Kitchen Aid used to be quality but no more

Was mixing a Duncan's Hines chocolate cake mix and one of the beater gears must have broke, mixer started chattering and felt off balance. Removed the beater and then the other beater gear failed.

I have owned for just about a month and have used it a few time to whip up my personal recipe for pumpkin cheesecake and it did an amazing job. Only thing I dislike is I wish it came with a case for storage.
