Picking up dirt like a champ!

Bissel once again made an amazing vacuum cleaner but this time it’s a carpet cleaner for pets. I found the product useful picking up dirt and grime pets left behind but I like to make a warning to whomever interested in this product. This is for small walkways and smaller areas in general; this is NOT for large areas. If your pet makes an accident this will pick it up on the fly. The box is lightweight enough to carry around but Unboxing the item there’s only three easy steps to put it together. The instructions are self-explanatory and easy to read. Design of the vacuum is nice with the green and gray accents; definitely not a horrible colorway. The A/C cord isn’t long at all but it gets halfway around the living room for my use. BISSELL’s TurboClean works flawlessly picking up dirt. So much dog hair was scooped up from the ground for my dirty carpet. I have a shedding English bulldog so I know how it can be with the pet hair. This does pick that up and more on its own. As I said before this is for smaller areas not whole carpet cleaning. Filling the Water reservoir was easy enough, Bissel gives you just enough carpet cleaner to try it out a few times but I managed to get my own. They have quite a bit of variety for carpet cleaners including one with Oxy bubbles. You hold the trigger as you vacuum backwards then move forward to clean the area. Water fills the dirt tank on the carpet vacuum so you can see the dirt for yourself being picked up. It’s also pretty easy emptying the dirty water just not a convenient spot as some dirty water stay trapped in the tank. Overall I like the vacuum especially for smaller areas as it do a fantastic job picking a pet hair and dirt at the same time. And left my area clean where it was high traffic as well. I give it 5/5 stars.

love this machine. not only for how it works but i like how it looks as well. easy to use and does a great job. its easy to dump the water tank out. couple clips to undo and has a handle to pull tank off. the tank that holds the water and solution though takes a little bit to pull off. not hard per say but you have to give it a good tug. if i had to find a fault, this would be it along with it being long as well. makes it hard or impossible to fill it up in a sink. not that going to use the tub is hard but for those that might not have a tub. it also would have been nice to maybe see a plastic stand for it. i have a smaller rug cleaner and it has a plastic stand that you put the cleaner in. you then can fill it with water, turn the cleaner on and have it suck up the water to clean. as for cleaning the rug. it did a great job doing that. i did a small spot and i can see a big difference. at first i could not tell as the rug was wet which gives it a darker look so it looked the same. but the following day i could easily see were i had used the rug cleaner at. the rug does stay a little damped but not to bad. it is only for rugs. i guess there is a adaptor you can purchase separately to do hard floors with if you want. if you have a big area, you push the machine foward, then back while holding the trigger, then you go over again without holding the trigger. (then repeat until water is clear that is sucked in). so you would need to do farther spot (like mopping) and do small spots if you dont want to walk on the area you do. overall love having this rug cleaner. other then how dirty the water looks lol.

    Keeps Carpets Clean

The BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner is a miracle worker. I have two kids and a dog, which means there are plenty of opportunities to clean up stains. Thanks to the BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, keeping the carpets clean is no longer a challenge. I must say I have always been a fan of the Bissell carpet cleaner as I used one in the past that always worked well. Yet, the BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner is amazing. It's lightweight and easily maneuvers around furniture. I can carry it up/down the stairs with ease, and it's easy to use. Minimal assembly is required, only takes 5 minutes (if that). I love the updated design. The reservoir is easy to fill and the collection tank is simple to remove and empty. The only complaint I would have about this BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner is that it does not include the option for a detachable hose to use on smaller stairs or small areas, like furniture. Still, it is an excellent machine! Durable, and high performing. It gets out tough stains, like sauce or mud with easy. The bristles extract dirt and debris from the carpet without damaging it. Truly an amazing machine. I highly recommend the BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner. You carpets will thank you.

I bought this for our house. I wish I bought a more heavy duty one, preferably with heat. It does what it’s suppose to. But I feel like it doesn’t clean up as well as it should. If you have pets expect this to get clogged constantly.

