Does not work, did not come with any power on feature will not turn on with remote

Unfortunately, this did not remove basic smells such as cooking, smoke, etc. as advertised.

It does not clean air and/or rid the room of odors.

Arrived without the Filter. Talked with Customer Service and was even more disappointed.

As for most of us air quality in our homes is important, now more than ever. Although I have a UV light on my HVAC it has a different purpose that the air purifier. First, this unit stands just under three feet tall and is about a foot and a half wide. Amazingly though even with it in plain sight most people do not notice it. Unpacking and setup is pretty straight forward. Once out of the box make sure to remove the filter housing and take the plastic off the HEPA filter then put it back in and plug in the unit. There is a remote control but I started with the control panel on the top. The control panel is a smooth touch panel that is easy to read. Once the unit is on, there really isn't much you need to do. I put the unit in auto mode and left it alone. I was expecting it to do something but it just quietly ran at low speed with the display showing the air quality at 100%. Not only is there a display on the top but also on the front of the unit. For convenience, the displays can be dimmed or even turned off. With the unit on I walked away and waited for it to do something. Two days later and it was still saying the air quality was at 100%. The next day, Saturday, I decided to make breakfast which included bacon. There is always some smoke with bacon and as I was cooking I heard the unit kick up a notch. It was not loud at all but could tell it was running at a higher rate. I look at the unit and the air quality was down to 67% and the unit was doing it's thing. Shortly after I was done cooking, the unit had the air quality back to 100%, there was no "smoke" in the house and the air didn't have a smell in the rest of the house! Once the air was clean the unit turned itself back down. Overall, this did exactly what it should have. Surprisingly the unit is not a "connected" unit. I would think this would/should integrate with smart home systems but it does not. At a minimum have an "app" so I can see what it is doing. The only issue I have had is that my wife's cat jumped on top of the unit and using the touchpad, turned the unit off one day. Other than that, I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to make sure that odors, dust and pollen are kept to a minimum in your home.

The Shark Air Purifier 6 is a great air purifier, with 6 fans and plenty of power to purify a large room worth of air. One of the headlining features is the Clean Sense IQ system which constantly measures air quality and adjusts the power of the fans accordingly. This system is displayed very uniquely on the top and front of the air purifier with a circular display that changes color from blue to yellow to red as the air quality it measures gets worst. Likewise, you can use the touch controls on the top of the unit to change the display so that you can view things like cleaning time, clean air percentage, and levels of different particle categories. One of the more interesting aspects of the air purifier is that it comes with a remote control which lets you also control many of the air purifier’s functions, which I personally don’t find myself using much at all as I tend to leave the purifier on “Auto” mode, which uses the Clean Sense IQ system to make the purifier a largely “set it and forget it” system. Over the past week I have found that the clean air percentage has largely sat near or at 100% around the clock, and when using the “Auto” mode, leaves the fans in their lowest mode, which while not silent, is very quiet. When I cook or use candles the air quality percentage will drop accordingly, and the fans will kick-up in response, blowing more air through the system the worst the air quality percentage. In general, I have found it can take a few hours to clean our larger living room/kitchen area, but you can watch at the percentage climb as the air quality normalizes over time. Likewise, the system can provide you with an estimated time to clean as well, which is a nice touch. If I had to choose a downside for the device, it would likely be down to its size. While it is powerful, it is also very tall, and will require some space to set-up. Thankfully, from an aesthetics standpoint, I do find it to be very good looking, and compliments the other tech in our living room very nicely. Also, if you wish to turn off the displays, you have that option as well to let the purifier blend into the background a bit more. On another note, the air filter is also very large, which could lead to a larger cost down the road for replacements, which is something to consider. Overall, I really like this purifier and would certainly recommend it for those in the market for a strong purifier in a larger room. It isn’t the “smartest” device it could be, and while the Clean Sense IQ works well, it still feels like a glorified automatic fan-speed changer at its core, rather than a true smart system. This being said, these are small complaints against an otherwise great performing and looking air purification system.

Worked for about a month, then plugged it in and totally dead.

I keep the air purifier on the auto setting & it works great. My home is approximately 1100 square feet. The unit is very quiet; I never hear it. The air quality typically shows 98-100 except when I’m cooking. When cooking, the quality shows high 70s - 80s; but then goes back up to 98-100 after a short time. I no longer sneeze so much & it seems like my allergies have gotten better.

This purifier is great for someone with allergies. One of my children has allergies, constantly trying figure out what I can do to help ease some of the reactions. I have been using this air purifier for a couple of weeks and I am very pleased with the results. First impression was size, it’s slender and a bit tall, definitely need a good space to put it in so your not feeling like it’s taking up too much space. It runs quiet so it’s great to run anytime without disturbance. I also was happy with the way it performed with flushing out the odor in the air. I don’t like after cooking that some smells stay in the air and I usually light a bunch of candles to help. Having this purifier it definitely helped clean up the food odor a lot.

I love this air purifier. I set it to auto and leave it. It monitors and cleans as needed. When ever we cook you can hear it ramping up. Great buy! Filters are a little pricey and hard to find.

So far purifier works great. I had bad allergies but this unit has helped Me considerably. Also leaves your Home a good cleaning smell throughout.

I am very glad to have purchased this unit. It is quiet and easy to use. Appreciate to know the quality of air we are breathing.

WORKS GREAT EASY TO OPERATE RUNS QUITE EASY TO MOVE AROUND

Have only had it for a couple of weeks, but it seems to be doing a great job of cleaning the air. You can see it ramping up when we cook and even when cleaning the bathroom and using various cleaning materials. It appears to be a very sensitive quality device.

I bought this as a replacement for my old air purifier and hands down this was an excellent product. Clears the room of smoke, dust, etc in a matter of minutes.

Great air purifier. We’re undergoing a kitchen remodel and the dust was horrible. I picked up the air purifier and I could see and feel it working. Worth it.

It helps get rid of odors while cleaning the air of any particles. Having a led screen that shows the air quality percentage is a good perk as well.

Works very well. Air quality and smell form cooking are much improved using this product. Filter are a little pricey though.

Works too well!!! Love it. This has helped the family with indoor allergies and we have less sneezing and coughing.

Very quiet. A little big but very lightweight to move around. Works great to minimize smoke inside home.
