I love my new printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a HP printer and this printer is way better than my old HP. I also LOVE the fact i don't have to pay a monthly charge for ink. I can also put my own ink in myself is a game changer my household. I wish it was a touch screen though. My HP was, but over all this was a far better buy.

What a difference!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't believe what a difference in this printer vs our older model. Hoping the ink savings will help pay off in the long run. Set-up took a little longer than other printers, but we have it working great now! Wireless works great can print from phones or computer.

Great little printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. I have used an Epson printer for many years and when I found out about the EcoTank ET-3850 system and the savings on ink, I decided to take the plunge and invest in one. Setup was easy and connecting through WIFI just as easy and being able to have the printer separate from the PC was ideal for sharing with a 2nd PC. Print quality appears acceptable for our home usage, although we haven't tried printing photographs since that was not our intended usage. Good value, small footprint and quiet to use. Go buy one, you will be pleased.

Best printer purchase EVER!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is everything that I asked for. Set up was a piece of cake. I have printed about 200 pages, most of which have lots of color. The amount of ink used has been minimal. I would have gone through more ink cartridges in my previous Canon ink jet printer than I could count... or afford. Granted the Best Buy store I purchased this from did not have any units for immediate take home BUT mine was delivered by noon the following day (the day before Thanksgiving) in a very small town in very rural Nebraska. Very Pleased with purchase. Clerk at the store was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Eco Tank ET-3850 review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have only used the printer a few times so far but the Eco Tank seems to make sense. Have printed color document, B&W documents - all are of good quality. Set up was easy, have it configured as a wired network printer, setup on Windows 10 computers easy, the Linux computer even found the printer when it came on line.

Epson ET 3850

Good printer for home office
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really pleased with this printer. I got it to replace another older Epson that used cartridges instead of the "tanks". It was easy to set up and the print quality is excellent. One of my favorite features is the automatic document feeder. I now can can multiple pages at a time which is great. The only thing I am not thrilled with is the control panel. My old printer had a touchscreen. This one has a keypad which is a little more cumbersome to use. For example, to turn off the printer, you can't just simple push the power button. Once you push the power button, it asks if you want to turn off the printer. Y, then then have to push the right arrow to toggle to "Yes" then press the OK button. Too many steps, IMO. All in all great value and good performance for the $$.

EcoTank a +++
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to setup, to connect to my phone and to use manually. Print from laptop easily and quality of copies is very good. Photos on photo paper excellent quality. Would recommend for sure just based on those things. I haven’t even mentioned that the ink level is still the same.

Epson ET-3850
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer to replace an old HP workhorse that was past its prime. I really wanted a mega-tank type printer, and with my timeline and in-store availability, this one seemed to fit the bill. Pros: It's much smaller and lighter than my old printer, which I appreciated since it lives in my living room. The ink tanks were easy and clean to fill, and I'm excited about not having to buy cartridges. Setup was straightforward but time consuming. It's super easy to connect any device, whether computer or phone. Cons: Communication to the computer once a document is sent is slow, leaving you wondering if the document successfully sent. Printing and scanning legal size documents, although possible, is extremely frustrating. The color on full-color pictures is poor, but maybe there's a setting to change saturation, I haven't looked. It's a bit tedious to get through the menus, especially since the display is not touch screen. Coming from my old office-quality printer, it's a bit disappointing overall. Overall, it seems to be a great printer for basic use. Anything beyond basic might require another model. Had it not been this type and with full tanks, and I traded in my old printer, I would have returned it. It works for me but I really should have looked harder before purchasing (I later found a discontinued but still available Epson model that has more of the features I often use). Thank goodness these days we're doing more basic printing, but if that changes, I will need to consider replacing this unit.

Great Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Husband bought this for me for Christmas. Super easy to setup and use. Setup went so smoothly I had to go back and make sure I didn't miss anything. All other printers I have had to setup always seem to give me some sort of trouble but not this one.

Totally worth it
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer ink cartridges drove us to look for a better option. After some research, we centered onto Epson. We chose this model because we did not necessarily need a touch screen. So far (+6 mo of pretty heavy use)... printing has been easy for normal weight papers. Card Stock puts up a little more of a fuss. Placing the shorter stack in the tray slightly forward. Not pushing it all the eay back. Make sure to fan the stack too. It really makes a difference with card stock. Mass printing of full coverage. Watch the finished sheets. Discolored lines will show up on sheets. That is a marker that it is time to clean the printer head via the maintenance selection. So far that is the only thing that is a minor annoyance. It has only jammed up 3 times so far. And I have printed 3500 sheets. Copies are good. Scans are also good. Wireless printing is amazing. Being able to print from my phone is a game changer when I find some random recipe online. This printer has been great for us. Overall it has been significantly cheaper to operate due to the bottles of ink we can purchase vs the cartridges that have increased in cost and hold less ink then in the past.

Great purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an older model printer that required cartridges and typically needed to have the heads cleaned before each intermittent use. It was SO frustrating! I saw reviews of the Epson EcoTank which addressed these specific concerns so took a chance and purchased it. I'm SO very glad I did! The set up was very easy and it prints great every time

Epson ET-3850
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted an all-in-one printer and was attracted to the Supertank vs. cartridges. This is pricy (compared to cartridge) but a very nice printer. Setup is a little tricky and it is a must to use the Epson setup software. Once completed this printer impressed me on ease of use, performance, and excellent printouts. I purchased the ET-3850 for the paper draw/tray and the top sheet feeder - features not available on Epson's less expensive model. Although I have read reviews on picture quality not being great, I am more than satisfied with the results.

So far so excellent.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just replaced an older HP printer with this Epson printer. It was very simple to set up, phone app support is great, and installing on computers was great too. There were som slight delays in air-printing and WiFi device recognition, but those have been resolved easily. Now for how the product works; printing is great. We’ve only printed a few pages at a time so no real input on speed of multi page docs. Where I’m really satisfied with this product relates to scanning. I had to scan an older DD-214 (from 1960’s) and the detail of reproduction was flawless at 600 dpi setting. I am totally amazed of the output and I didn’t have to tweak settings to achieve these results. Definitely recommend this scanner printer to anyone in the market.

An very functional and dependable printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer replaced a WorkForce printer, which had a mental breakdown. Compared to the WK, this printer is a little slower printing a page and a little louder when printing. Otherwise, the ET prints well, the colors are bright when printing in color. The small screen for selecting operations takes time to adjust to, but options are easy to read and comprehend.

Most dependable printer I ever bought.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best printer, so dependable, ink last forever and easy to refill after 5000+ pages. My first printer like this lasted 8 years and still going! Shag says it all, and he was 100% correct. The Best investment

Worth the investment!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good! I got this printer to do away with cartridges! They say it uses more ink initially so you’ll see the 4 levels drop after initialization from the top line, but any subsequent new bottles of ink will not do that. I can already tell it’s faster than my old printer and I like how easy it is to set up using Epson’s app! Highly recommended for those wanting to save on ink!

Love my new EcoTank printer!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new EcoTank printer! The set up instructions were very easy to follow and the print quality is great. Filling the tanks was very easy, with no mess. I haven't printed any photo's yet, so I can't speak to that, but if the photo quality is anything like the paper print quality I will be very satisfied.
