Honestly it was a gift to help relieve the anxiety and stress on her. She was the one to pic it out. Till this day it has been one of the biggest things that my family uses. It really is everything you need in a vacuum.

Not as much of a gimmick as I expected. Downside is that this one is lighter and so has smaller battery than previous models so doesn't last as long, but the battery is removable so you can buy extras.

Worthy upgrade from older smaller cordless

I have an older smaller cordless one which worked great in my apartment and the small town house we lived in. Now that we moved into a bigger home having something with more power and better battery has been great. Dyson can be pricey but if you take care of it and make sure to empty the bin and keep the brush heads clean I have no issues.

Battery life on the V6 was terrible after a while. I could only clean a couple of rooms at a time. With this one I can clean the whole apartment with 70% life left. Also, the canister is much easier to empty. The V6 was a pain in the butt. Glad I bought it.
