    Great product but bad support from both BB and Dyson. Hours on the phone BB referring me to Dyson and they have little concept of Customer Service

    I have always purchased Dyson, but this time I return it because I found Tineco Vacuum and gave it a try. What and excellent product this Tineco is, so I returned my Dyson and now I’m $300 in pocket with a much better vacuum. It even has extra filters and an app that tells you what you are doing.

    Got it, set it up, ran it 5-10 minutes with fluffy laser head and digital display started barking about cleaning the filter. The vacuum is brand new and use for 10 minutes? Took of filter clean and new. Bad sensor. Look on web everyone complains about it. Dyson said return it to the store or register product and they could send parts. Returned it. FYI, I have a 6 year old V8 Animal that still works and the laser fluffy head worked on it. The laser is not contingent on V15 vacumm, its just has a power generator that spins when vacuum starts sucking, thus creating low voltage for laser. I just bought a fluffy laser head on Ebay for $130.00. Dyson part #: Laser Slim Fluffy Cleaner Brush Head 971360-01. The V15 did not vacuum any better than the old V8, other than the laser. The new design is top heavy and not balanced like older model.

    This Dyson comes with two cleaner heads, the Laser Slim Fluffy cleaner head for hard floors and a high torque cleaner head for area rugs and carpets. I used the laser slim fluffy on my hardwood floors and the laser really does illuminate the dirt and dust. So much so in fact that it showed me that my floors were not as clean as I thought. I’ve been using an old canister vacuum that I thought was powerful enough to suck up all the dust but the laser showed me it wasn’t. The laser fluffy actually sweeps the floor with the brush head removing all the dust. I ran it on the auto mode and the power adjusted to the amount of dirt/dust on the floor just as advertised. There are three power modes, economy, medium/auto, and boost. Auto is only for the brush/cleaner head attachments. I used the High Torque cleaner head on my area rugs, and again it worked as advertised, increasing power as needed and deep cleaning my rugs without getting any hair wound around the roller like what happens with my old vacuum. The power unit has an LCD screen that counts and categorizes the particles picked up as you vacuum and shows the time remaining before recharging is needed. The first time I used it the count was over two trillion! Subsequent cleanings are now in the one trillion range. (I have two dogs & a cat.) The machine comes with a good size filter that traps the dust and allergens. It advertises up to 60 minutes of run time and that’s about what I have been getting, doing 5 rooms with hardwood floors and 2 with area rugs on hardwood floors. It also comes with a power upholstery brush that is a mini version of the high torque rug/carpet head. It’s also very efficient but I found that I needed to set the power to economy because the higher settings are just too powerful. The suction was so hard that I had difficulty moving the brush over the material. The other attachments include a soft & hard bristle brush, and crevice tool. All the attachments can be attached to the end of the wand or directly to the power unit for handheld cleaning. There is a plastic clip-on convenience holder that will hold 2 attachments on the wand. The bin is easy to empty with a slide mechanism that pops the bin open so the unit can be held directly over a trash receptacle when emptying. A docking station is included so the unit can be wall mounted. Overall this cordless vac works as advertised – it’s very powerful, it deeps cleans, and the laser really does show all the hair, dust, and dirt on the floor. The tangle-free brushes work great and the soft brush attachment does an excellent job of dusting. With all the attachments it's just about all that's needing for whole house vacuuming and dusting. The one thing that it won't do is reach as far under the couch and bed as my old cannister. It goes about half as far or a little more. But for convenience, dusting, and deep cleaning, it's far superior. And, it's much more powerful and better at cleaning than my old cordless stick vac. I think this Dyson would be a great choice for anyone looking for a new vacuum.

    Doesn’t hold battery well. Suction doesn’t work well. Tried to return but they didn’t let me. Too expensive and now just a waste.

    Particle counter and auto suction adjustment stopped working in first two weeks. Internet research suggests my experience is not unique. Unacceptable for any product, but embarrassing for one this expensive. Like other Dysons I’ve tried, great suction but terrible quality. A+ for Best Buy and their return process though.

    Not worth the hype.

    I bought this top of the line (at the time) Dyson because everyone raves about how great they are. I had to purchase a separate and expensive stand for it. The included wall mount was too basic. Battery runtime is low. Hair gets stuck when emptying the container. I have to reach in and pull it out. Other then the negatives I mentioned, the vacuum is ok. I think there's less expensive options that may work as well, if not better. I don't think this is worth the premium pricetag.

    I can do a normal 16 step stairway easily… but it takes almost all the battery! Then I have to wait a few hours for it to recharge before I can clean anywhere else. The suction is GREAT on boost but it will only last about 10 minutes I’ll be returning this. I have 2 upright dyson and 1 canister dyson that have lasted over 12 years but this one is going back!

Your machine offers three powerful suction modes to tackle any size mess in your home. The BOOST/MAX mode is ideal for those really hard to pick-up messes or larger debris where a powerful boost of suction would be needed. For example: if a potted plant were to be spilled, and you want to pull up the dirt really fast - then put it back on the charger. On this mode, this model will give you just about 5-7 minutes of run time, so it shouldn't be relied on for everyday cleaning jobs. If you do use it more frequently, we'd recommend washing the filter more frequently to help it from being overworked.     I honestly love this product, but it seems like it gets stuck whenever you use it for more than 30 minutes. It’s a good product, but not for the price.

    Great machine concept, good power poor battery life above all the critical part of this vacuum that made me return it is that it’s exceptionally heavy on the wrist and forearm. I used it like twice and I gave up. My wrist hurts so bad that to me $700 not worth that will give me medical bills. I will use my another non handheld vacuum.

    DO NOT BUY! first the LCD stopped working after 3 weeks, then then until itself stopped working... since purchasing the v15 it has not worked for 6 months now and trying to get dyson to either fix or replace under warranty has not been anything but pulling teeth. They have yet to address it or even attempt to do so. Never again with Dyson... overpriced bad support and simply doesnt work.
