    "Upgraded" from the Eufy Pet edition which I've loved for the last few years but I was really wanting to get into the premium field of "Mapping" to get aware from the mundane chasing the vacuum around when it chewed on socks, cords and occasional dog treats. The initial impression I would say 4 stars due to the amount of noise coming off this thing although you can lower the vacuum power and mopping wetness. Where this thing fails is the app and the multiple double mapping that occurs. After a deleting a mapped 1 Bdrm 1 bath apartment after a few more scheduled cleanings it starts to map another layer taking away my main purpose of this feature. I bought this device to schedule certain rooms for cleaning ie just the living room and not the entire apartment. Another issue I notice is the Deebot takes multiple attempts to clean an entire room or it docks itself due to objects on the floor ie. shoes, a mat, cables, floor fan etc. Although these things it avoids not getting stuck like my previous vacuum it's still not a reason to stop and dock wasting an entire day while I'm at work not cleaning. The other neat feature is the camera install but does not have night vision. There's a mode to have it "patrol" which is pretty neat but you can view the video while its cleaning?! You also cannot manually control it without entering its video mode. My previous vacuum allowed you to manual control it which was nice for a quick clean up.

    This was the fastest delivery ever. I ordered it at 11pm and it was at my front door at 10am the next morning. I had it vacuuming by 11am. It did the whole bottom floor and did not get stuck once. The auto empty failed because the duct bin was packed full. Maybe next time the floor won't be so dirty.

    My daughter purchased this for me for Christmas last year. This machine was great at first. Within a few months, it had to be sent back for repair. It is working but gets tangled frequently in the middle of cleaning. The machine is louder than it was when we first got it. I do like the maps although info find that it forgets the map frequently and needs to remap the area. It’s a good machine but not good enough for the $800 that she paid.

    23 Months of owning this mop/vacuum and I don't think is worth the money for the following reasons: 1) the sensor is broke without anyone hitting or mistreating the robot. Now I'm having to send it to the repair shop $50 of shipping costs. Don't know how much repair will cost yet. 2) map fails all the time and I have to reset it once a week to work 3) the laser supposedly detects objects - not true, it does climb my stools in the island and gets stuck all the time until the map is re-set 4) mop is so so, even the newer mopping plate is not thatgreat

    Got dust? Get Rid of It with this unit

    Love the unit but was disappointed with its ability to adjust to various floor rugs. Other than that it is a go to unit to buy.

    Auto empty does not work. Never returns to station when full. When it returns to charge it does not empty. States it did not empty and solutions do not help or apply. Ecovacs is no help, Told me to take it up with Best Buy. Returned and will not purchase another item from Ecovacs.

    Not very promising. Battery is supposed to last 3 hours(I’m assuming on lowest setting which is what I’ve been using) but I’m only getting 90 minutes before it runs out and has to return to the dock and is brand new. Vacuum is ok but not great. Auto empty doesn’t work due to the debris getting stuck. I’d recommend another product for what you’re paying for this hunk of junk

    Drunk Robots/ Bin bags extremely hard to get

    Worse vacuum I’ve ever spent money on, it literally is drunk cleaning my house gets stuck on Everything and then when you get it unstuck it will literally go right back into the spot it got stuck. Mopping is worthless and not worth the money. I recommend spending the extra money and IRobot hands down, I regret buying this thing!

    DO NOT BUY ECOVACS - BUYER BEWARE

    Do not buy Ecovacs, they will not stand behind their product. Bought an Ecovac in May of 2020. It broke (the wheels stopped moving) in December of 2020. I got a replacement in February 2021 and that one broke in September 2021. They refuse to replace the replacement Ecovac Deebot. Shouldn't a replacement reset the warranty period? I think if your product is so bad that it breaks in 7 months, you should warranty the replacement for another year.