    Fairly disappointing carpet cleaner

Let me start off by saying, I love Bissell Vacuums. My current vacuum is a Bissell and it is hands down, the best vacuum I have ever used. With that in mind, I was eager to try out Bissell’s carpet cleaner…Unfortunately, it fails to deliver. To start off, one of the best features about this carpet cleaner, is how lightweight it is. The handle can extend and detract into itself, making it easy to store and carry around. The cleaner is small, including the tank. The bright side to this, it makes cleaning out the vacuum and storing it - much easier. The downside, it will require multiple times of emptying the tank if you plan on cleaning more than one room. The cleaner doesn’t come with any attachments or extensions, so if you’re looking to clean stairs you’re out of luck. The biggest disappointment I have, is the power of the cleaner, it severely lacks any real power. Once I started cleaning and spraying the solution on the carpet, it took forever for the carpet to dry. The drying mechanism in the cleaner is very poor, and almost nonexistent. I would spend 10 minutes going over the same spot trying to dry it, only to find out it was still very wet. Another problem with the cleaner, is it does a terrible job at cleaning heavy or even light dirt spots. Once the carpet is done, now you have to rinse out and clean the carpet cleaner. Like I mentioned before, it is fairly easy to clean out the tank due to the smaller size. The way Bissell designed this, makes it very easy to take apart and clean. It’s just a matter of detaching, rinsing and putting it back together. Overall, I am pretty disappointed with how the cleaner performs. It didn’t do a very good job at removing any sort of dirt stains, and it does a terrible job at drying the carpet. The cleaner, has nothing special about it, no interesting features, or even any attachments. As much as I like Bissell vacuums, sadly I would have to give this a hard pass.

The Bissell TurboClean PowerBush Pet Carpet Cleaner does what it claims to do, and does it well -- though actual run-time (defined by the amount of solution that is carried in a container on the cleaner) is somewhat limited. Let's start with this issue first. The plastic container that can be filled mostly with water and topped off with a particular Bissell solution looks to be about half- to three-fourths a gallon, which basically means you have up to 40 square feet before having to refill the container again. This process isn't difficult by any means -- it's simply different than if you're using a full-on carpet cleaner that likely has more mileage to go before having to change things out. Regardless, when filling this container first with water up to its water line, and then topping off with an included sample bottle of solution to the solution line, I had no issues with getting stains out of our carpet. This includes both notoriously famous Georgia clay as well as run-of-the-mill pet messes (especially urine). These stains had been sitting for at least several months, and they were not pre-treated before I engaged the cleaner. Your mileage will definitely vary, but on a simple pass (based on operating instructions), I was able to remove virtually all stains, where only one was significantly reduced (I could have either made more passes against it, or simply give the stain a go again when I next set up to clean). The instructions for setup and operation are clear and straightforward. The head of the cleaner appears to be a bit overly engineered (seriously -- if you get the cleaner, taking a look at it makes it appear like it's an elaborate labyrinth of compartments), however once you get the process down for draining used water/solution, you'll get how it works. Also, be sure to keep an eye for how far the head is filling; towards the top-left there's an open area that's covered by a filter sponge that will shoot spurts of water out if you let the head get too full. In spite of the caveats (if you can call them that), I was really impressed with this cleaner. It will absolutely pick up pet stains (and, it looks like, others) from your carpet. There's only so much solution you can use at a time, so don't expect to clean an entire typical living room without filling up several times. And the cleaner doesn't get the floor horribly wet in the process, and the solution is pet-safe, so you don't have to worry about the right time to clean soiled areas. A great introductory benefit to purchasing the cleaner is the 50% off coupon that comes with it, based on buying Bissell's three-product combo cleaner pack, which I naturally went after. That way, we're ready for the long term with whatever messes we get. If you're looking for a good, basic carpet cleaner to pick up small to large soiled carpet spots, this is the one to get.

