I tried many gaming laptops with 30 series graphics and this is by far the best 3060 variant all around. Its a jack of all trades machine but master of none. The FHD screen is great though it would be nice if it was QHD like the 2022 models. the 100w TDP of the GPU actually punches above its weight class and out performs other laptops within 5 watts like the asus zephyrus m16. The thermals are amazingly good still on this and the modes you can set in the vantage center are very good to control temps and fan sound between quiet, balanced and turbo modes. There is an indicator on the power button to show which mode your in and doubles as a finger print scanner for windows login. The webcame is the best 720p quality and image processing ive seen on a windows machine before the FHD ones started coming out. These are always being cleared out or on sale so if you need a good option and find this even open box at your store then pick it up! Battery life with a ryzen cpu is very good while not gaming also for a windows machine.

Use for trading. Super fast, good screen size,side #'s keyboard. Wife has Lenovo and seem to last. Less expensive compared to other gaming laptops

Great performance, been playing Apex Legends @uncapped fps getting 160+constantly when plugged . Light,thin and easy to carry. Keyboard feels amazing. Bezel started to detached at the bottom of the scrren contacted Lenovo. Laptop will be sent for repair next week.

Im always impressed with how well Lenovo constructs their Legion laptops! If I listed all the laptops I’ve been through with the past months with Best Buy you’d think I’m over-analyzing thing! But it’s such a beautiful thing when you purchase a product and for the first time you unbox you realize “oh wow, no backlight bleeding!”, and Lenovo did just that with my purchase. Now if you purchased a MacBook you’d know that’s rarely ever an issue. Above that, the laptop runs flawlessly! Even for the 1080p display I gotta say I did not think it would be that good! I’ve gone through a couple of laptops with 1080p displays (I’m looking at you Asus) and was disappointed by the lack of good quality or brightness in nits which led me to go 1440p route, but if you’re a gamer you’d know that it’ll require more $$$. So constantly scrolling on deals of Best Buy and purchasing laptops from vendors like Asus, HP, MSI, Aorus, Alienware, and even Acer I was never impressed! I know that sounds terribly picky but the actual truth is there was ALWAYS something off! For instance, it could be the speakers which mind you I’ve come to learn the best speakers for Windows laptop are hands down the Asus G14, but going back to what I was saying the speakers or backlight bleeding, poor cooling, display wasn’t as accurate, etc.. Then I run into this deal… $400 off the original price and I’m like sure why not? Let’s give it a go, and I unbox.. First look..huh no lightbleed.. second look.. wow this screen is bright O_o… third look… is this 1440p?? Pan in closer to realize holy crap this is 1080p! Then comes the keyboard test… immediately love it!! Port check… it could’ve used an HDMI port but I’m not worried about that. Nvidia settings…no advance optimus but MUX Switch included!! This thing started checking every thing out! Speakers…this is purely rated on Windows Laptops only as the MacBooks still hold reign over all. Bass = 4 Mids = 6 Treble/Highs = 8 The only caveat I saw was the size of the brick, but still for such a slim laptop and great battery life (thank you AMD) its amazing. A fingerprint sensor is also included which works everytime I use it. I did uninstall corsair iCue since i read that drains your battery. Get this thing on a deal if you can! Its extremely worth it!!

I’ve always been in the gaming world, this laptop has ran everything I’ve thrown at it so far, from Rust all the way to Star Citizen, amazing, hasn’t let me down, and I’ll definitely buy another when I need an upgrade!

I'm an IT Solutions Architect and I work with a lot of Network Diagrams, Visios, AutoCAD and other CPU intensive applications. I also like to game in what little free time I have. This PC shines in these areas. The battery life is “just OK” so don’t expect to do too much without it close by. If you have the option, I'd recommend sticking with Windows 10 for the time being, as I decided to give Windows 11 a go to try something new.....In hindsight, I wish I loaded Windows 10, as Windows 11 is a bit buggy in my opinion, not to mention some of the missing features that seem like a "no brainer." I'm able to do work for my job AND game in 120 fps at max settings without any hiccups or issues so far. My only gripe is the poor condition I received the laptop in. I purchased this as "Open Box Excellent" but the laptop came packaged pretty subpar in a generic box. No Lenovo packaging, pamphlets, materials or anything. It didn't even come with the power cord! Just the adapter! This was a HUGE miss in my opinion. To build on top of this, the screen seemed a bit "warped" as if someone had been opening and closing it from the right side for an extended period of time. There are even a few scuffs on the front of the machine where it looks like someone ran into the edge of a table with it. The more I inspected the machine, the more I'm convinced I was sold an " Open-Box Satisfactory" version with an "Open Box Excellent" Sticker. Someone must have used this for 29 days of heavy use and handling, then returned it right before the return window cutoff. I tried to make a complaint, but Best Buy's Website makes it difficult to impossible to make a claim for this type of mishap. Taking it as a "lesson learned" on my end. I’ll stick to new condition purchases moving forward. Overall, I'm pleased with the performance, I'm just disappointed in the version that that sent me, as I feel like I overpaid for the version I was sent. If you care about these types of situations, I recommend paying the extra $$$ and just getting a "brand new " version. Hope this helps!

