Easy to assemble and use, but easy scratching after I got it in 3 days.

Thinking of the price of the Dyson dryer some might think it is too much money but after seeing it in action I believe it is worth it. Since my fiancée have long blonde hair I decided to let her try it first. We opened up the packaging and everything was individually wrapped. The instructions was included and very easy if needed. The dryer is so simple that you do not really need instructions but it's always recommended for safety. When she turned the power on we were amazed on how quiet it is and still powerful. Trust me you will probably never need the max power. You also get magnetic attachments for all types of hair. The cool on this dryer feels cool compared to other hair dryers I'm familiar with. The Dyson hair dryer dried her hair in less than 10 minutes. Even though she loves her older expensive hair dryer I think she will be using this a lot more. The Dyson is very light and everything about it looks and feel like great quality. If my fiancée love it so much and she is picky I know this will be a favorite for those who try the supersonic Dyson hair dryer. Bottom line is the Dyson works as advertised.

I told was great at first I've fall in love with I must get it,even though the cord was too heavy I like a lot,smooth shine dry fast but after one couple weeks of using is over heated,if on for little while it shot down by self have to wait few min before turn back on by will happen over and over again,I'm very sorry but I'm send it back..I probably recommend if you by only for your hair.

I was skeptical about this hair dryer...I wondered what in the world can make it so great that it held such an exorbitant price tag. Then I tried it. Despite what some people may think, every hair dryer is not equal. This one ranks up there with the elite of hair dryers. It dries quickly without damaging the hair or making your strands feel dehydrated. I don't have a relaxer or any other chemical treatments so I rely on a good blowout and flat ironing session to offer me straight hair. The better the blowout the less heat I have to apply with a flat iron and the more likely I am able to go until my next wash before needing to use any additional heat. I had been happy with my previous hair dryer because it gave me good to slightly better results but after trying this one I realize that I wasn't getting as great of an experience as I thought. My dry time was cut down to half of what it normally takes and I was able to flat iron more quickly with only one pass per section (something I have never been able to do). My hair was softer than usual and not nearly as dry as it normally is after I do a blowout and flat ironing (dry as in my hair wasn't in desperate need of moisture restored). This dryer is a little lighter than any other dryer I've used and it's design definitely eliminated the arm fatigue I often experience. The attachments are easy to snap on and adjust thanks to the magnetic connection used. The ability to adjust the heat level and the airflow is great. I was surprised how powerful the airflow was on this dryer and was more surprised that I was able to use it on the lowest heat setting with medium airflow and still receive great results. The 9 ft cord is also appreciated. The 3 attachments included are great for almost any use needed although I would love for Dyson to offer a comb attachment in the future. It's not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have the option available. Overall I love how this dryer works. The only negative (and it's a big one) is the price point. It's an excellent hair dryer and well worth a premium price point...but I do think the pricing is above what most can and would want to pay for it. Ultimately it's something I would recommend to everyone that can get their hands on it and can afford the price. With it's 2 year warranty and the exceptional way that it performs it may very well be worth the investment. Especially if you usually go for cheap dryers but find yourself replacing them often. It's too soon to say how long this dryer can hold up but the reputation of Dyson along with the great warranty gives me hope that I won't be disappointed.

Made my hair drier no pun intended lol Def not worth 400, beware of constant maintenance as well!

