Very powerful, very happy. Love the no tangle brushes too.

I needed something to replace an old vacuum that just wasn't cutting it anymore. After reading reviews and finding this on sale, I decided to try it out. We have a Dyson as well for another floor, but I didn't want the price tag again. I vaccumed the same area twice, once with the old, then with this one. The bin was full the second time. This vacuum picked up so much packed in dirt that the carpet feels like new. I'm impressed with how much dirt it got out. The swivel head also makes getting around furniture legs a breeze. I noticed previous reviews mentioned the hand attachment stops spinning during use because it's air powered. I did have this issue, but once I changed the handle setting to bare floor, it sounded like a jet taking off. No more stopping the spinning unless you press down really hard. Works perfectly on stairs. I do wish there was a holder on the vacuum for that attachment though. Overall a great vacuum. I feel it holds its own against our Dyson, so very happy with this purchase.

The only reason that I did not give it the 5th star is the dust bin capacity. I wish it was a little more. Otherwise it is the strongest suction vacuum I have ever owned. I have two Alaskan Malamutes and they have killed two Dyson uprights and the Dyson canister just doesn't have enough power. I love lift away option, it is one of the most useful features I have seen. Time will tell if it will hold up or whether the Malamute hair will kill it too.

This vacuum has very good suction! I have a shark navigator and that doesn’t even compare to this one! It’s was hard to get use to at first but I’m so impressed with the amount of dirt it gets!

I’ve had this vacuum for a year and a half and it still runs like new. Dog hair, cat hair, two adults with hair past their shoulders, carpet and hard floors. Worth the money!

My parents have the Shark Rotater upright vacuum and this is noticeably heavier going up and down stairs with. The suction strength is better though, picking up a lot more dirt and pet hair on the first pass than the Rotater.

I love this new Shark Vertex DuoClean as it was an upgrade from my Shark DuoClean M series vacuum. The suction is fantastic, the cord has good length and it comes with a plethora of tools to clean the sofas, curtains, and hard-to-reach areas.

This is by far the best vacuum my family has ever owned. I mean it totally sucks in the best way possible. All the attachments and canister removal is awesome as well.

This vacuum is AMAZING!! We have 5 dogs and it has no problem keeping up with all of the hair. The No wrap rollers are no joke either! It is a bit heavy, but not an issue considering the cleaning power.

Much too heavy to use all around the house. The noise level was ok but not great as compared to Kenmore we had. We are going to splurge and get a Miele.

Great vacuum for carpet and hardwood. The suction is amazing! I use the “lift off” feature a lot more than I thought I would. I am very pleased with my purchase!

I have had two Dyson Animals over the last 15 years or so. I will NOT be going back! I almost bought the Dyson Animal 2, glad I didn't. This is so much more versatile, turns easier, and the features trump the Dyson in every way, and its easier on the wallet. Watch the youtube reviews...you will be impressed.

There's truth in the saying, "You get what you pay for". Everything about the vacuum is amazing. The way it handles, how easy it is to change between the thick carpets to bare floor literally at your fingertip. It was easy to assemble. The color isn't bad to look at either. This is an investment I'm glad I made.

So easy to put together and clean the dust bin. Also, suction power is strong and the attachments work nicely.

It has proven to be quite reliable and relatively easy to maintain.

I have heard of the shark vacuums on this one is absolutely the best. I love how it lays flat to go underneath the couch and there isn’t a brush for anything to get stuck in. My son just ordered one.

Shark is my favorite brand of vacuums. I had my last one for at least 8 years. Money well spent! I will say the only thing I don’t like about this newer model is that the headlights turn off when you take the wand out. Other than that it’s fantastic! Even better suction than my last one.

Great vacuum cleaner with amazing suction! I own several shark vacuums and floor mops and can say shark makes quality items that hold up to heavy use.

The best vacuum by far for pet owners. Love the ease of use and how light weight it feels while vacuuming. Super easy to empty too! Would definitely recommend!