This laptop does everything I need it to and more! It is absolutely incredible. It runs any game I want to play on high frame rates. Although it does run hot I purchased a cooling pad and it drastically reduced the temperatures. The build quality is amazing especially for the price. I highly recommend this laptop.

I’ve owned this for a few days now. I bought this open box. I came prepared with a usb drive of W10 and I immediately formatted and installed W10 while my gf drove home. All I care about are thermals and smooth gameplay while plugged in. I set max processor power setting to 90%. This was a game changer and it reduced my temps for the cpu from 100° to in the low 60s Celsius under a gaming load for the processor. The video card runs at 70°C to 71°C under gaming load because even though the screen can do more fps, I’ve got my fps capped at 75 And I can’t complain. I also turned down some game settings from the beginning so I am not sure how hot it can get maxed out. I also changed a bios setting to discrete gpu setting. My main computer is a desktop with a 3090 and an I-9 and 165 fps but I am totally happy with this laptop even though it’s not as powerful. You have to adjust these power settings in any gaming laptop. You’d be surprised at how smooth it will still run. I’m sure I adjusted a couple of other things that I forgot to mention like the cooling mode to be the opposite of quiet because I want full cooling capacity. CPUID HWMonitor is an awesome app and it also will tell you the battery wear level and even though it was open box it was like new condition. Thanks again Best Buy. It is a great time in this tech era to buy an affordable gaming laptop. It is my first gaming laptop since windows xp! Oh and I’ll go to W11 later on maybe on the next reformat in a year or two.

Been using this laptop for gaming for almost a year and it's still working perfectly! It's very lightweight for a gaming laptop and I have no trouble carrying it from room to room. It sometimes gets a little warm and loud but that's to be expected when running a game with such graphics. I thought about buying a laptop cooling fan but it wasn't not enough of an issue to need one. I also use it like I do a normal laptop and it definitely works for that as well.

Best laptop for this price range, i love its speed and power to handle my graphic intense software. Also, its finger print scanner is awesome.

This is the first laptop I bought myself, and I usually use it to study and occasionally play video games. May be because it is the game's sake so the daily power consumption is still full fast, but the performance at this price is already very good, I play some games to operate very smoothly, with a year has not encountered any big problems. Overall it is a good laptop.

TL:DR... It's fast, light, and slim. Plenty of power for what I need. Let me start by saying that I'm not a gamer, so I can't speak to performance in terms of the demands that gaming places on a machine. I purchased this specifically to edit video, replacing a computer that suffered a fatal hardware failure. It's my first AMD-driven machine, and I'm impressed with the capabilities I've experienced so far. I'm able to run Davinci Resolve without any problems, as well as other software to master and burn discs (this machine does not include an optical drive). The video card is more than enough to run multiple displays, although there is no HDMI output, so I purchased a multi-display adapter that runs off a USB-C port.

I have been using Lenovo products since 2016, and the last laptop I had stayed with me through thick and thin, I found myself doing a lot of research and landed on this deal, the price was great so I ended up getting it, so impressed with the performance and I have played so many games with high end specs and it seems to perform well! My only issue is the battery life. If you plan to get this laptop consider buying another NVMe SSD, and a USB/HDMI hub. Other than that I have no complains.

Cheap platic shell just crumbles apart would not recomend for long lasting laptop

It has the power to video editing to play a lot of games. It does heat up so buy a laptop fan for under it.

I honestly love my computer. The only thing that gets annoying is there’s a constant rainbow light when it’s charging.

This is a great gaming laptop for the value. Definitely holds up well with games like Fortnite or apex. The display looks great and it runs very smooth. The only things I can see people having a problem with is the fans do get pretty loud when gaming (doesn’t necessarily bother me to much), and I’m not a fan of the soft finger print magnet matte finish material it’s made out of. But other than that, i think it’s a great value!

I bought this gaming laptop to use it for gaming and college. It’s really good, I can run almost all of the games at 120+ fps and also some VR games. The only flaw is that the lightning setting for your keyboard only work after you log in so you will always see a rainbow in your keyboard every time you turn on the laptop.
