putting over it - as sleeve. You can customize cleaning area to specific area or whole floor, but you can also customize boundaries if you want to prevent him to entering certain spaces or areas. Additionally you can create cleaning schedule on your app and vacuum will work per schedule (for example start every day at 7:00pm to cleaning whole floor). This vacuum really cleans everywhere it could reach, without skipping lines or spots. Vacuum cleaning operation can be with main spinning brush or direct suction operation depending which attachment you choose to use. I personally like brush more because it does the batter job for me. One of my favorite things on this device its voice confirmation. For example, when it starts job it will say “I am starting to clean”, or “I am returning to dock”, and “I am starting to charge” after it return to dock and many others. This could be disabled if you don’t like it, by I love this feature. It does work with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and by Ecovacshome app, so it’s very nice when you can control your device on several different methods, including by your own voice. Evovacshome app is very good, and lets you control and customize lots of options and features. Do I like it? I sure do. I am actually very impressed with it. Pros: Multi floor maps Carpet detection Smart home device compatible Vacuums and Mop Powerful suction Extra accessories Spinning brush and brushless suction Continuous cleaning Washable filters Washable moping cloth Cons: None really

So Far So Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Suction is way better than expected on the highest setting. Battery life is more than good for our small house. We have 2 dogs (including a Husky) and find that we can clean with the brush every few days without risking tangles. We thought it was great that it has an option for brushless operation, which is pretty good at getting everything on our laminate. We’ve experimented with mopping a few times and have been pretty disappointed. Even on the highest setting it doesn’t put enough water down. It basically leaves behind some streaks of wet-ish-ness. It’s almost comical. We have very thin area rugs and sometimes it struggles to get up on them, although it seems to have some pretty clever algorithms for figuring that stuff out. It does eventually get up on them and clean the whole thing. It doesn’t “see” some of our black furniture, but it doesn’t just slam around into things either. All things considered, it’s great so far. We’ve already recommended it to one of our friends. I’m taking a star off for how little the mopping function actually accomplishes compared to what it seems it could do if it put down even 50% more water. Still. Our house is cleaner than ever and we don’t have to sweep the hardwood anymore. Worth it.

Excellent Vacuum!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my second robot vacuum after returning a DeeBot DeeBot 930 model. The T5 does everything I want and need in a vacuum. The App u I a great, packed full of features and easy to use. The WiFi setup was quick and easy . After fully charging fur 6 hours I set it off to map the house. It cleans while mapping and the accuracy is amazing ! The best thing about this vacuum is the batter capacity. The unit Napier and vacuumed about 2000 square feet without having to recharge . The vacuum suction is strong and you can set it even higher to Max or Max+. The mopping feature does an ok job and works best on my smooth laminate flooring , not so good on tiles, but I really did it get this product for mopping. For me , the mopping feature is just an added bonus. The smart navigation is amazing on this unit. It gets every square inch and you can actually watch it in real time on the app. It has no problem moving over my different surfaces and no issues with my area rugs that have big dark borders around them. My previous vacuum has big problems with the rugs. The app lets you select the areas you want cleaned and you can block off areas with virtual boundaries. When cleaning is done, you get a voice message saying cleaning is complete and the unit returns quickly back to the base . I really live this vacuum and highly recommended it, well worth every penny.

Floor cleaner
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This worked really well. Once it ran its 2 year the bot started to loose map. It wouldn’t hold enough charge. We luckily were able to use the Geek Squad warranty in time to receive credit for another type of robot floor cleaner
