This is the most powerful vacuum I have ever owned! Love the brushroll technology that keeps hair from getting caught around the brushroll. I have two golden retrievers who shed A LOT. this vacuum is super effective and makes cleaning much more pleasant.

Best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. When we first brought it home after purchasing it, I used our Dyson ball and vacuum our home first. Then I used our new shark and it still picked up stuff the dyson left behind.

This is our third Shark and by far the best. The suction is fantastic and the self-cleaning brushroll works great, Was amazed at how much dog hair was pulled from our carpets even though they are vacuumed almost daily.

Have not tried the lift-away feature, however as an upright vacuum it does a very good job of lifting pet hair and general bits and pieces from area rugs, carpet and hardwood. The three settings are good. The vacuum does seem to pull forward when using carpet feature and it is somewhat of a workout. So far, for the price, we made a good decision to purchase.

The Shark Vertex is the greatest vacuum I've ever owned. I did the test like they do on the infomercial. I cleaned the carpet with my old vacuum. I went over the same carpet with the Shark and the I couldn't believe how much more dust it picked up. I threw out my old vacuum on garbage day.

Works great and has an amazing amount of suction. Carpets have never looked cleaner.

Worth every penny. This vacuum is powerful and versatile. Highly recommend.

So far so good , has great suction and definitely picks up dog hair. Occasionally it won't turn on because attachments are not clicked in all the way

We love our new vacuum! We have two dogs that together made cleaning floors a chore I had to do nearly every day! All that has now changed, and now I have more time to play with our dogs than cleaning up after them! :)

We had a shark navigator for the last 8 years and were always happy with it. It finally gave out while the wife was vacuuming our area rug. Went on best buy and purchased us another Shark. Definitely not disappointed. Love the no hair tangle brush. Love the powered lift away canister for under the bed and for stairs.

I've found the lift-away feature to work great on my stairs and for being able to get under furniture. I have both carpet and luxury vinyl flooring, and it works well on both. Love this vacuum.

This is a great vacuum. It's got great hard floor polishing action and does a great job on sand debris as well as hair and dust. Bwing able to adust the bypas for different floors maks a big difference for area rugs and transitions. Has as good of suction as any vacuum I've tried.

An incredible vacuum with amazing suction! Also a very versatile machine!

After purchasing this unit we conducted a simple experiment. We made sure the filters were clean and the canister was empty, set the Shark to the proper height for our carpet and vacuumed. We then immediately vacuumed the same areas with our other vacuum (Eureka Boss 4D bagless). We picked up a substantial amount with the Eureka that the Shark left behind. Perhaps most notable was my wife's long hair, but also good deal of dust/dirt. The Shark is very maneuverable, but the width is quite narrow and light, almost toy-like. I would say it is more appropriate for bare floors than for carpet. Lastly, because it does not have a proper front guard, it will pick up anything (e.g., wires, cloths, etc.) that it comes in contact with, which can jam the unit.

Seriously good!! I really love this vacuum and have had great luck using it often. My dog loses so much hair I swear, I could make a second dog out of her. This vacuum does the job perfectly and is pretty to look at too.
