Great suction - which is also adjustable for different floors. Very easy to push and steer and picks up everything in its way! Highly recommend!!

Bought this to replace a 15 year old Hoover Windtunnel. As other reviews state, the suction on this is VERY POWERFUL. There is a flagged caution note on the cord near the plug saying "Do not run the vaccuum over the cord while in operation to prevent damage." They mean it. My teenage son wasn't careful and ran the vacuum over the cord and it sucked right up and nicked the protective casing.

Clickbaity title, but the Shark Vortex does its job phenomenally. I love the ability to disconnect the handle for quick pickup. You can disconnect further down for longer reach and you can disconnect the tank to vacuum under very hard to reach places. My only complaint if it could be that, is the suction is poweful enough to pull the Vortex away from you, so a 5 or 6 year old attempting to vacuum might have problems.

Love how clean this makes my carpet look and feel. I have a lot of carpet and a keep a dog friendly household. The self propelled feature helps glide across even a thicker carpet and the fins really get down to pickup everything without getting matted with hair. Also works great on hard surfaces, and maneuvers through tight spaces perfectly due to how it swivels. Lift of feature is quick and easy. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the size of the canister as I would like it to be a little larger. Extremely happy with this purchase.

I truly believe this vacuum is amazing. However the only reason I’m rating it 3 stars because I ordered for delivery. My box arrived and it was damaged. It worked great for 3 days; then I noticed it wouldn’t turn on. I do believe I received a damaged product from shipping.

I bought this vacuum cleaner hoping it would be the answer to the dirt and dog hair that my 3 dogs leave in the house. I was hesitant to purchase it because it was a little more than I wanted to spend. The suction on the vacuum is incredibly powerful. I realize now how much dirt I was leaving behind with the old one. No regrets whatsoever. The cord is longer than most, it is made well, and it is the best vacuum I have ever purchased.

I bought this new vacuum as we had changed out the carpets throughout our house. Our new carpet is very thick & plush. This works great on it! It also does a nice job on our hard wood/vinyl flooring. I have recommended this vacuum to others!

I wasn’t sure about which model to purchase and the salesman directed me to this model as he had one himself. Really works well on dog hair! Settings for flooring and carpeting. Easy to empty container and move around the floor. One of the best vacuums I’ve bought and I highly recommend it.

It's a decent vacuum for the price. Suction is good. Works really well but it is a little heavy.

The Shark Vertex DuoClean does a great job at cleaning — it’s powerful and picks up dirt with ease. However, the durability is disappointing. I’ve had to replace this vacuum three times in one year because it keeps breaking down. The parts seem to wear out too quickly for a vacuum at this price point. It’s frustrating because when it works, it’s great. But having to constantly replace or repair it takes away from the value. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for something long-lasting.

I haven't had it long enough to confidently give 5 stars; however, so far I'm very pleased with it except that the collection unit is smaller than my old Dyson. Also it's slightly harder to push than my old vac, which is a plus if you want a good arm workout.

Works great, we have pets and it picks up the hair. It's easy to use and the attachments are awesome.

I would highly recommend this vacuum. It has better suction than our Kirby, it is much lighter, it can pick up long hair, has a self-cleaning feature, and also, it can reach under furniture with the detachable feature. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product to anyone that considering purchasing a bagless vacuum.

Love the vacuum. Super strong and picks up what other vacuums leave behind. I like the feature that allows handle to detach and allow for better access and maneuvering under furniture. Easy to use and easy to clean after use.

Works extremely well. Not the quietest vacum though. For the price it should have included more attachments. This is my 2nd Shark and it gets the job done well.

I really like its versatility, going from an upright to a canister. So easy to change from floors to carpet at your fingertips.
