I bought this initially because my mom always asked for Sonic ice but after making the investment, I didn’t realize just how much I would love the convenience of having the “good ice” in my kitchen and not having to go to Sonic.

The bin only holds ice for approximately 2 full cups of ice similar to how nugget ice is used at a place like Sonic. Since nugget ice melts more quickly, but cools the drink faster, you need more total ice in a cup. The icemaker is pretty quiet overall and much more practical that any other maker I've used since the water container feeds the maker directly. I use the ice for a couple of cups a day and the water container usually lasts about 5-7 days before needing to be refilled.

Love the Product but HATE the Warranty Service

It's still under warranty but the warranty service is absolutely the worst in the industry. I finally got the exchange submitted in August and I'm STILL waiting on a replacement as of 11-03-21