The Bissell Turbo Clean Power Brush Pet Carpet Cleaner is going to really help me around the house! Many don't know this, but cats can leave urine on the carpet just like dogs - it's just not as obvious. When they're not thrilled about something and want to make a point, this is their way to do it. I can smell it but usually I can't find it until a week or so later when I can see the stain in the carpet. In the past I had to get on my hands and knees and scrub and scrub hoping I could remove the stain. In comes the Bissell Turbo Clean Power Brush Pet Carpet Cleaner, and my life has improved. Easy to put together and use with great instructions, as soon as it was delivered, I put it to use. I went after that urine stain and I won! The carpet cleaner operates much like a vacuum: a pedal to step on to lower the "arm", a pedal to turn it on/off & it has a roller bar to assist with the cleaning. Fill the removable plastic clean water tank with very warm water and solution (sample included), attach the tank, plug it in and go. There is a trigger you hold down that releases the solution. I went back and forth over the spot first holding the trigger, then without which sucks the water out of the carpet. I did this a couple times and what a thrill it was to see the dirty water come out into the dirty water tank!! Success!! Spot removed, odor gone and it dried relatively quickly. I cleaned out the easily removable dirty water tank and I was done. Easy to use, and with its smaller profile, it's easy to store - this isn't intended as a big house cleaner so I will store it in the garage until the next time I need to clean a little something left behind! I think I will even leave it with the water tank leftover solution so I don't have to throw it away. This cleaner works great for me. What more could I want? I would definitely recommend this to those wanting to clean a smaller area - a room, or a hallway or as a spot cleaner. It would take longer, but I imagine you could do several rooms with it as well.

Easy assembly approximately 2 minutes. Easy access to clean brush. Very light weight, easy to handle. Worked good on small fresh stains. I tried it on some older stains and they did not completely disappear but looked alot better. Very compact, easy to store away. The receiving tank is easy to remove, but, took alot of rinsing to clean. I do prefere this machine over a hand held get on your knees unit. Would definitely recommend this!

This carpet cleaner does the job pretty well. It scrubs the carpet and so far, any mess I have put it up against has been no match for the scrubbing power! When it first comes out of the box there is some very minor assembly. The instructions are very specific about the installation of the handle and how to use it. I never had an issue, but if you don't have the handle installed properly and fully extended, it won't spray cleaner out when you squeeze the trigger. Adding the cleaner and water is a breeze with the removable tank on the back. Cleanup of the dirty water tank is simple as well. Just pull one clip on either side of the tank and off comes the tank. Rinse and put it back! I also really like how compact the unit is. It may take awhile to clean large areas, but storing the unit is easy due to the compact size. My only complaint about this carpet cleaner is the materials used to build it. The vacuum, while light weight, feels kind of flimsy. The build quality doesn't feel premium. Only time will tell if it will hold up. All in all, its a decent carpet cleaner. It lost one star due to build quality. It will work for most every day cleanup on your carpet!

The Bissell Turboclean Powerbrush Pet Deep Cleaner vacuum is overall a great cleaning tool to have on hand. The vacuum is very easy to assemble and use. The directions to assemble the vacuum are clear and easy to follow. Once the vacuum is assembled it feels and looks like a quality machine. The water tank holds enough water to clean a hallway without the machine feeling heavy. The machine sucks up the dirty water pretty good and you can see the machine cleaning immediately. Since this is almost the same size as a regular vacuum, it is very easy to store. Another aspect that I love is how easy it is to clean the dirty water tank. I do have a dog so after I was finished using the vacuum, I cleaned out the brush roll and the removable nozzle. There was so much hair I couldn’t believe how good it was at picking it up. I have used it multiple times since and it still cleans as good as the first time.

We put hardwood flooring in our main areas, but the rest of the house has carpet flooring. With stairs with a small landing, lugging a heavy vacuum can, and will be, frustrating. With two boys (literally) running all over the house, tracking dirt from outside, spilling food and snacks, we wanted to get a carpet cleaner at home so we wouldn’t have to pay every time. The Bissell is light, marketed at 12 lbs, but subjectively, not imposing to carry up the stairs. It stands upright like a typical upright vacuum, and it has a fairly small footprint so it doesn’t take up our entire closet. Yo can see the solution and stuff being cleaned out of the carpets being sucked up in the clear window which is nicely satisfying. It works well, and it’s light enough to carry up and down the stairs as needed.