Was in a bind and this product solved everything. Recently moved from beautiful south Florida to somewhere much more frigid and my girlfriend would always hug me with cold, wet hair. This product solved that issue and came with the supplemental benefit of making her very happy. It is also much quieter than the traditional hair dryer. While yes other products will solve my primary issue of cold wet hair, other products would not provide the same supplemental benefit. Your girl has seen other influencers on tik tok flexing this hair dryer and undoubtedly wants one. This is an ideal gift and will make her hair look great and is worth its weight in bj points. Christmas present for my daughter, SHE LOVED it and was so excited when she opened the gift. I have heard nothing but great things from her about the dryer. She dries her hair in half the time and its always so shiny. She says that its more ergonomic than other hair dryers and the weight is balanced. The heat control technology is awesome. My Daughter has a lot of hair and I thought this would be the perfect gift. I was right. If you dont use a hair dryer every day and you dont have a lot of hair then this product probably isn't for you. The build quality of this Dyson Supersonic Hair dryer is impressive. I always like it when magnets are incorporated into devices, and so to have the ends magnetized onto the main body of the hair dryer, is a really nice design. I was surprised when I first turned on the Dyson Supersonic, the sound was not what I had expected, it sort of sounds like a high performance dentist drill, then once it is on and running, the sound of air is more noticeable and the zinging noise is less noticeable. This Dyson Supersonic hair dryer has a really cool sound to it. The main thing I use a hair dryer for, being a guy, is for the following list of things: To dry wood glue when building wood projects. To blow the inside of a computer free of dust. To spot warm myself when cold To dry my shoes & socks & feet of moisture. I always have a hair dryer plugged in next to my recliner, and when my feet get sweaty, or cold, then I reach form my hair dryer, and then my feet are nice and dry. This drastically reduces the growth of the athlete’s foot fungus. Keeping my feet dry and warm is what I use a hair dryer for more than anything, and the Dyson does not come with any round attachment, and the long oval attachments do not work as well for drying socks. If I was a person with long hair and used a hair dryer for the purpose of drying hair, then I would say that this would be one of the coolest hair dryers to use. My overall impression of this Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, is that it might be difficult to build a nicer hair dryer. I did check the option saying that I would suggest this item to a friend, this is based upon how well built and innovative it is, but at the current selling price of $399, I would be less likely to suggest it at that price. After all, this is only an electric device that has one main purpose, drying hair, and I don’t feel as if most people would want to spend $400 for a hair dryer. The original selling price of $400 for this Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, is the reason I am rating this as a 4 star product, instead of 5 stars. I figured I would add one fact about hair dryers, this is that hair spray is what damages a hair dryer more than anything. If ever spraying hair spray onto your hair, and then wanting to blow your hair one last time, then wait like 30 seconds after spraying the hair spray, before turning on a hair dryer. Otherwise the hair spray will get sucked into the hair dryer, and this will cause substantial clogging and eventually damage.

Best blow dryer I have ever owned. It’s worth the price and even more with the sale. My curls diffuse beautifully:) I can also use the different attachment to straighten my hair. The heat settings vary between 3 heat temps and a cool setting. My hair dries in half the time. Very easy to clean the filter. I can’t complain about my purchase.

I feel like this blow dryer is amazing the attachments to smooth out your hair is the best it works incredibly well. As long as you clean out your vent and keep that clean this thing's going to last forever! To me it's worth every penny. It dries your hair faster than a normal blow dryer as well!

Ok, first off, got this for the wife due to the fact that I don't have enough hair to bother using a hair dryer on. Most of this review is from her point of view, though I'm guessing that she matches the primary demographic for this device anyway. I am truly amazed at the work Dyson does on appliances. Do the alternates that have been around forever work almost as good, sure but Dyson always seems to up that game in style, usability, and function. I haven't been let down by any of the multitude of products I have from them that are all still running just as well as the day I purchased them. That being said, I was a tad skeptical on how much you could really do to a hair dryer, I must say though that Dyson being Dyson has done it again and made a stellar product. For its primary duty as a hair dryer it is awesome and does the job just as well as my wife previous dryer. Doesn't seem to do it faster or slower and her hair doesn't look any different. What it does do better is give a heck of a lot better control over her hair drying and best of all for me, it does so in a much quieter fashion. Now on those rare days when I get to sleep in past her, I can actually sleep and not be woken up by a screaming hair dryer! If for no other reason, it was worth it for me. That and the fact that I'm sure that this dryer will last forever which is great because my wife has gone through three dryers in the last two years. Eventually this thing is going to pay for itself. My wife had only one quibble with the Supersonic and it has to do with one of Dyson's main selling points for this thing. The balance that she is used to when drying her hair is completely thrown off by having the guts moved to the handle instead of in the head of the device. Now I'm sure she is going to get used to it the same way she initially got used to using a hair dryer in the first place but for right now she says her arms are sore from working different muscles. So maybe this isn't a bad thing, perhaps Dyson should also list as one of the benefits of the Supersonic that it is also a workout device! Bottom line: Can you get something that does exactly what this does for a whole lot less money? Yes of course but that can be said of any Dyson product and hasn't stopped them from winning legions of fans (including me). To me, this was worth the price because I see my wife using this for the rest of her life. Considering I have spent over $100 in the last two years on other dryers I figure even if it only lasts a decade, I will have still saved money! Amazing dryer and attachments. Runs quiet, easy to hold and operate. The cord is quite heavy and a bit unwieldy - my experience has been that it is heavy enough that if the cord is not fully supported the plug won't stay in the electrical outlet. Certainly not a dealbreaker, but might take a little engineering depending on one's outlet location. Also, really severe off-gassing - so much so that I can not store it in a bathroom cabinet without the room smelling like chemicals. It lives in the garage for now, but hopefully that wears off eventually. Despite the cons, very pleased with this purchase and how it works with my hair.
