So I started with the V11 and when I upgraded to this model...just WOW, I feel like it has more suction options and comes with so many accessories for all types of areas. The laser piece only applies to the hardwood/tile cleaner headtype but it does highlight where all the dirt is so you know where to vaccumn or where you missed. This is by far their best model and I highly recommend it.

This is by far my best purchase yet this year. I kept stalling and didn't get this during every major sales last year because I wondered if it was really worth it but I must say it was INDEED worth it. I had an old vacuum that I thought was doing a good, however, compared to this, it was mediocre. The Dyson V15 does what it was meant to do! Picks up dust and dirt. I worked on my carpet and was surprised at the amount of dust/dirt it picked up, the suction power is top notch. The laser one especially blew my mind. I love how it would direct you to the dirt your eyes wouldn't have caught. In all this is a great purchase, if you are skeptical, do not hesitate on this one. It is worth every penny. Several Pros - Gets the job done, it has al the accessories you need for a clean home, it is wireless/cordless and even nice you can make it hand held, the anti-tangle comb (I've never had to use my hand to remove stuck hair), the floor auto-detect feature - this literally changes the suction power based on the debris or floor type it detects. The only con I can possibly highlight is the battery life. On full boost - which does the work extremely well - it lasts about 20 minutes at most but honestly, this also depend on the cleaner head/brush tool you are using.

This vacuum has excellent suction and the floor cleaning attachment with laser is nice since it shows all the dust and dirt on the floor so you don’t miss any spots. Able to do two floors of 3500 sq ft cabin on single charge provided running in medium power setting. Light weight and easy to use

Love that it lights up all dust and makes you realize when you need to make an extra pass or two to get all the dust and pet hair, etc. The quality is excellent and suction/power is great. Always amazing to see the dust bin filled with what looked like a clean floor.

What a great vac! The fit and finish of all the pieces is precise. It was even packed extremely well. it works great and once I figured out how to reduce the suction on my flat carpets it does a great job and is easy to use. The laser shows EVERY speck of dust and it makes it easy to get every speck of dust. Just a great machine.

LOVE me a good Dyson, man this thing sucks in all the best ways. Got this to replace an older previous model that broke, but this one has been great. And that green laser really let you know just how dirty the floors are.

This is a great vacuum. The price point is a little tough to swallow, but I've found that it was worth it. The vacuum has so much power, but still manages to stay really quiet (we live in an apartment so that was really important for us). It also comes with so many attachments that you're ready for any potential mess! I would highly recommend this purchase.

Laser function is unbelievable. Loved it. I have never experienced a charge problem. Battery is much more than enough for a full house vacuuming. Vacuum power is fantastic. Only negative part of it could be emptying the tank and cleaning the parts and accessories. But overall I can give 5 stars to it.

The suction is amazing for a stick vacuum and the battery life is amazing. We can vacuum our 3600sq all hardwood home in one charge. Works great but if you have a lot of pets like we do, it gets clogged before the canister is full. As long as you clean it when it gets to about 2/3 full you’ll be fine.

After careful consideration and extensive online researching for the best cordless vacuum currently available in the market. I purchased my true first Dyson. This vacuum lives up to its name. Exceeds its predecessors; I ended up returning the v10. I definitely saw a huge difference. Powerful, effective and picks up more than the naked eye could ever identify. Using my old vacuum and mopping on a weekly basis, I was shocked to see all of what my new Dyson v15 had picked up thereafter, from what I thought were “clean” floors and carpets (see image). It’s pricey but well worth it. Only one CON: I don’t recommend for those with severe level of hand conditions such as arthritis, carpal tunnel, dequervains, etc. I have de quervains on my right hand and I had to vacuum with my left. It’s a little heavy for me only because of my condition. I recommend going to the store in person and picking it up for yourself to see how well you can manage. For me, it definitely does not warrant returning the item since I can manage it with my left perfectly fine. But that’s the only caveat. I LOVE this vacuum, well worth the investment.

Wow! I’m impressed. I originally purchased this new Dyson vacuum for battery life since I’ve had my old Dyson v10 for years but it was always dead. However, with all the new features on the v15, it makes sense why it’s such high price. The laser technology really does bring show you particles you can’t see in regular light. Many demos show them going through an area but doesn’t show the vacuum moving back to see the difference, but when I tested it, now I know why BECAUSE IT WORKS and you don’t have to go over a spot twice. This works for people w pets in the home and people with very sensitive allergies. Now I with all the attached tools had the laser technology. Keep in mind, the new fluffy laser tool is designed specifically for wood flooring/tile, but Dyson includes many other attachments for carpet, such as their newly developed motorhead. If you’re debating to purchase, just do it. Try it out! Cons: you cannot use the vacuum straight out of the box and the battery has to be 100% charged, no less. It look 1+ hours to charge the battery the first time around. When using the smaller tools, the Dyson V15 does get tiring on the arm since it’s heavier due to the size of the container.