My worst fear with carpet cleaners is that it will heighten the fact that I have a four-legged family member. How so you ask? By transforming the carpet from regular-doggy-smell to wet-doggy-smell. Our new house thankfully has wood floors in most rooms. However,we still have a couple carpeted rooms and hallways where our pup "does the dinosaur" (use your imagination on that). A giant, turbo, 300 lb mega unit was not needed for such areas. The BISSELL - TurboClean™ on the other hand seemed to fit the bill for what we needed. I was immediately struck by how light the BISSELL - TurboClean™ is. Growing up in the 80's,I have memories of my uncle dragging out his gigantic cleaner, and as he put it - "making a weekend out of it'. Literally. Back then the tech was basically a high powered vacuum that wouldn't electrocute you if you sucked up fluids.. Anyway, I digress. This thing is super light. Lighter than my actual vacuum. Literature that came with it says 14 lbs. I'd say that is accurate. Setting the scene,my test area is a 15 foot long x 5 foot wide stretch of carpet in a side hallway. Our little monster uses this area as his "drag strip" (again, use your imagination). Everything is pretty straight forward as far as the BISSELL - TurboClean™ setup goes. It feels solid. Enough so that I'm confident that my giant clumsy self won't drop and break something. There are dual tanks. one for clean, and one for the dirty fluid.Roughly a half gallon. With that in mind, this is the perfect time to say that if you have wall to wall carpet in your whole house, the BISSELL - TurboClean™ may not be the cleaner for you, and you may want to step up to the next in this same Bissell line. This is more for the home-owner who either has a minimally carpeted home,or you wish to *just* use it to spot clean pet messes. So with my BISSELL - TurboClean™ unboxed, filled, and plugged in, we are ready to go. This little beauty sure has some power hidden inside its deceptively light shell. Even with a full tank we are lighter than my regular vac. The multi-row DirtLifter® PowerBrush really digs in,giving me confidence that along with the included Bissell Oxy cleaner, the TurboClean™ is doing it's job. The EdgeSweep™ bristles also actually did their job surprisingly well. I did half of the above mentioned hallway just to see the difference, Next time I'll share pics. The "dirty" fluid being sucked up was quite the revelation. Keep in mind that I used this after vacuuming the area with a powerful vacuum. What that tells me, is that not only is the TurboClean™ scrubbing the carpet, but is also sucking out yucky stuff that is far below the surface, and possibly from the padding below. The one con, which docked it from being a perfect 5, is that it leaves the carpet damp. Not soggy, just damp. This can be solved by getting a "box" type fan to increase the air circulation in the area that was cleaned, speeding up the drying process. Right after using the TurboClean™ I could tell a marked difference. It almost looked like two different colored carpets! Once dry,it made my "test" portion of the carpet brand new, and the nearby uncleaned portion leaving me with a panic attack that wasn't resolved until i used the TurboClean™ on it as well. There's something about clean carpets that can't really be explained. Perhaps it's all psychological, due to seeing all the dirty water getting removed? As far as storage goes, the TurboClean™ has you covered. The handle retracts, allowing it to be stored almost anywhere. Even in my already cluttered office with no problem. Prior to putting it up, I recommend using the ability to remove and clean the nozzle. Which is a handy feature. Upon thinking i was done with the review, man's best friend decided to do a #1 inside instead of barking to notify me that he needed to go outside.. I again, was amazed at the volume that was sucked out of the carpet. This beats my previous "scrub it with a towel" technique, hands down.Any day! Not only does it clean better and remove odors, but it is also, dare I say it -- fun! Again, seeing all that dirty water in the dirty fluid holder gives confidence that the Bissell is doing its job, and doing it well. My plan is to clean the rest of my minimally carpeted home. Again, this product is too small, in my opinion,to clean an entire house. but the BISSELL - TurboClean™ is just what the doctor ordered for small spaces, or for spot cleaning "spills and leaks". So if you are in the market for a carpet cleaner for the prior mentioned situations, you can't go wrong with theBISSELL - TurboClean™!!!!

The Bossiello turbo clean powerbrush pet is very compact which works great for us living in a condo with limited storage space. It is also not heavy. I love the retractable handle and the powerful suction that it provides. I’ve had a lot of vacuums but we still go back to Bissell when all options are on the table. Installation was a breeze, you open up the package have two screws to connect the top to the bottom portions. Big green and red buttons on the base for on and off. How well does it work? Well my two kitties are not messy enough so far for me to try it out but it works very well and not overly loud as you would expect and hope for. Feels like well made (even though it is all or mostly all plastic).

I love my carpet cleaner. I live in a duplex and I'm pretty sure the carpet wasn't cleaned before I moved in. The carpet looked fairly clean, so I was shocked at how much dirt this was able to pull up from the carpet. I've attached a picture of the water tank to show how much this cleaner pulled. It stores easily and does a great job. The tank is a little small, but I'm able to get one pass per room before I need to refill the tank.
