Works great and does a great job. Only complaint is weight, but it's not a deal breaker.

I can’t believe how great my floors look after vacuuming. I’m really happy with this vacuum. Only downside, is cleaning the canister. It’s a little narrow but I was able to clean out with a duster.

Machine is difficult for this senior lady to turn - once it turns it is hard to get back to straight up- like the machine. One problem is that it does not shut the brush off, I needed it to shut the brush off.

Works great picks up a lot of dust and dog hair! Easy to empty and use on the stairs.

I did a lot of research and this vacuums was worth every minute. Total game changer with multiple flooring types in one house I had several implements for floor cleaning, now I just need this and my wet Swiffer and done!

Great Vaccum. Until it became defective for the second time around. I had exchanged it once already and the power keeps shutting down on certain days. Too heavy for me at time. Cleans great but handling it is confusing.

I purchased this to replace a Dyson pet vacuum I had for about seven years. This machine is amazing I’ve had no hair tangles a collects all the hair and dust. We have two dogs a heeler and champagne lab they both heavily shed. This works so much better then our old dyson. Removes pet hair and dirt with ease.

This is one of the only vacuums I could find, where the tank lifts off, and the beater head (floors) can be used to vacuum under beds & furniture. It is great!

Lot of suction, but my old Hoover turbo vac with the brush head works better at getting up the dog hair. I think Shark needs to have a replacement brush roller to make this a better vacuum.

Forget the Dyson. Shark exceeds in every way including price.

Exactly what I needed have 4 dogs. It is easily put together. It does a pretty good job of getting the baseboards and It easily empties.

My daughter bought this vacuum first and I was impressed with the filter system and how well it picked up hair. I bought this one for myself and I am very pleased. Best vacuum I've ever used and that's counting a LOT of vacuum cleaners of various makes and models over the years.

Amazing how much this picks up. We used our old Shark (about 5 year old model) first after getting this then ran this after to see if it was better. It was a lot better, picked up a ton of hair, dirk, etc.

I have always loved the shark vacuum cleaners my biggest complaint is the lights shut off the vacuum when you use the wand! I still want to see!

Best Vacuum EVERR! I am stunned. The amount this picked up right after I used my previous Shark, shocking. It is definitely worth the extra money, you wont regret it. My boyfriend does but who cares, he isn't the one who uses it. Do it. You need it.

This vacuum is AMAZING! We have 2 dogs including a German Shepherd that sheds like crazy! Our old vacuum couldn't keep up. The first time I used the Shark Vertex on our area rug my wife, who was extremely critical of our old machine, said that the rug looked like new! Couldn't be happier!

Always had a Dyson. My Purple Dyson has lasted me over 15 years, well the hose had a rip in it and thought maybe its time to just buy a newer vacuum. All my friend swore the Shark is by far the best. Well... I am totoally not convinced. It is hard to maneuver, the collecting basket needs to be emptied more often, the suction is about the same, the no tangle roller keeps getting the "red" light that is stating somethings tangled on the roller, The parts seems like a cheaper plastic. Just have mixed feelings about it for sure. :(
